Seeking Denver Store Manager

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining and enforcing the Company policies and procedures. The Store Manager’s role is to run the store successfully.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service, leading by example and training the retail staff on customer service standards
- Maintains technical industry knowledge and product knowledge, trains staff on products in store
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and completing store and MED evaluations
- Has a full understanding of the compliance binder
- Responsible for the proper and accurate use and training of the POS, cash handling, safe audits, and change drops
- Upholds and enforces the Company policies and procedures, and effectively trains new staff on the policies and procedures
- Managing and motivating store staff by coaching and training
- Conduct performance appraisals and communicates any performance issues to HR and DM
- Responsible for daily, weekly schedules of store staff and managing time off requests
- Responsible for opening and closing the store, and ensuring daily coverage (must work 2 Fridays and 2 Saturdays per month)
- Responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving and processing orders, reviewing METRC tags
- Upholds visual merchandising standards, checking that proper signage, price tickets, marketing materials, etc. are visible and updated
- Effectively leads and maintains communication at store level
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and well-stocked store as well as ensuring general housekeeping duties are upheld
- Maintain store security, use of the NVR cameras and ensuring all customers are screened at the entrance
- Responsible for participating, assisting, and scheduling the proper staff for inventory audits with Ops team
- Responding effectively to customer complaints and inquiries
- Respond to any emergency action items and issues such as pulling NVR footage
- Approves any product discounts
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ or more years of management experience in a retail store environment leading a team of people
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills

- The Supervisor, Retail Operations is responsible for the development of the Dispensing Facility’s privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- This position acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team and the Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.

- Manages and implements policies and procedures for any retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage and disposal and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall.
- This position is responsible for assisting with implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of, storage, delivery, transporting, and distribution.

Summary
Our stores are where customers come to “experience cannabis”, and our Retail Associates are vital to delivering customer service, offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. - Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available
- Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body
- Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests
- Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
- Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines

Summary
Our stores are where customers come to “experience cannabis”, and our Retail Associates are vital to delivering customer service, offering a distinctive shopping experience that drives sales results. The Retail Associate is primarily responsible for providing assistance to patrons and patients through concierge-level service, assuring anyone who visits a store leaves satisfied. Individual responsibilities as a Retail Associate include demonstrating outstanding customer service and sales skills, assisting with keeping the sales floor stocked with merchandise and/or organizing the sales floor and stock areas. The Retail Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the retail location while adhering to company policy and industry regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding, accurate customer service to patrons by answering or appropriately directing questions and concerns
- Lead tours of sales floor within the store, making product recommendations based on ongoing research of strains, cannabinoids and vendor-produced products available
- Maintain knowledge of all cannabis strain profiles, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and accessories for sale in the dispensary, utilizing knowledge of how cannabinoid profiles and potency affect the body
- Retain thorough and comprehensive knowledge of patient and member benefits, discounts, coupons and promotions, encouraging memberships for medical guests
- Understand The Green Solution exchange policy, accessories manufacturer warranties, and how to facilitate guest merchandise returns to Lead Associate and Management
- Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies as well as regulatory agency compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing
- Answer phone with scripted greeting, provide customer service, and accept TGS Express or Call-Ahead orders
- Accurately record phone and online orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Confirm accuracy of order displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight, RFID, Pricing, etc.)
- Verify correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling according to The Green Solution policy
- Operate cash register by using barcode scanner, computer-based POS system and cash drawer to process transactions, ensuring patrons and patients leave with labeled product inside of a state regulated exit bag with correct change and a receipt
- Adhere to The Green Solution security protocol and promote safety for patrons, patients and other Team Members
- Work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction and that compliance goals are met by designated timelines

Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations ensures compliance with all Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program rules and regulations governing the Act, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education in the absence of the Manager and as directed.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations provides management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations manages patient specific logs as required, the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using BioTrackTHC, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations is responsible for the development of the Dispensing Facility’s privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- This position acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team and the Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.
- Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the plan, consistent with established and safety procedures.
- Establishes methods to follows the operating plan in compliance with the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program, maintaining records required by public health law and ensures quality assurance plans, including but limited to plans to detect, identify and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling.

JOB PURPOSE:
Assist Manager in all managerial duties and responsibilities. This is a training position, and the assistant should be able to perform tasks to advance, including supervise the daily operations of company Medical Marijuana Center (MMC) and/or Retail Marijuana Store (RMS) including but not limited to the following duties: knowledge of and compliance with laws, ordering, MED paperwork, notary duties, sales, cash handling processes, financial reporting, inventory management, customer service, regulatory compliance, patient communication, patient education, and patient information management.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist the Manager and serve as secondary point of contact in stores.
- Assist Manager in achieving short-term and long-term business, marketing, and sales goals/objectives.
- Provide support and serve as witness to Manager’s duty to reward and reprimand team members.
- Assist Manager with support for MED reporting, paperwork, and METRC recording.
- Assist with assuring daily compliance with MMC and/or RMS policies, including but not limited to the following: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
- Assist with orders for procurement of saleable MMC and/or RMS supplies.
- Assist State and Local Government Auditors and Law Enforcement with inventory, sales, and compliance audits when Manager is not present.
- Comply with company cash handling policies and perform verification for Manager’s daily cash management responsibilities as outlined in the company’s policy; ensure cash is accurately counted and recorded.
- Maintain a culture of high-quality customer service, patient communication, and customer service issue/complaint resolution.

- Help team assist patients with understanding “care-giving” benefits and add patients as necessary (MMC Only).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations ensures compliance with all Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program rules and regulations governing the Act, and directly supervises the activity within the dispensary to include dispensary staff training and education in the absence of the Manager and as directed.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations provides management and leadership in the Dispensing Facility to include monitoring all point of sale transactions.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations manages patient specific logs as required, the receipt, storage and auditing of all inventory, and is responsible for ordering new inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records using BioTrackTHC, the Dispensing Facility’s inventory tracking software program.
- As the responsible party at the Dispensing Facility, this position resolves all inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts.
- The Supervisor, Retail Operations is responsible for the development of the Dispensing Facility’s privacy policies and procedures, the security and confidentiality of all patient information, as well as overall compliance with HIPAA.
- This position acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team and the Manager, and externally between the Dispensing Facility and law enforcement, Commissioner of Health, and the local community.
- Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the plan, consistent with established and safety procedures.

JOB PURPOSE:
Assist Manager in all managerial duties and responsibilities. Summary

QualificationsEducation

Training
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily revenue, cash and credit card management, reconciliation and reporting
- Lead the creation of department policies and procedures
- Facilitate monthly accounting close including the preparation and management of balance sheet reconciliation and work papers
- Prepare, analyze and distribute monthly financial statements and financial package
- Prepares analysis of the financial results of the company’s operations and cash flows
- Prepares and maintains a rolling 3-month cash flow projection
- Manages the annual external audit and annual income tax return preparation
- Assists internal personnel and external tax advisors in preparation of federal and state income tax, sales & use and excise taxes.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and variance analysis.
