Job Purpose
The BSA Sr Compliance Analyst assists the BSA Officer with core functions of the BSA/AML/OFAC and Red Flag Identity Theft program. Perform daily functions of the BSA Department including back-up for certain BSA Officer duties including Suspicious Activity Report investigation, completion, and filing. Duties also include due diligence review of our customers and other cash intensive businesses, monitoring customer activity and resolving daily, weekly, and monthly Alerts, and adhering to all BSA Compliance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Detect, analyze, and document potentially suspicious activity by reviewing system generated alerts, various internal reports, employee referrals and other methods as needed.
- Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence for various customers, including but not limited to: money service businesses, customers exempted from CTR filing, higher risk customers, and customers with privately owned ATM' s.
- Collect necessary documentation, updated licenses, and follow-up as needed directly with clients.
- Perform ongoing analysis on the bank's customer base to support the maintenance of an enterprise wide BSA/AML and OFAC Risk Assessment.
- Review account activity and interpret the data in financial software systems, identifying trends and/or red flags.
- Prepare required regulatory filings, and review completed regulatory filings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to submission to regulatory agencies.
- Prioritize workload, ensure work completion and FinCEN deadlines and requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank's AML/BSA policies and procedures through monitoring and testing activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for BSA/AML requirements, including customers.
- Identification Program and provide guidance to bank employees as needed to ensure they understand BSA/AML requirements.
- Complete ongoing professional development and training to improve understanding and comprehension of BSA/AML rules, regulations, industry standards, and best practices
- Earn a BSA/AML professional credential within 24 months of starting the position.
- Assist in research and analysis related to Consumer Compliance, as needed, at the direction of the Compliance Manager.
- Complete assignments and projects as assigned by BSA Officer and ad hoc requests from other teams.
- Identify process improvements, present updated proposals, and participate in implement of changes.
- Assist with the review of Cannabis / CannaFirst related account documentation, regulatory filings, ongoing monitoring, and other support functions of the business line.
- Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned, to support the BSA Department's mission and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- High School graduate. Higher Education coursework, Bachelors degree preferred.
- Must have or able to achieve BSA AML Professional Certification.
- Strong thorough knowledge of Bank operations
- Must be able to demonstrate strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively to customers and employees.
- Must be proficient with standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to understand financial data (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Financial Ratios, etc.) and apply those skills as they pertain to the loan underwriting process.
- Must be detail-oriented in order to generate accurate reports.
- Must have exceptional time management skills and be able to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

The Vault Tech conducts inventory counts, documents product in the vault and moves product to their categorized, designated storage space with the vault.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes UIN audits in our state’s tracking system (Metrc) daily to ensure that all product has been transferred into the appropriate ‘room’ within Metrc. Ensure anything that is done physically, is also completed digitally.
- Conducts weekly counts of ready for sale products to report to the LeafLink Lead to ensure inventory is correct for both the sales team and dispensaries.
- Completes investigations on any questionable UINs and the location of products.
- Communicates any problems that may arise within the vault to the manager.
- Monitors product expiration dates.
- Organizes hard copy files/reports.
- Communicates with packaging department for when finished goods are ready to be transferred from packaging to the vault.
- Documents accurately all finished product that comes into the vault. Gives detailed report of specifications of each item. I.e.: Product name, Weight, THC %, total amount, and flower tiers which are designated by Post Harvest and the Sales team.
- Moves all products to their categorized, designated storage space within the vault until fulfillment is ready to pull these products for delivery orders.
- Carries out the consolidations of shelf space of these products to prepare for new inventory.
- Assists with any other projects/fulfillment duties that are assigned by manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for comprehensive execution of the facility’s inventory needs including supply chain purchasing, receiving, product packaging, and order fulfillment. This position assists to drive the facility’s inventory program and ensures product orders and fulfilled accurately and timely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Implements an inventory tracking system to record receiving shipments and purchase operational supplies.

