Zen Leaf Lombard is growing, and we are looking to add passionate, customer service focused talent to our store! The Cannabis Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management.

**This position requires full-time | night and weekend availability!**

Our ideal Cannabis Advisor has a positive upbeat attitude and a desire to help people find the best product for their needs. A background in retail and hospitality is highly preferred (1-2 years), but customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Possess a positive attitude while greeting customers and patients


• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care


• Help customers and patients navigate through cannabis and educate them on how it can be used as a wellness product


• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business


• Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment


• Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice)


• Be open to continued, on-going cannabis education and training


• Provide support to managers and other Cannabis Consultants as needed


• Maintain a clean, organize, and sanitize workstation/store front


• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up


• Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws


• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory


• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC, BioTrack, etc.) accurately updates the amount of product available

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience


• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations


• Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)


• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods


• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.


• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations

Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 20 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. Qualifications:

• Military or law enforcement background preferred.
• Must have a valid PERC card and 20-hour unarmed security training.
• Must have an Original Firearm Training Certificate, issued by IDFPR; and have completed a re-qualification within the past 12 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must be able to obtain a Cultivation/Dispensary Identification Card.
• Good credit record.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
• Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time.

The Zen Leaf Dispensary is dedicated to providing exceptional customer experience on every visit. We are currently seeking an Inventory Manager to join our team at our upcoming Lombard Dispensary. The Inventory Manager is responsible for the dispensary's entire inventory and counts all items in stock. They will analyze inventory records, order supplies, manage the processing of defective items, and devise ways to reduce inaccurate inventory reporting and theft.

As the Inventory Manager, you are required to perform the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner:

• Maintain accurate counts of all cannabis inventory by doing daily counts and performing reconciliations when necessary
• Ensure that all product received is properly tagged according to state and local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork
• Reconcile inventory with METRC and POS system to ensure that all information is accurately porting to the state system and no malfunctions of the POS and scales are occurring
• Keep a clean and well-organized vault area that allows for unencumbered access to product, sinks, cleaning areas, and inventory desk.
• Maintain all delivery records and invoices according to the methods prescribed by the General Manager
• Assist General Manager or Area Director with quarterly and third-party audits when applicable
• Provide any reports requested by the General Manager
• This position reports directly to the General Manager and Area Director and/or VP of Retail

Requirements

• At least 1 year(s) of prior management experience dealing directly with store inventory
• High school degree or general education degree (GED) is required for all positions
• Must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pass a state and federal criminal background check
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling demands including some weekends, regularly scheduled shifts, and applicable holidays.
• Demonstrated passion to serving the adult cannabis community preferred
• Previous experience in a highly regulated industry preferred

The Cannabis Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management.

Our ideal Cannabis Consultant has a positive upbeat attitude and a desire to help people find the best product for their needs. A background in retail and hospitality is highly preferred (1-2 years), but customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Possess a positive attitude while greeting customers and patients
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care
• Help customers and patients navigate through cannabis and educate them on how it can be used as a wellness product
• Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business
• Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice)
• Be open to continued, on-going cannabis education and training
• Provide support to managers and other Cannabis Consultants as needed
• Maintain a clean, organize, and sanitize workstation/store front
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up
• Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory
• Complete transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC, BioTrack, etc.) accurately updates the amount of product available
