Assistant Cultivation Manager
The Assistant Cultivation Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the Cultivation Manager and other Team Leads in all cultivation activities including but not limited to correct propagation, vegetation, flowering, harvesting, drying, and trimming of medical marijuana. Responsible for oversight of all Cultivation Technicians ensuring that the facility is safe and compliant with OSHA and state regulations. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring all company policies are upheld and all company-provided standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Responsible for supervising all phases of cultivation operations including regulatory compliance to Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana state law regarding production, quality control, maintenance, receiving, and shipping.
Review after 6 months to determine progress and next steps moving forward depending on progression in the role.

JOB SUMMARY
The Compliance Manager is responsible for the execution of the compliance process for the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Grower/Processor. Experience in PAMMJ rules and regulations is an abolsute must. This would preferably be between 1 & 3 years of PA DOH and MMJ compliance experience. Attention to detail is required. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and has demonstrated independent experience, as this position will provide critical support for the compliance for our Pennsylvania location. This position will evolve over time and will require flexibility in daily duties. All candidates should have some familiarity and comfortability with cannabis. This position will report directly to the Director of Safety & Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
· Spearheads application renewals for municipalities and the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH)
· Partners with Human Resources to administer new affiliations/agent registrations and renewing all existing agent registrations on an annual basis as necessary
· Coordinates with leadership and managers and reviews all standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assists with filings in relation to state regulations compliance for the production facilities.
· Remains abreast of relevant industry-related and state-mandated laws and regulations, analyze their impact and make recommendations to operations and management
· Develops collaborative relationships with Regulatory Agency representatives and regulators
· Provide suggestions to management on implementing policy and/or process changes to comply with new and/or changes to regulations
· Assist with review of product promotional materials, packaging, labeling, batch records, specification sheets, or test methods for compliance with applicable regulations and policies
· Collaborates with others in operations to develop policies, procedures and communications encouraging employees to ensure compliance with company policies and/or government regulations
· Oversee the administration, maintenance, and accuracy of all required reports, documentation and equipment
· Supports any recall and/or health and public safety issues. This includes reporting to government agencies, developing communication to dispensaries and/or consumers, working with the management team to develop a corrective plan
· Respond to management inquires and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
· Involvement in education and workforce programs mandated by our Grower/Processor License
· Educate the management team on state preferences during decision making process to ensure timely decision making