Job Description
The Regional Director of Compliance ensures that our dispensaries are operating in compliance with state and local rules, regulations, and ordinances. The Regional Director of Compliance will also keep the management team up to date on legal and regulatory matters impacting operations, assist in the development of company policies and standard operating procedures, monitor operations to identify and correct instances of non-compliance, and function as a quasi-independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within the Company and conducts regular audits and staff trainings. The person who fills this role will also advise and guide management personnel and employees on applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations, and will be called upon to provide answers to complex questions and help find lawful yet innovative solutions to legal and regulatory issues.
The Regional Director of Compliance will also work with the leadership team to develop and implement replicable processes, policies, and systems related to compliance and ensure their effectiveness. This person will also ensure reporting, registration, filing, and other similar mandatory tasks are completed in a timely fashion and coordinate with management to stay ahead of any future changes in regulations. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive benefits, compensation, and opportunities for internal advancement.
An ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of and at least 3 years of experience working in a compliance position in a regulated cannabis market in the US.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain internal compliance and audit controls through checklists, protocols, and other means to ensure operational success.
· Develop and oversee all staff compliance training, including new employee onboarding and continuing training.
· Manage the administration, maintenance, and accuracy of all required reports, documentation and equipment.
· Remain up to date on relevant industry-related and state-mandated laws and regulations, analyze their impact and make recommendations to operations and management to update internal SOPs in accordance with new regulations.
· Perform on-site inspections on a regular basis at dispensaries in Mississippi to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues; and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. This includes providing guidance to management on implementing policy and/or process changes to comply with new and/or changes to regulations.
· Oversee any recalls and/or health/public safety issues. This includes reporting to government agencies, developing communication to dispensaries and/or consumers, working with the management team to develop a corrective plan.
· Work with functional leaders to ensure information is communicated and all managers are properly informed of changes to regulations, policies, and procedures in their respective areas.
· Manage the implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the operating units.
· Develop collaborative relationships with the state regulatory agency representatives and regulators.
· Send weekly reports to management with current compliance issues, recommendations, and regulatory updates.
· Document all changes into training manuals and SOPs.
· Respond to management inquires and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Performing any necessary follow-up consultations within the full one-year validation period of patient certification
- Inform patients of the risks associated with medical cannabis use

- Patient appointments are booked via our website and call center based upon our practitioners' availability. Those patients are then seen for an in-person evaluation by the practitioner at our Mississippi offices

Job Description
The Compliance Supervisor ensures that our manufacturing and cultivation facilities are operating in compliance with state and local rules, regulations, and ordinances. The Compliance Supervisor will also keep the METRC Software up to date on a daily basis, assist in the implementation of company policies and standard operating procedures, monitor operations to identify and correct instances of non-compliance, and function as a quasi-independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues and concerns within the Company and conducts regular audits and staff trainings. The person who fills this role will also advise and guide management personnel and employees on applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations, and will be called upon to provide answers to complex questions and help find lawful yet innovative solutions to legal and regulatory issues.
The Compliance Supervisor will also work with the leadership team and department managers to develop and implement replicable processes, policies, and systems related to compliance and ensure their effectiveness. This person will also ensure reporting, registration, filing, and other similar mandatory tasks are completed in a timely fashion and coordinate with management to stay ahead of any future changes in regulations. This is a
full-time, salaried position with competitive benefits, compensation, and opportunities for internal advancement.
An ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of and at least 3 years of experience working in a compliance position in a regulated cannabis market in the US.
R*OLE AND *RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain internal compliance and audit controls through checklists, protocols, and other means to ensure operational success.
· Implement staff compliance training, including new employee onboarding and continuing training.
· Manage the inventory, METRC Documents, and accuracy of all required reports, documentation and equipment.
· Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. This includes providing guidance to management on implementing policy and/or process changes to comply with new and/or changes to regulations.
· Work with functional leaders to ensure information is communicated and all managers are properly informed of changes to regulations, policies, and procedures in their respective areas.
· Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
· Manage the implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the operating units.
· Respond to management inquires and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
· Assure compliance with state regulations by having a strong understanding of METRC rules
· Perform audits including testing of internal process standards and controls.
· Ensuring that all data reported to METRC is timely, accurate, and compliant.
· Track the movement of product throughout the production process.
· Work with management and team members to reduce errors in data entry and required reporting / records maintenance.
· Perform audits regularly to ensure inventory is 100% accurate and satisfies physical representation per state rules and regulations.
· Manage the METRC team’s daily operations.

