Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Laboratory Technician who shares our passion for quality medicine for patients who need them. The Laboratory Technician assists with operating the facility’s extraction equipment, utilizing processing protocols and strategy, and day to day production. The Laboratory Technician assists the extraction department through the activities required to manufacture, store, maintain, and procure all equipment and materials necessary to run a world-class laboratory.
Pay Rate: $18.00/HR
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Operates all equipment safely and efficiently, including the grinding mill, rotovap, and other processing apparatuses.
- Assists with refining, distilling, isolating, combining, capturing terpenes, coordinating inventory, analyzing potency, and performing microbial tests.
- Follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and applicable government regulations in the industry.
- Accurately weighs, labels, and stores materials and identify and report any deviations.
• Manages inventory of raw materials and record data management software platforms. • Develops and updates SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and process control.
- Understands and safely handles hazardous materials and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on associated equipment. • Monitors and manages lab and processing supplies.
- Contributes toward an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
- Works as part of a team to coordinate and meet production schedules and support new product and process development.
- Exemplifies good verbal and written communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate’s degree in a science discipline preferred (biology, chemistry, or chemical engineering, etc.). 2
- 1-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, food, beverage and/or cannabis industries.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking systems experience.
- Good math and conversion skills.
- Background in natural product extraction (closed loop extraction systems to include ethanol, essential oil extraction, etc.) desired.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn and improve.
- Availability to work occasional weekends and holidays.
- Some travel may be required for training purposes.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or State ID card.

Position Overview: The Delivery Technician provides transportation and security support to our manufacturing operation and ensures that Columbia Care products make it from each site in a timely and safe manner. Imperative to the success of this role is working as a collaborative member of the team, as well as the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment where systems and processes are continuously evolving.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Audit and reconcile the delivery manifest, ensuring specifications, quantity, and quality or orders are correct.
- Drive between manufacturing facility and multiple dispensary locations on a regular basis.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance delivery standards are met for each transport in accordance with State regulations.
- Validate the accuracy of each delivery and ensure deliveries are made using controlled methods.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- 2+ years previous security work history/background.
- 1+ years driving experience.
- Holds a valid unrestricted state driver’s license.

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages oflife-cycle cannabis growth to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system.

- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sell. Alternatively, a background in horticulture and a willingness to learn.

FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview:
The Facility Repairs and Maintenance Technician works closely with the facility leadership team to assist with day-to-day maintenance and custodial work of the cultivation / manufacturing facility. The Technician position requires a highly organized, conscientious, reliable professional who will be discreet with sensitive information and has strong attention to detail.
Pay: $19.00 Hourly
Full Time Position
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs all electrical equipment as needed.
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintains the condition of all mechanical systems.
- Works with contractors and vendors.
- Performs troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems.
- Handles emergency service calls after business hours on an on-call rotation.
- Performs mechanical maintenance and building maintenance as required, using hand tools motorized lifts and machine tools such as lathe mills, grinders, etc.
- Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment.
- Makes rounds of buildings and grounds at regular intervals at night; inspects doors, windows, and locks to see that they are properly and securely fastened.
- Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; reports needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring outside vendor services.
- Scrubs, strips, sanitizes, waxes, and buffs floors using powered machines equipped with rotating brushes.
- Maintains an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
- Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, mirrors, and fixtures using both step and extension ladders.
- Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, snow or other debris.
- Loads and unloads supplies, and moves heavy furniture and equipment using dollies, handcarts, or power equipment. Replaces light bulbs and fuses.
- May perform ground maintenance including removal of snow from sidewalks, salting walkways, mowing small areas of grass, trimming shrubs, etc., at an office site.

- 3 – 5 years industrial work experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
