cannabis company, is seeking a Master Grower to join their cultivation team near Macclenny, Florida.
The Master Grower will oversee all cultivation tasks and processes including planning, coordinating and overseeing the transition of product development by ensuring all tasks are executed and environmental conditions support the superior product quality. This Cultivation Leader will report to the Director of Operations and ensure that cultivation duties are efficiently and timely completed in a manner consistent with the company's operations procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all Cultivation Operation
Responsible for managing cultivation staff, cultivation schedules and processes, and serve as a role-model for cultivation staff.
- Oversees supply stock, orders, and deliveries to ensure efficient levels of all cultivation inputs and supplies.
- Responsible for measuring and mixing nutrient and plant applications and applying these mixtures according to SOP policy.
- Expert knowledge of temperature, humidity, plant diseases, insects and fungi, and treatment.
- Constantly learning about new techniques, individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress, lighting and set ups.
- Ensure plant health by pruning, toping, trimming, analyzing plant health according to the SOP policy, as well as any other tasks required.
- Create a positive safety culture ensuring safety of our employees and visitors at all times.
- Provide necessary support to Director of Operations to ensure cultivation duties are consistent.
- Will conduct inventory checks, plant health assessments, transitions, planting, watering, and plant maintenance on a weekly basis
- Responsible for maintaining a professional, clean, and efficient work environment.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient knowledge of large-scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, light requirements, temperature control and airflow.
- Advanced cannabis plant and genetics knowledge.
- Experience with compliance systems.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with plant health and data-tracking.
- Effectively lead, encourage and motivate teams of employees to successfully complete critical and challenging projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and particularly those governing cannabis, and organizational rules, directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Salary Range: $100K - $125K
