Qualifications

The Role

The Role
As a Sr Production Technician, you will be responsible for producing cannabis products within our wide portfolio. In this role you will use a variety of tools, equipment, and small machinery to produce and/or package cannabis products in accordance with our safety, quality and productivity guidelines. The Role
This position is responsible for delivering cannabis products to GTI’s customers within the state of Illinois. This position will also assist production in various departments when not on the road.

The Role
This position is responsible for delivering cannabis products to GTI's customers within the state of Illinois. This position will also assist production in various departments when not on the road.
Responsibilities
- Loading the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the day
- Ability to interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering cannabis
- Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks (changing tires, check and add fluids, etc.)
- Ability to manage the documents associated with cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept, and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing.
- Assist in other departments to meet production needs while not on the road.

The Role
As an Order Fulfillment Technician, you are responsible for the final stage of the product's lifecycle in our manufacturing facility. This position's main function is pulling sales orders and preparing them for delivery, verifying accuracy of product type and quantity. Additionally, the Order Fulfillment Technician is quality checking to ensure compliant labeling as they prepare orders. This role is also responsible for tracking product electronically on the State traceability system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations.
Responsibilities
Safety:
- Follow all department specific safety practices including the use of PPE
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the designated work area, including supporting all 5S requirements
- Remain compliant with all safety training requirements
- Promptly report safety concerns, including near miss situations
Production:
- Pulling sales orders and preparing them for delivery; labeling in accordance with DoA rules & regulations
- Creating and managing excel spreadsheets
- Tracking product through state traceability program
- Picking finished goods from vault storage for individual dispensaries
- Confirming packaging and marketing labels are correct on finished goods
- Applying compliance labels to all products
- Confirming products' unit counts and compliance labels match dispensary manifests, ensuring no rejections nor complaints from customers
- Toting and sealing all finished orders for delivery
Quality & Compliance:
- Follow all department specific SOP's to ensure accurate inventory reporting and product movement
- Ensure unit counts are accurate and returning additional product back to correct stock locations
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills required.

