JOB SUMMARY
The Packaging Technician is a crucial role at Standard Farms. The Key Patient Consultant provides exceptional customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management. In addition, they will provide support and training to dispensary staff at the direction of the Assistant General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and patients with a smile and positive attitude.
- Assist in regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate levels and immediately report any discrepancies to retail leadership.
- Obtain cannabis product from the vault and provide it to Dispensary Agents for sale.

- Assist customers and patients navigate through their cannabis education journey.
- Verify all product is tagged in accordance with state & local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork from the delivery manifests.
- Support the Inventory Manager with reconciliation of physical inventory within State tracking system and POS systems to ensure all information is accurately porting to the state and no malfunctions of the POS and scales are occurring.
- Review online orders to ensure accuracy before pick-up.
- Support Dispensary Agents with any product or POS System questions.
- Build lasting relationships with regular patients/customers to promote regular store visits.
- Accurately handle cash transactions, including bank drops and daily payouts as needed.
- Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods, and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice).
- Continue on-going cannabis education and training.
- Maintain a clean, organize, and sanitize workstation/store front.
- Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
- Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws.
- Process transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC) accurately updates the amount of product available.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail or hospitality experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.

The Patient Consultant is responsible for assisting and consulting patients and caregiver visitors to the dispensary, as well as other dispensary operational activities as assigned by management. - Assists customers in the retail location in accordance with the Company's mission, vision, goals, and objectives
- Follows established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store
- Helps customers make the right choices by knowing how different methods of cannabis consumption affect our patients differently and suggesting dosage starting points and upward titration for inexperienced patients
- Ensures accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system; Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles in both the POS system and the state's electronic verification system

The Packaging Technician is a crucial role at Commonwealth Alternative Care. This role is responsible for packaging medical devices and medical marijuana products into consumer facing packaging and bulk packaging before leaving the facility. This position will report directly to the Packaging Manager. An applicant for this role should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated, and detail oriented.

- Responsible for the final packaging of all products and devices. Correct identification and assembly of individual packaging components for bulk stock and appropriate label application on product containers.
- Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) - must follow specific directions and guidelines throughout packaging process. Add product into appropriate packaging to fill customer orders – apply labels, include product brochures, and tamper-proof where applicable.
- Ability to perform duties in a manner that ensures a clean and safe production facility
- Maintenance of sanitary conditions of all equipment and tools including workspace, containers, and appliances
- Assisting with the weighing, packaging, labeling, and documentation of all products as well as the tracking of batch numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates
- Working with a team towards meeting department goals around efficiencies and cost
- Identify packaging quality control issues including visually inconsistent, damaged or blemished packaging.

The Lab Technician I is responsible for the processing of medical marijuana plant material into final concentrated and infused products for medical patients. All medical marijuana products created at Standard Farms will be held to the highest of quality and consistency standards. The role is based in a highly compliant laboratory setting. The Lab Technician I is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, is both highly motivated and detail oriented.

- Responsible for the preparation, decarboxylation, extraction, and post-extraction processing of cannabis product in accordance with State and local standards.
- Performs all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.
- Follows all defined current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure that highest level of product safety.
- Completes the sanitation of all production equipment and tools including workspace, lab equipment, containers, and appliances.
- Assist with the weighing, packaging, labeling, and documentation of all products as well as the tracking of batch numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
- Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures.
- Master and control all equipment in a laboratory-type environment including GC, MS, CO2 extraction, bulk batch production, and portioning.
- Contributes to work on process development and improvement. Document all production and batch reports.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Meets department goals relating to efficiencies, yields, and cost.
- Fills in and assists in other facility areas if necessary.

- Ability to pass state and federal background checks – no previous convictions for possession, distribution, or intent to distribute a controlled substance.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
- Ability to sit or stand for 8 or more hours per day
- Ability to lift 10 pounds with each hand and pick up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication skills / ability to rely information within team environment
- Positive work ethic
- One (1) or more years of packaging experience (preferred)
- High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)

- This position works in an indoor environmentally controlled work space. It is possible to sit or stand at intervals during a normal 8-hour day. Overtime may occasionally be required.
- All candidates must be ready, willing, and able to work a fully flexible work schedule to include days, nights and weekends to meet fluctuating business demands based on the needs of the individual department.
