Primary Objective of Assistant Grower:
- To grow top quality crops in accordance with the production parameters and product specifications as outlined by the Lead Grower.
- To make sound judgements when making decisions based on specific crop needs.
- Act with professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and equipment. Assistant growers need to be trained (by the responsible Lead Grower) in the use of all equipment for all areas prior to using any and all of the equipment.
- Reports to the Lead Grower.
Essential Key Functions:
Daily assignments and work priorities delegated from the Lead Grower
- Speak with the Lead Grower each morning for specific non-watering projects.
- When starting the workday, be prepared and have all items gathered up and organized.
- Assistants are required to be able to lift 25lb. bags of fertilizer and chemicals.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of plant growth, chemical applications, and production schedules.
Irrigation of crops
- Watering is the most important job and must be accurately complete before other projects begin.
- All areas you are responsible for must be checked twice a day. For example: 7:00am and 12:45pm.
- You will be trained to accurately identify irrigation needs to maintain healthy crops.
- Make irrigation decisions based on the crop, its stage of development, environmental factors, and when the crop is scheduled to be ready.
Use and management of irrigation systems
- Adjustment of irrigation intervals and duration of automatic boom systems
- Adjustment of irrigation intervals and duration of automatic drip systems
- Report any electrical or mechanical problems to the Lead Grower
- Trained to program and run boom and supplemental lighting
Application of pesticides and fungicides
- All training must be completed before any chemical applications and handling occur.
- Spray pesticides and fungicides as directed by the Lead Grower and plant growth regulators.
- While spraying and handling chemicals, must always have on the proper PPE and post pesticide signs where applicable.
- When finished applying chemicals, must always dispose of chemical containers properly and record and sign the spray log.
- Apply plant growth regulators, curative and preventative fungicides and insecticides based on the Lead or Head Growers recommendations.
- All chemical applications must be accurately recorded for MPS and OSHA safety requirements.
Scouting crops
- Scout crops daily when walking crops for any disease or insect problems and anything that does not appear to be normal.
- All crop problems and issues must be reported to the Lead Grower immediately
- Scout the crop for disease, insect pests, and any nutritional deficiencies
Greenhouse sanitation and cleanliness
- Clean up all bad and non-shippable plants and dispose of properly
- Clean up and organize all walkways, common areas, and personal storage areas daily in your assigned section before leaving work.
- Make sure all trash is removed daily
- Use sanitation, cultural practices, and chemical applications to keep plants healthy, free of insects, and disease.
Safety
- No one is allowed to operate electric carts, forklifts, tractors, chemical sprayers, power washers, or any equipment without documented proper training by Lead Grower and/or Head Grower.
Qualifications:
- High attention to detail and organization
- Exceptional time management skills
- Adaptability and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Horticulture education or related field is highly preferred, comfort working with basic science and math concepts is required
- Greenhouse, nursery, or agriculture experience is preferred
- Ability to lift 25lbs. repeatedly
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong team and communication skills
- Bilingual (not required, but preffered)

Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for entering, updating and verifying Humboldt Farms raw material inventory transactions. This role requires great attention to detail and works closely with other departments to maintain inventory accuracy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily records of all cannabis movement and changes in disposition within the Processing & Distribution licenses.
- Enter accurate inventory data in the ERP and associated forms or spreadsheets.
- In conjunction with Procurement and Intake, ensure incoming material is correctly received in a timely manner.
- Verify all transfers and shipments are done accurately and compliantly.
- Research and resolve any inventory variances or discrepancies.
- Ensure all secured storage space is clean and impeccably organized. This includes, but is not limited to, use of prominent labeling and separation between unlike items.
- Ensure environment within cannabis storage area is kept within established limits. (temp, relative humidity, etc.)
- Conduct frequent cycle counts of physical inventory locations.
- Assist with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits and End of Month Close.
- Generate inventory reports and analysis as needed.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all personnel.
- Perform other related duties as requested in a timely manner.