The Role
The purpose of this position is to ensure the successful quality and compliance management operations at our Rock Island, IL cultivation facility. This position is to ensure through process performance audits that all raw ingredients, raw materials, packaging, and finished products comply with all applicable regulations and meet or exceed the customer's expectations and to take action when predefined standards are not met. This position will also help manage product quality tracking systems, FDA standards, internal and external audits, etc. The goal for this role is to ensure compliance with all Green Thumb corporate operating procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, regulations, ordinances, and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with management to lead quality initiatives that develop and maintain a high performing, scalable, and compliant quality system
- Perform or oversee routine audits of compliance processes to assure accuracy and thoroughness of completion
- Participate in and facilitate state regulatory compliance inspections, investigate, and resolve compliance concerns, issues, or violations
- Conducts weekly compliance risk assessments and identifies potential areas of vulnerability and risk, develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid recurrence of same or similar issues in the future
- Annual inventory planning and summary generation for DOA/ISP submission
- Label/packaging review and approval adhering to regulatory requirements
- Works with Quality and Compliance Manager to identify all legal and regulatory requirements and legislative updates applicable to all the site's business lines and keeps up to date in changes of the regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of compliance terminology, laws, rules, and regulations of industry and laws as issued by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois State Police and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional regulation
- Provides guidance on various departments regarding compliance issues and implementation of new compliance requirements with respect to regulatory and contractual requirements
- Conduct research on compliance topics, including but not limited to privacy, federal regulations, state laws and related publications for known risk areas
- Ensures that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved
- Work with department leaders to troubleshoot any deficiencies that surface, to ensure issues get rectified quickly with high standard
- Analyze facility trends to assess potential areas of continued non-compliance
- Routinely reviews monthly corporate QA/QC documentation and assures that all areas of concern are addressed appropriately according to corporate policy and regulatory standards
- Assist production personnel in the investigation of root causes and corrective action of internal rejects, corrective/preventive action, preventive control points, and customer complaints.
- Continually study the existing quality system and make recommendations for improvements.
- Perform assigned Quality Inspections
- Perform improvement projects as identified.
- Collect quality data and report metrics to management.
- Monitors compliance to established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required, Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of regulatory compliance management including interfacing with regulators and inspectors
- 5+ years work experience with a proven track record of building and developing QA/QC processes and systems
- Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner is to determine how a specific job will be performed and who will perform which activities for our large manufacturing sites at Green Thumb. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for facilitating communication between production departments and maintenance departments. As the Maintenance Planner the individual is also responsible for the development and control of the Maintenance Weekly Work Schedules, including balancing the workload with the available resources. Emphasis will be on schedule consistency and workability, which supports meeting the Production or Facility needs. This individual will be required to successfully maintain accurate schedules throughout development and execution. This includes updating and publishing the Weekly Work Schedules as required. Responsibilities
- Work with plant teams and maintenance personnel in identifying and planning work
- Plan and identify work including ordering of parts and planning the execution of work
- Coach and develop area maintenance and other personnel in preventive/predictive maintenance principles and concepts
- Assist with planning and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on key processing equipment
- Own and manage the maintenance CMMS system. Entering PM schedule details, spare parts, and work schedules.
- Review work orders to ensure work is completed in a satisfactory manner and ensure employee performance in work completed
- Understand and utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts to drive continuous improvement and finished product conformance to requirements and coach and develop employee skills in these areas
- Coordinate, develop and update Work Schedules to ensure an accurate product for use in effective planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition, and schedule execution
- Develop detailed, accurate and usable schedules and reports to provide effective management tools for execution and feedback
- Attend scheduling meetings to ensure pre-planning, implementation, and schedule critiques are effective in developing continuous product improvement
- Assist in the development of work windows and contingency plans, by working with Work Week Supervisors, Maintenance Manager, Project Managers and Reliability Engineers

- Develop an understanding of equipment and machinery in operations in order to serve as a resource to team members for preventive maintenance guidelines as well as unanticipated machinery breakdowns.

The Role
We're looking for a true team player who's blazing with passion for the cannabis industry to serve as Assistant Head Grower for our operations in Rock Island, IL. In this role, you'll help provide big-picture direction and leadership to our grow team, and you'll play a key role in ensuring our facilities are up to snuff when it comes to safety measures and GTI's operating standards. Responsibilities
- Partner with Head Grower to execute against assigned grow operations and projects
- Responsible for directing work with the Grow Team and ensuring team works at and above GTI Grow Team expectations
- Manage, supervise and direct the activities of assigned staff; make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees. Assign work and monitor progress; guide, train and develop employees in the accomplishment of their duties and goals through professional growth
- Direct and assist management of grow schedules, personnel and quality assurance practices
- Assure compliance with local, state, and federal licensing requirements
- Accurate data entry in inventory tracking systems
- Will be required to be on-call and to respond to emergency situations at any time. This may include scheduling issues, potentially covering a vacant shift, facility issues and/ or human resources requirements.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, related science degree or 5+ years in production agriculture environment
- 2+ years of commercial cultivation experience
- Proven experience in overseeing aspects of professional production environments including equipment handling, production operations, processing and execution
- Knowledgeable of growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria, and nutrient implementation
- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options
- Strong knowledge of plant varieties with high yield and /or disease and insect resistant characteristics
- Cannabis growing experience preferred, not required
- Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness

The Role
The Human Resource Associate aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at the GTI Rock Island location. This role provides a variety of support to the HR function including new employee onboarding, employee engagement activities, employee relations and a variety of management of projects. Additionally, this role provides support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping and file maintenance. You must track and maintain all employee data (contact information, earning rates, absences, promotions, etc.) often using paper and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software, so strong computer and clerical skills are a must.
