Job Summary: Budtenders must be enthusiastic, friendly and able to provide basic information regarding the store. Budtenders will directly interact with customers in the process of understanding, selecting, and purchasing cannabis products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide an outstanding customer experience to everyone that walks through the door
- Welcome each person entering the store with a warm, friendly greeting
- Must be on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts
- Build rapport with customers to ensure they return to Carolineās Cannabis
- Answer phones and maintain proper phone etiquette
- Ensure that customers are 21 and over with valid identification
- Educate customers on strains, products, methods, potency, proper storage of product, and serving size.
- Make recommendations based on experience with products.
- Complete daily checklists pertaining to daily store opening and closing duties, among other tasks
- Maintain appearance of store
- Ensure that all sales are accurately and comprehensively tracked in POS system.
- Posses accurate knowledge of product price points
- Responsible for all money and inventory on the sales floor or in designated POS station
- Keep workstations in an orderly manner
- Guide customers to appropriate resources including website and internet menus
- Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures & Regulations
- Consistently show up to each shift with a positive attitude, andready to contribute to the team

Job Requirements (Education & Experience):
- Must be over the age of 21
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Must be able to pass CORI background check
- Must be able to successfully complete a Responsible Vendor Training Program in accordance with 935 CMR.105
- Have experience with POS systems
- Customer service or sales experience required
- Success working closely with a myriad of different personality types
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Genuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industry
- Positive attitude in high volume retail sales setting

Summary:
The role of the Dispensary Agent is to be the primary customer-facing representative and implement retail procedures set by the Dispensary Manager. Dispensary Agent will also follow guidelines set by the Cannabis Control Commission. Duties include the following: performing retail transactions, educating customers on product offerings, auditing inventory, opening/closing procedures, data entry, and cleaning. The Dispensary Agent will embrace continued education as it relates to the cannabis industry and be a team player.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Inspire excellent customer service and confidence to create customer loyalty

- Accurate cash handling
- Verification of proper documentation and ID for customers

Production Technicians will be given specific tasks to complete in an efficient, timely, compliant, and safe manner. This position will assist in the day-to-day flow of product within the retail business operations.

- Accountable for receiving products, reviewing test results, and preparing products for retail sale
- Involves inventory management and tracking
- Package and prepare marijuana flower and prerolls for retail sale
