Job Summary
The Budtender/Patient Advocate is responsible for providing our customers with an extraordinary experience. Through meaningful interaction and knowledgeable answers, the Budtender fosters an environment that is compassionate, genuine, and respectful. Budtenders are expected to contribute to making their Dispensary a climate which encourages forward thinking, embraces inclusion, and practices generosity of spirit. Budtenders also assist the Management Team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

- Provides knowledge, expertise, guidance, and a personalized experience to each customer by explaining potential benefits of the Premium Cannabis products offered.
- Ensures customer questions or concerns are resolved quickly and completely. Communicates any requests or unresolved concerns to management immediately.
- Accountable for accurately receiving, coordinating, and fulfilling customer orders by utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory tracking systems in compliance with company, local, and state policies.
- Adapts to varied sales volume and stays active by initiating continued learning activities, creating an engaging environment, and assisting in keeping the dispensary properly stocked, clean, tidy and in operating order while keeping a “Customer first” acuity.
- Meets/exceeds day to day sales metrics by following the customer experience selling cycle with tailored product suggestions. This includes meeting individual and team centric sales targets within each dispensary.
- Assist management staff in ensuring all procedures are being followed to reflect regulatory and compliance standards.
- Assists is fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect, while perpetuating a curiosity for “everything cannabis”.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or Store Lead.
Qualifications
Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.- Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency.

AYR Wellness’ Dispensary Shift Lead is a hybrid between dispensary technicians and a support function of the management team. Fully
accountable for all day-to-day retail dispensary operations, specifically focused on patient care/ customer service, employee engagement, and
driving profitability with guidance and collaboration from the Dispensary Store Manager and Assistant Manager as well as other leaders to

Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory in their dispensary. They drive sales through maintaining an up to date and stocked online and in-store menu. They ensure all AYR policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Retail Inventory Manager and the Dispensary Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate counts of all inventories by doing daily counts and performing reconciliations when necessary
- Ensure that all product is properly tagged according to state and local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork
- Reconcile inventory to ensure that all information is accurately porting to the state system and no malfunctions are occurring
- Keep a clean and well-organized shop/Storage area that allows for unencumbered access to product, sinks, cleaning areas, and workstations
- Maintain all delivery records and invoices according to the methods prescribed by the General Manager and state regulations
- Ensure that all items meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Generate purchase orders or transfers to fulfill sale order requirements
- Run and maintain inventory level reports
Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate and work with others, while also able to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
Executes:
- Maintaining all aspects of dispensary operations in strict compliance with Department of Health, municipal and state legal regulations
- All Opening/ Closing Procedures(including all cash accounting procedures and reporting for end of day).
- Cash handling standard operating procedures including register checks to ensure there are no variances between cash actual and POS software
•Ensure dispensary operations are prepared for service and customers •Overseeing the salesfloor to ensure patients are given top service. •Identify and address employee issues on a timely basis. Document appropriately in the Accountability Log. Make Dispensary Store Manager aware of any concerns regarding the performance management of employees.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and industry events; reviewing medical cannabis publications; establishing personal networks within the industry.
Informs & Educates:
- Team by executing Product Knowledge Training to ensure the team is well-educated on the fundamentals of cannabis as well as our entire menu of products
- Team by gathering information about market competition in the area.
Routines
Daily:
- Opening the dispensary;
o oversees the morning cleaning routine
o counts all tills and sets registers
o sets up register logs for each till
o counts vault fund and records amount
o creates break schedule for the day
o ensures TVs are reflecting appropriate promo marketing
- Timekeeping: Reviewing timesheets in Wurk to ensure that all records are accurate
Weekly:
- Change Order: Ensuring there is an adequate/ appropriate amount of cash on hand of each denomination in the vault to replenish the tills.
- Supply Order: Placing all supply orders to ensure their location has the adequate amount of office and cleaning supplies to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure that A/P invoices are processed for payment on at least a weekly basis.
Monthly: Plan, coordinate and execute Community Events

o Management of all visitor logs
o Be accessible and extremely responsive to all team members questions and concerns
o Ensure adequate operational flow
Closing the dispensary:
o Ensuring all register tills have the appropriate amount in them
o Maintaining open communications about discrepancies
o Investigating any discrepancies and recording appropriately
o Ensuring the end of night spreadsheets and reporting are completed appropriately
