Position Overview
Retail Specialists (aka Budtender) are the first and most important relationship our customers have. They are the ones delivering the Skymint Experience by creating connections, treating people with authentic kindness and courtesy, providing recommendations, and listening. Specialists succeed through living our service philosophy and being a driver, a brand ambassador, empathetic, inclusive, and action-oriented!
You will
· Drive sales and customer engagement by maintaining a high level of product knowledge expertise.
· Provide extraordinary customer service by recommending and helping customers with their cannabis and merchandise selections or while completing their cash transactions.
· Communicate knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment, safety, or security practices.
· Ensure maintenance of product presentation to brand standards and signage.
· Support in organizing the sales floor, cash wrap, reception area, and all non-selling areas
What we are looking for
· Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day/evening and weekend shifts.
· Positive interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude while communicating with customers and other store employees
· High school graduate/equivalent required.
· 1+ years Retail, Budtender, Hospitality, Cashier, or Customer Service Experience preferred.
· Cannabis knowledge preferred.
· Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, cash wrap, and back of house areas for up to 8 hours a day.
· Ability to operate the register (cash handling) and merchandise product.
· Experience using technology applicable to the position and access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
· Ability to pass a background check prior to hire.
· Ability to lift to 30 pounds and moderate climbing required.

The candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and organization skills.
Is able to maintain accurate information of the cultivation process in BioTRAC, inventory system. Practices strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills. Carries out Nutrient regiments, and IPM protocols. Maintains the safety and inventory of the cultivation space. Communicates issues that may arise immediately to the Head of Cultivation, and Cultivation Leads, keeping them aware of any and all potential problems.
Perform all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar, and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal, cleaning and inventory management.
- Manage cannabis plants, and tasks via the designated inventory management system.
- Give each individual plant the attention it needs, one at a time, while paying close attention to detail.
- Clone vegetation maintaining at least a 90% success rate.
- Follow grow warehouse protocols and nutrient regiments.
- Maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options, seeking continuing education as directed by the Head of Cultivation.
- Execute preventative maintenance, warding against mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, and other dangers to the plant.
- Employ essential growing methods. Maintains in-depth knowledge of PH, PPM and EC counts.
- Mastery of Soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation.
- Working knowledge in container systems with soil and hydro as well as understanding temperature and humidity manipulation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Strains-- Sativa, Indica and Hybrids. Maintain knowledge of growth characteristics, nutrient needs, and environmental needs of individual strains.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keep every tool or implement used in its appropriate place. Return items to where they belong, upon completion of a task.
- Comply with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist Head of Cultivation and Leads in maintaining OSHA standards, safety, and protocols.
- Don proper PPE in the cultivation space, at all times.
- Perform facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
Able to wear a respirator, as needed, responsible for obtaining “fit tests” for respirators.
Any additional duties as determined by Management.
Must be able to work flexible work schedule; must be available for overtime during harvest period.
- May need to lift 50+ plus pounds and stand for long hours. May be required to lift boxes, plants, tools and various heavy implements.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas.
- Actively involved in Workplace Safety.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed and takes steps to update any outdated procedures.

We are seeking a dynamic individual that has the skills to manage several retail product-lines in close coordination with our branding and manufacturing staff. The products under management will be OTC CBD/hemp-based cosmetics, topicals, and spa treatment products.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and engage in revenue generating digital marketing.
- Manage operational back end (raw materials – inventory sourcing)
- Maintain and manage online assets including coordinate photo shoots, create story boards, website look and feel and overall messaging.
- Set strategy for online sales.
- Define release process.
- Develop strategies for both print and digital.
- Experience with high-end spa products or cosmetics, or topicals a plus.
- Represent brand at trade shows.
- Develop brand management plans for each product and submit updated summaries on exposure to management each month.
- Establish feedback mechanism to maintain contact with customers and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved.
- Work closely with advertising and PR agencies to manage brand marketing campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MBA, MA, BA in liberal arts, marketing, advertising or related field.
