We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for plants and process, a strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and most importantly – someone who is reliable and trustworthy. Previous experience isn’t a requirement, but if you have some that’s great too. This position is responsible for supporting end-to-end cannabis cultivation practices across indoor, outdoor and greenhouse growing operations.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist with management of strains to ensure variety and quantity goals.
- Follows the type and timing of the preparations, crop tending and cleanup.
- Manage the growing environment for optimal plant growth through irrigation, temperature, climate and pest & disease control systems in accordance with grower instructions.
- Ensure plant health by pruning, trimming, as well as any other tasks required.
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools including containers, mixing tools, application tools and ventilation equipment.
- Support creating reports and documentation for seed to sale and compliance activities.
- Ensure all safety policies are followed and enforced and ensure strict crop growing practices are followed and enforced.
- Assist team in establishing and maintaining a program to record crop growth data (weekly crop report, climate report, maturation report, production, etc.).

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Pest identification

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in conditions typically found in a greenhouse with high humidity and varying temperatures, with a fair amount of moisture present.
- Ability to exert up to 15-50 pounds occasionally in order to lift and move product.
- Ability to balance, reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/ or ladder.
- Ability to crouch, grasp and lift product above shoulders in order to lift product from the floor properly.
- Ability to be on feet while performing job responsibilities.
Qualified candidates must be able to pass a Criminal Background screening.

Head Grower
The position will support the continued expansion and management of a large-scale cultivation operation in the Hanover, Michigan area. Primary responsibilities will be to manage and optimize all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, topping, flushing, foliar, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management. Our company operates under the highest standards of professionalism. Meticulous attention to detail is required.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management
- Create and maintain indoor and outdoor cultivation protocols and a nutrient regimen
- Perform all cultivation tracking and record keeping functions within the seed to sale electronic system remaining in compliance with the department's rules and regulations
- Manage plant scheduling to accurately project all facility requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maximize high-quality yield with efficiency and attention to production costs
- Oversee Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program including elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Help manage assistant growers’ day-to-day responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of cultivation training for team members
- Help manage the grow in a rotational schedule on weekends
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist state and local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements
- Execute and maintain a high-quality facility maintenance and troubleshooting
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years cultivation experience, including greenhouse experience
- Minimum 3 years cultivation experience as a grower, or equivalent
- Mastery of all grow mediums (soil, coco etc.) and irrigation methods (hand-water, sub-irrigation, drip systems)
- Adept at industry best-practices and current/new techniques with respect to nutrient of individual strains, high yield recipes, controlled stress environments to different lighting systems and set ups
- Knowledge of commercial plan cultivation including crop rotation management, nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, and environmental control
- Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and toxicity
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail
- Experience in making irrigation menus
- Experience in scheduling of employees
- Experience in building plant schedules
- Cannabis experience preferred

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for 100 feet

Central Coast Horticultural is a medical Cannabis grower in western Jackson County, MI that is focused on providing quality product to patients around the state. We are currently looking to hire full and part time trimmers to be a part of our team. Here at CCH we strive for a safe, productive, and fun work environment where we feel like one big family. The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; is resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team, and prioritizes quality. Trimmers are primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the marijuana of plant trimming in preparation for sale.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintains the cleanliness of dry/trim/cure rooms with assistance from trim crew
- Trimming of cannabis product
- Assistance with harvest
- Assistance in manicuring and defoliating cannabis plants
- Work in 80+ degrees in the greenhouse while assisting in plant maintenance
Requirements:
- Positive, inclusive attitude

- Ability to pass a criminal background check (covering the last 10 years)
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to sit and trim for 8 hours straight