Position Description
The National Center for Cannabis Research and Education (NCCRE), in the School of Pharmacy, The University of Mississippi invites applications for the position of Director. The NCCRE is one of five research centers under the framework of the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (RIPS). The reporting line of the Director is to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy/Executive Director of RIPS. The position comprises a key leadership role in the School of Pharmacy as we expand our long-standing cannabis research program into new directions, taking account of the rapidly changing national and state landscapes for cannabis regulation and clinical use. In particular, with the launch of state medical cannabis programs around the country, and most recently in Mississippi, the NCCRE will aim to bring a strong focus on sound science and clinical research, and science-based education to inform pharmacists and other health professionals, as well as the public.
Applicants must have a Pharm.D., J.D., M.D., Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences or a related discipline, or other relevant doctoral degree and an established reputation in cannabis-related research, education, clinical care, or public policy. This is a top priority, high-visibility program, with excellent opportunity for building a strong science base into new directions. The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise for effective communication/leadership with faculty, legislators, policy-makers, practitioners, and the public. The expectation is that the director will effectively develop new funding mechanisms by a combination of state, federal, and private efforts. Applicants must possess administrative experience and have a record appropriate to an appointment to the faculty in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi. Salary and rank are negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Cannabis trimmers have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Cutting away leaves from the buds to expose the valuable material underneath
- Trimming away excess leaves and branches from harvested cannabis plants to improve the appearance of each plant

- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment used during the trimming process

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Working with all employees engaged in post-harvest activities, he/she will ensure the entire process is monitored, and regulated. The Post Harvest Supervisor will provide the organizational tools to improve the capability of the business process. The Post Harvest Supervisor must ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for the oversight of all processes from pre-harvest planning to order fulfillment, ensuring that harvested plant material moves through the post-harvest pipeline carefully and efficiently, and in compliance with state regulations and company SOPs. This position involves oversight of the Harvesting, Drying/Curing, Trimming, and Processing of all Harvests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Post-Harvest Manager to:
- Oversee the harvest process and all record keeping/data entry that follows
- Follow Post Harvest’s production schedule each week, to ensure the daily operations are streamlined to meet demand
- Follow deadlines to ensure the post-harvest department is meeting set goals
- Follow company SOP’s and adjust based off facility and compliance needs
- Ensure that harvested plants are correctly weighed and recorded into the inventory tracking software and any applicable internal inventory tracking software
- Inspect drying plant material daily and monitor moisture levels
- Maintain digital and physical inventory of all post-harvest material
- Oversee the Curing process of drying plant material depending on the moisture levels
- Inspect for signs of pests, mold, or mildew
- Keep company’s pipeline transparent and accurate
- Monitors and upholds the company’s Quality Control program
- Ordering of production daily burn materials
- Train Staff members and offer training regularly
- Perform staff performance reviews
Minimum Qualifications
- The ideal candidate must be available 24 hours a day and should be able to work a varied schedule which include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent leadership ability, and excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in any relevant trades, including inventory management, food handling, etc.
- 4+ Years professional cannabis experience on a commercial scale
- At least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check at time of application.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.
- Available to work weekends and holidays as necessary.

The State of Mississippi has adopted the Medical Cannabis Program for patients suffering from a variety of qualifying conditions. Marijuana Card Clinic (MMJ) is a company whose goal is to certify patients that qualify for medical marijuana.

We require a hard-working and highly motivated Staff Scientist with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills to work with a fun and dynamic team in the exciting and fast-paced cannabis industry served by Steep Hill Mississippi. The successful candidate and their team are responsible for acquiring and analyzing data used to perform and report analytical laboratory testing of cannabis products, assisting with sample preparation, performing lab support functions, and support of lab improvement projects. The ability to work across a variety of tasks, in a production environment, is an essential attribute for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or life sciences, be familiar with a wide range of laboratory methodologies, and have at least 1 years’ experience with the use of instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, GCMS, ICPMS and/or instruments used to detect and quantify pathogens. The Staff Scientist is responsible to perform data acquisition, analysis, and report preparation for the various testing/screening services. The Staff Scientist will be expected to work across a variety of tasks with attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Position Steep Hill Mississippi at the forefront of Cannabis Analytical Laboratories
- Work with Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Analysts to ensure turnaround times are met
- Consider and address any deficiencies found in other areas, such as facility administration; proficiency testing; and general, pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic systems
- Ensure that all delegated duties are properly performed
- Ensure Laboratory compliance with all necessary regulations
- Manage instrument calibrations, maintenance and address any equipment malfunction or failure
- Partner with the Lab Director, Lead Analyst, lab staff, customers and more to build on lab practices and improve laboratory operations
- Provide guidance on analysis of data, and report preparation for the testing/screening for cannabinoid potency, terpene potency, residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology analysis, water activity, and mycotoxins
- Learn and execute established Steep Hill and state regulatory SOP’s
- As assigned, assist with the upkeep and improvement of elements of the quality management system such as SOP’s and the training program
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Perform other laboratory and clerical duties such as data entry, filing, or supply inventory and assumption of other responsibilities on an as-needed basis, or as delegated
- Ensure projects are successfully completed based on project requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Staff Scientist must be at least 21 years old

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for ensuring our plants have fulfilled nutrient and IPM needs at the direction of out Cultivation Supervisors. Therefore, a Cultivation Technician should feel comfortable with manual plant operations including trimming, cloning, watering and spraying plants as needed. The primary function of the Cultivation Technician is to support our cultivation team towards plants that thrive and produce the best harvest possible.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Physical, repetitive agricultural work, follow directions and take instructions from supervisors
- Waters and applies plant nutrients and chemicals as directed.
- Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with coworkers.

