JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for promoting a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with established policies and procedures. Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent customer service and enhancing the customer experience in store through product knowledge.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Responsible for achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of the POS, cash handling, safe audits, and change drops
- Greets and checks in customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Assists customers in store, on the phone and processing online orders
- Encourages sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Ensures compliance with legal requirements and has a full understanding of the training and compliance binder
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Upholds the Company policies and procedures and compliance standards

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service, leading by example and training the retail staff on customer service standards
- Maintains technical industry knowledge and product knowledge, trains staff on products in store
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and completing store and evaluations
- Has a full understanding of the compliance binder
- Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of the POS, cash handling, safe audits, and change drops
- Upholds and enforces the Company policies and procedures, and effectively trains new staff on the policies and procedures
- Managing and motivating store staff by coaching and training

- Ensure maximum profitability and sales growth in all store functions by managing expense budgets, including deposits, accounts receivable, and profit and loss.
- Direct daily operations with full P&L responsibility at the store-level.
- Seek out new and innovative ways to increase business.
- Maintain quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any complaints.
- Utilize management information tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
- Coordinate with the Harvest retail ops, procurement and marketing team to understand the success of promotions, coupons, etc. and to recommend future promotions and sales.
- Perform inventory audits, assessments of productivity, and of new merchandise in partnership with other departments.
- Adhere to all cannabis state-specific regulations and laws, execute and enforce compliance efforts.
- Review dispensary environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide coaching to the team and take action to achieve operational goals.

- 5+ years of experience in General Manager roles in a retail, hospitality, and/or sales setting is required-or equivalent.
- Cannabis experience strongly preferred.
