POSITION SUMMARY
Our Receiving Specialist will be responsible for receiving and tracking all incoming cannabis and non-cannabis shipments of consumables and supplies for the entire organization and preparing them for distribution. This person will be performing inventory audits and tracking product usage. Other responsibilities include ordering restock supplies to keep warehouse inventory levels to par.

· Report and investigate product discrepancies in inventory logs
· Track, trace, and update status of incoming shipments
· Promptly load and unload deliveries, sort, and stock receivables
· Manage all internal expense reports
· Provide back-up support of the facility supply chain
· Maintain a positive demeanor with drivers, vendors, and internal customers

Cannabis Dispensary Assistant Store Manager

Must be a current Colorado resident and able to obtain a Colorado MED Occupational License through the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division.
Maggie's Farm Assistant Store Manager works with the Store Manager to ensure store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. This role will assist in meeting the needs of customers/patients and developing a professional team that is passionate about cannabis and the benefits of the product.
This position typically works standard store hours and may be required to work over 40 hours a week as needed to fulfill staffing requirements.
If you have the following experience, the Assistant Store Manager role could be for you:
- Experience with increasing sales and profitability by ensuring efficient operations, cost-saving measures and increasing productivity
- Supervise and inspire retail staff to deliver the highest level of customer service; ensure staff understands and shares Maggies’ Farm story with customers/patients to increase customer knowledge of brand and brand loyalty
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
- Assist in implementing employee education and development initiatives for staff about cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
- Assist staff in exceeding sales, service, and profit goals set by Store Manager by providing coaching to staff
- Open and close the store accurately and on time following established processes and procedures
- Monitor sales floor for staffing, customer needs, service, atmosphere, and security
- Responsible for in-store signage, menus, and other sales materials
- Participate in developing and implementing operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; ensure best practices are consistently adhered to by staff
- Supervise activities of assigned staff; provide input on hiring, discipline, performance evaluations, termination or advancement of employees
- Participate in development of schedules and perform duties to provide additional coverage as required
- Assist in managing product inventory; work with Purchasing and Farm Managers to manage inventory levels for designated location
- Must maintain current knowledge of all state and local laws and regulations for cannabis sales; ensure dispensary’s compliance with local and state regulations
- Assist in managing cash handling procedures and record keeping ensuring accuracy of all transactions, cash, and records
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, professional, fun, and compliant work environment
- Assist in analyzing store performance making recommendations to improve sales performance
- Work with Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist in executing Customer Education and Customer Experience initiatives to increase brand awareness
- Increase customer awareness and satisfaction to continue achieving local market recognition/awards such as “Best of”
- Oversee standards of cleanliness and organization are met in store to include stock room, kitchen and bathroom
- Serve as a liaison to the local community
- Additional reporting requirements and tasks may be required at Medical Dispensaries
- Perform other duties as assigned

- One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in a retail, customer service, hospitality, food service or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
