Requirements

The Role

Responsibilities

- In partnership with CGM, develop annual and quarterly revenue plans, prepare monthly sales reports by product and channel to evaluate brand and product performance and develop annual and quarterly sales plans.

Qualifications

The Role
The purpose of this position is to ensure the successful quality and compliance management operations at our Paterson, NJ cultivation facility. This position is to ensure through process performance audits that all raw ingredients, raw materials, packaging, and finished products comply with all applicable regulations and meet or exceed the customer's expectations and to take action when predefined standards are not met. This position will also help manage product quality tracking systems, FDA standards, internal and external audits, etc. The goal for this role is to ensure compliance with all Green Thumb corporate operating procedures, as well as applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, regulations, ordinances, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with management to lead quality initiatives that develop and maintain a high performing, scalable, and compliant quality system
- Perform or oversee routine audits of compliance processes to assure accuracy and thoroughness of completion
- Participate in and facilitate state regulatory compliance inspections, investigate, and resolve compliance concerns, issues, or violations
- Conducts weekly compliance risk assessments and identifies potential areas of vulnerability and risk, develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid recurrence of same or similar issues in the future
- Annual inventory planning and summary generation for DOA/ISP submission
- Label/packaging review and approval adhering to regulatory requirements
- Works with Quality and Compliance Manager to identify all legal and regulatory requirements and legislative updates applicable to all the site's business lines and keeps up to date in changes of the regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of compliance terminology, laws, rules, and regulations of industry and laws as issued by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois State Police and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional regulation
- Provides guidance on various departments regarding compliance issues and implementation of new compliance requirements with respect to regulatory and contractual requirements
- Conduct research on compliance topics, including but not limited to privacy, federal regulations, state laws and related publications for known risk areas
- Ensures that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved
- Work with department leaders to troubleshoot any deficiencies that surface, to ensure issues get rectified quickly with high standard
- Analyze facility trends to assess potential areas of continued non-compliance
- Routinely reviews monthly corporate QA/QC documentation and assures that all areas of concern are addressed appropriately according to corporate policy and regulatory standards
- Assist production personnel in the investigation of root causes and corrective action of internal rejects, corrective/preventive action, preventive control points, and customer complaints.
- Continually study the existing quality system and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required, Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of regulatory compliance management including interfacing with regulators and inspectors
- 5+ years work experience with a proven track record of building and developing QA/QC processes and systems
- Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Must be able to work variable day shifts dependent on business need

The Role
Harvest Supervisor will be responsible for managing, planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and leading the Harvest activities for the Paterson, NJ facility. This Supervisor will lead the team and will ensure quality, compliance and consistency of service delivery, and will focus on higher level planning, forecasting, and general business activities of this group. The Harvest Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Head Grower.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with Head Grower and the General Manager.
- Keep detailed harvest & flower records and submit reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc. as needed
- Run, supervise, and assign harvest & flower crew members
- Work collaboratively with Head Grower on Drying/Curing process
- Manage the cannabis harvest process including offload, harvesting, sanitizing and reloading flower rooms, milling and destruction.
- Lead and support the Harvest & Flower teams, identify gaps and weaknesses and allocate resources accordingly.
- Assist Team Leads and Shift Leads with conflict resolution within the department, and address employee concerns and questions.
- Coordinate with supervisory staff to ensure staffing numbers are met based on the harvest & production schedules.
- Work with executive management to establish and manage current and long-range objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), strategic plans and procedures.
- Ensure all employees are properly trained on SOPs and departmental processes. Develop and ensure SOPs are being followed for all harvest and post-harvest activities.
- Direct and promote employee safety through Company safety program and create a culture of safety and teamwork in the Harvest & Flower department and throughout the facility.
- Ensure all harvest & flower tools and machinery are in working order and coordinate with the maintenance department to troubleshoot/fix any mechanical issues.
- Provide regular feedback and support to supervisors and coordinators in all harvest & flower related activities.
- Collaborate with the Quality/Compliance department to ensure all aspects of quality & compliance are maintained, including records and documentation, and improved on as required.
- Identify concepts and plans for cost and productivity improvements.
- Manage, supervise and direct the activities of assigned staff; make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees in department

Qualifications
- A minimum bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience working in a manufacturing, batching, facilities or related industry is required.
- Experience in production facility operations is considered an asset; experience with Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams to the highest quality work
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with different groups, changing deadlines, priorities and requirements.
- Experience working in a highly regulated space is preferred.

The Role
As a manufacturing facility Plant Controller with Green Thumb, you will be an integral part of the plant management team as well as a key member of the Operations Finance team. As such, this position requires direct involvement in both plant operations and accounting/finance activities and initiatives as required. Duties include overall responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational management information to be used in reporting financial results as well as managing the facility, and more specifically as follows;
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly closing of financials for facility in accordance with GAAP and Company policy
- Prepare monthly analysis of financial results including variance / bridging analysis in coordination with the facility GM and operational staff
- Coordination and oversight of physical inventories, SOX, and audits with plant sites
- Prepare daily/weekly labor utilization plan, including headcount and overtime reporting
- Lead and prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts comparing projected results to prior year, budget and previous forecasts
- Coordinate evaluation of capital projects and approval process
- Maintain fixed asset register: record new assets, transfers or retirements and calculate monthly depreciation figures
- Perform operational analysis, trend projections and forecasting
- Lead site level financial meetings, participate in site level leadership meetings, provide financial visibility to business partners for decision making
- Review site performance and KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes.
- Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs

Job Responsibilities
Answer web inquiriesOrganize and schedule appointmentsPlan meetings and take detailed minutesWrite and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsDevelop and maintain a filing systemUpdate and maintain office policies and proceduresOrder office supplies and research new deals and suppliersMaintain contact listsBook travel arrangementsSubmit and reconcile expense reports
Skills
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistantKnowledge of office management systems and proceduresWorking knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machinesProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-taskHigh School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
