Homestead Gardens’ Horticultural Supply Division caters to landscape contractors, builders and municipalities in the DC-Baltimore region. Our production department has an immediate job opportunity for a Nursery Production Head Grower ("Head Grower").
The Head Grower coordinates the available physical and inventories and resources of plant materials of the greenhouse production department to produce top quality plants for wholesale and retail sales. Also directs the work of the production crew supervisors and propagator.
. Requirements:- Oversees the day-to-day operation of the production area.
- Assist in the development and administration of an annual department budget
- Place orders for materials and supplies.
- Generate growing plans and schedules.
- Coordinate shipping of plant materials.
- Monitor operations of the physical plant; see that repairs are made as needed.
- Work with Category and Department Managers to determine needs for the upcoming season and to stay current with the needs and requests of the customers.
- Keep informed and up to date of new techniques and products and make recommendations for changes in growing practices, product mix, physical plant and personnel.
- Participate with industry associations and travel and attend shows to further your knowledge of industry trends.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Develop and ensure the adherence of department policies and procedures.
- Recruit, train, develop and communicate with all staff and seasonal help. Assess performance on a regular basis
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, reaching and bending
- Stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Working outdoors during inclement weather across all season
Qualifications/Education/Experience
- Horticulture degree, working knowledge of propagation.
- Three years of supervisory experience, preferably in the green industry.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Dispensary Team Member, you will welcome customers and assist with assessing their needs by providing guidance on product and pricing information. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Welcome visitors and customers by warmly greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answer or direct inquiries through proper channels when needed.
- Accurately process payments from customers, issue receipts, refunds, credits, and for cash customers, change.
- Establish or identify the price of goods, tabulates bills using calculators, cash registers, and optical price scanners.
- Operate a cash register and itemize and total purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment.
- Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license numbers; operates credit card authorization system.
- Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate business for our products.
- Report for work on all assigned workdays and report on time with a positive attendance record.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain a Dispensary Agent Card
- Experience in retail and customer service
- Cash handling experience is preferred.

We are looking for a Retail Report Developer / Data Analyst in the Boca Raton, FL area to join our awesome team! The Retail Report Developer / Data Analyst designs, develops, maintains, maps, reports, analyzes requirements and needs, while preserving springbig’s consistency, and quality output. The working environment is fast-paced with high expectations, requiring your strong commitment, communications, and work ethic. Strong SQL and Stored Procedure skills are required. The Retail Report Developer / Data Analyst builds and maintains internal and external reports requirements and query retention and application.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Studies, Horticulture, or a similar field
