This role will look to provide a well-executed marketing plan aimed at both new customer acquisition as well as customer retention built around customer service rather than constant markdowns to build value. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Juva’s social media retail presence and explore ways to improve reach and reputation through ongoing collaboration with retail brand providers.
- Coordinating promotional branded inventory (SWAG) and developing effective usage strategies to enhance our brand experience.
- Creating digital banner ads to be used on both our ShopJuva website and third-party listings (eg – Weedmaps).
- Producing weekly marketing messages via SMS, email, and social media in line with current sales objectives, known regulatory roadblocks, and company brand guidelines.
- Developing automated communication flows to engage customers aimed at increasing retention rates.
- Compose bi-weekly blog posts highlighting industry trends and featured products to boost website SEO.
- Assessing local events for Juva to reach target markets. Includes coordinating an event team to ensure proper setup, staffing, and execution of the event.
- Working with the Merchandise Coordinator to ensure successful turnover of all merchandise in line with company guidelines.
- Develop an engaging loyalty program focused on customer referrals while also using our point-based system to promote products and services.
- Ensuring 5-star reputation on third-party websites, overseeing company responses to all customer inquiries and reviews.
- Track and measure marketing analytics and present findings to the executive team.
- Engage with team members at all levels to drive marketing initiatives and increase success rates.
- Produce in-store signage for our new retail location set to open in Redwood City.

The Packaging & Processing Specialist is responsible for manicuring and packaging plant material and infused products. In this role, maintaining accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labelling, and inventory is paramount. The Packaging & Processing Specialist is also responsible for maintaining a perpetually clean workspace to provide a sterile environment for production of medical products. This person will also have some responsibility for tracking product electronically on the company MRP system to ensure compliance with state laws and program regulations. Responsibilities
- Breakdown cured batches and extracted oil from the lab into multiple different weight increments (3.5 g, 7 g, ½ g and 1 g etc.) and package them accordingly
- Keep a precise count of all packaged product and weight(s) of product used for an accurate end of day reconciliation of packaged inventory and remaining inventory
- Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
- Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day

Qualifications

The Lab Technician assists the Lab Manager to ensure high quality product and carries out day-to-day tasks including testing, prepping, extracting, and packaging. The Lab Technician must monitor and maintain production facility in accordance with the state of Oregon and standards set by the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute validation of analytical systems
- Operating highly sophisticated processing equipment; Processing concentrates and extracts
- Cleaning and maintenance of processing equipment and laboratory facility following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures; complying with legal regulations; monitoring environment
- Operating, maintaining, and making adjustments and repairs to laboratory equipment such as analytical systems, pumps, microscopes, balances, rotary evaporator, centrifuges, and other laboratory equipment
- Creating dilutions, HPLC diagnostics and repair, calibration
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment, and preparing requisitions as needed
- Storing supplies and equipment, and keeping laboratory, storerooms and working areas immaculate
- Washing and sterilizing laboratory glassware
- Performing clerical work related to laboratory activities such as word processing, record keeping, and filing
- Assist in packaging of final products as needed
- Assist in the training of other technicians
- Work with state licensed third party testing lab to ensure QC
- Performs related duties as assigned
Compliance:
- Ensure processing operation is fully compliant with state and federal regulations
- Maintain analytical and other laboratory waste with registered waste disposal company while following state regulations
- Maintaining material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products
- Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory and documents production by completing forms, reports, logs and records
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred/ 1-2 years' experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting required
- QA/QC Experience with HPLC and GC analysis
- Experience with Agilent equipment using ChemStation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must not have been convicted of any felony offenses pursuant to state statues
- Capacity to work independently and/or with vendors, perform troubleshooting and solve complex problems
- The qualified individual will possess a keen interest and knowledge of Organic and Inorganic chemistry
Job Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures such as proportions and work with mathematical concepts such as probability. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to keep precise, highly detailed, and accurate records of calculations, procedures, and inventory of equipment, chemicals, consumables, and production in both hard and soft copies
- Required candidate would be a motivated self-starter with willingness to learn and dig into documentation and service manuals
- Ability to follow written instruction and work to update SOP's based on needs and changing industry requirements
- Follow good health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a chemistry laboratory
- Capabilities with computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories
- Able to critically analyze, draw conclusions about, and summarize test results in a timely manner
- Must be a highly flexible and motivated team player committed to working in a quality environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with customers in a welcoming and friendly manner.
- Set-up and process customer orders; handle all customer call-ins and update customers on expected delivery/service times (ETA's).
- As required, provide customer assistance in choosing products and navigating the checkout and delivery process.
- Ensure customers' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate customer requests and/or problems to a manager when needed.