- Applies METRC tags to plants and assists in inventory counts.

Overview:
· River Remedy is a vertically-integrated medical cannabis company that produces a variety of consumer packaged goods for distribution among medical cannabis dispensaries in Mississippi.
· The Director of Manufacturing role works alongside the Director of Cultivation and Chief Operating Officer to lead a team focused on rapid production of compliant, cost efficient, and high quality medical cannabis products.
· The Director of Manufacturing will manage the post-harvest processing of cannabis flower, laboratory operations (extraction and processing), edible manufacturing, pre-roll manufacturing, and all final packaging.
Responsibilities:
· Generate production schedules by department based on upcoming capacity forecasts and sales forecasts.
· Oversee the preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.
· Hire Lab Production Lead, Kitchen Lead, and Packaging Lead along with other manufacturing department technicians lead ahead of product and process launches.
· Ensure all product labeling is executed in regulatory compliant manner.
· Audit and ensure inventory accuracy in each department.
· Oversee the IQ, OQ, PQ process of all new equipment.
· Regularly analyze human capital vs. forecasts to ensure desired production capacity is met.

The Processing Supervisor serves as our first line of leadership for our machine operators and fulfillment associates, ensuring our production lines are managed effectively for production to flow smoothly and continuously. The Processing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring our teams perform manual plant machine operations and meet production schedules to ship product to our dispensaries. Therefore, a Processing Supervisor should feel comfortable directing teams with manual machine operations including loading, unloading, operating and fixing machinery as needed. The primary function of the Processing Supervisor is to ensure our processing teams move product through the lines smoothly, producing high quality product.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directs and manages all machine and packaging operations in the facility.
- Manages the setup, adjustment, and operations of all equipment in the facilities.
- Ensures all equipment remains in good working order, and orders parts or equipment as necessary.
- Directs a positive team dynamic, ensuring a positive culture persists.
- Ensures processing practices are regulatory compliant, supervising all inputs into METRC and managing as needed.
- Coordinates, communicates and plans with the cultivation team for resource planning.
- Ensures teams keep records of production activities.
- Directs product reconciliation with METRC, mitigating any discrepancy with the Operations Manager and security teams.
- Oversees the safe and complaint destruction of product waste.
- Directs and manages the adherence to standard procedures and security measures to safeguard against diversion.
- Able to present and communicate in a professional manner to leadership.
- Strictly monitors any security threat, especially diversion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Directs the safe use of chemicals including soaps and sanitizers.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree or equivalent, engineering, manufacturing or relevant trade preferred.
- General cannabis education is preferred.
- Prior management experience required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background record check.
- Must hold a valid form of identification (Driver license, state ID)
- Prior experience, preferably in cultivation, agriculture, horticulture, greenhouse or other related discipline.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, physical ability to move plants, and professionalism to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to operate electronic equipment (scanners, computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
WORK SCHEDULE
- Flexible hours depending on location needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available after hours if an emergency should arise, or if otherwise needed at the discretion of management.

At Southern Crop, our Cultivation Technicians serve as our first line of contact with our plants, ensuring our crops thrive. The Cultivation Technician is responsible for ensuring our plants have fulfilled nutrient and IPM needs at the direction of out Cultivation Supervisors. Therefore, a Cultivation Technician should feel comfortable with manual plant operations including trimming, cloning, watering and spraying plants as needed. The primary function of the Cultivation Technician is to support our cultivation team towards plants that thrive and produce the best harvest possible.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Physical, repetitive agricultural work, follow directions and take instructions from supervisors
- Waters and applies plant nutrients and chemicals as directed.
- Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with coworkers.
- Moves, lifts, arranges and physically handles plants as directed.
- Applies METRC tags to plants and assists in inventory counts.
- Assists with spraying plants with pesticides as directed.
- Supports the team in keeping records of pesticides, fertilizer, or other cycle counting activities.
- Takes plant inventory and reconciles this with METRC, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Assists the cultivation team with destroying any cannabis waste.
- Assists the cultivation team with entering plants and batches into METRC as directed.
