Experienced Ethanol Extraction Lab Technician Join the East Coast’s premier Industrial Hemp-derived cannabinoid ingredients manufacturer. North York is quickly becoming the center of Industrial Hemp cultivation and processing and Hemp Productions is leading the way. Our mission is to make cannabis health available to everyone by providing safe, consistent and effective cGMP cannabinoid ingredients of the highest quality to retail product manufacturers everywhere.
As a Distillation Technician, you will work closely with the Production Manager and the processing team to refine hemp oil into distilled and isolated products in our labs. Responsibilities include continuous operation and monitor of state-of-the-art equipment used to separate and purify active compounds and use of our detailed tracking solution procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete and pass rigorous GMP compliance training and continuing education of the same.
- Operate equipment at extreme temperatures and follow parameters on a precision scale.
- Load and unload hot and volatile liquids utilizing proper hazmat clothing and safety methods.
- Monitor potentially volatile reactions as well as safely store and/or transport materials to and from specialized production equipment.
- Assist Production Manager in all aspects of the evaporation and separation process.
- Perform duties necessary for continuous evaporation operations.
- Troubleshoot down equipment and perform equipment maintenance.
- Maintain an organized and clean production environment.
- Follow Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) to produce high-quality active ingredients.
- Understand and follow all safety protocols.
