This job description is for the role of Sales Representative for Drops, LLC. There is a 1 month training period for this position.
The primary responsibilities of a Sales Representative are the following:
Learning the Sales Pitch:
Sales Representatives must be experts on the products they are selling. First and foremost, reps must understand the key selling points of a given product and be able to explain them clearly and concisely. Reps must understand the nuances of our products well enough that they can answer impromptu questions with confidence and detail.
Reps must understand all facets of our company processes, from the farming practices we employ to the way our ingredients are extracted to regulatory compliance and all correspond- ing terminology.
Reps must also be perceptive in determining the interests of each customer and modify their sales pitches on an individual basis.
Managing Customer Relationships and Communications:
Each Sales Representative is responsible for managing a large geographical territory of roughly 130 dispensaries. Reps must nurture relationships and maintain consistent communication with each of these dispensaries. Reps are expected to visit in-person an average of 40 stores per week, in addition to solicitations by phone and email.
Reps must observe trends, maintain detailed notes, and think creatively about ways to improve sales and morale at each dispensary.
Following Procedures:
Reps must follow proper procedures with regard to deliveries, regulatory compliance, and handling of cash payments. This means understanding company policy as well as DCC cannabis regulations.

- Administration and management of Payroll platform for all employees

RECEPTIONIST
The Receptionist is responsible for the execution of daily tasks and activities to ensure operations are consistent with company goals and objectives. The Receptionist will coordinate with Depot Staff, Drivers, Dispatch, and Customer Support to troubleshoot operational issues. They will also perform other operational duties as directed by the Depot Manager and Fleet Manager as necessary. The Receptionist will report directly to the Depot Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- DAILY OPERATIONS: Oversee the cameras to ensure the smooth execution of driver arrival and departure. Notify the depot personnel via walkie talkie on driver arrival/departure. Open the security gate to allow drivers in and out. Provide relief coverage for operational duties when Depot Staff is on break/lunch if necessary.
- DOCUMENTATION/COMMUNICATION: Document and communicate incidents that concern depot operations and Driver/Depot Staff.
Other responsibilities:
- Monitor communications systems (Slack, Zendesk, depot phone, driver phone, email) for important delivery and depot updates
- Assist in work environment upkeep

Physical Requirements: Essential functions require working in a hot and cold warehouse setting. Work Location and Schedule: This is a non-exempt position with a 40-hour work week and occasional mandatory overtime hours. The Shift Supervisor (SS) is responsible for the execution of daily tasks and activities to ensure operations are consistent with company goals and objectives. The SS will directly train the Depot Staff so all positions function as designed and create operational consistency from day to day. They will coordinate with Depot Staff, Drivers, Dispatch, and Customer Support to troubleshoot customer service/delivery issues. They will oversee: Depot Staff lunch schedules, logging critical incidents, communicating issues to the management team, and monitor driver and depot staff productivity. They will also perform other operational duties as directed by the Depot Manager (DM). The SS’s will report directly to the DM.
Responsibilities include:
- DAILY OPERATIONS: Oversee the smooth execution of daily operations. Ensure workstations are properly set up and staffed. Provide relief coverage for operational duties when Depot Staff is on break/lunch. Responsible for closing procedures.
- DOCUMENTATION/COMMUNICATION: Document and communicate incidents that concern depot operations and Driver/Depot Staff performance such as: tardiness, missed shifts, inconsistent inventory numbers, substandard or exemplary behavior/work effort, delivery issues, and depot infrastructure (leaks, printers, internet, etc.).
- STAFF TRAINING: Ensure Depot Staff/Drivers are trained, competent and consistent in execution of their responsibilities. Create understanding of how staff work relates to the operation.
Other responsibilities:
- Ensure lunch breaks are being properly documented and taken by Depot Staff/Drivers
- Monitor communications systems (Slack, Zendesk, depot phone, driver phone, email)
- Supervise work environment upkeep
- Communicate depot supply needs to depot management via depot supply sheet
- Ensure all drivers have a GPS and it’s on, and troubleshoot if a GPS isn’t working
- Ensure Depot Staff/Drivers clock in/out correctly
- Ensure all money pouches and staff sales are secured and accounted for in the safe at the end of the night
- Special projects as capacity allows per manager’s approval
- Any other tasks asked of management
Qualifications and skills required
- Retail or hospitality experience in a high-demand environment
- Microsoft Office competence
- Experience with POS and inventory systems
- Past cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
- Must be age 21 to work in a dispensary per state law

Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Depot Staff conducts various daily operations functions within the warehouse.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately packing individual customer orders and/or building inventory cases
- Assisting in excellent customer service for our drivers
- Understanding cannabis regulations relevant for handling product and other depot functions
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of inventory & driver room
- Ensure drivers leave with the delivery tools they need to make them successful and compliant
- Monitoring Depot Phone
- Monitoring dispatch tools to see if all drivers are on the road, delivering, and their apps are working correctly
- Assisting in properly filling out all driver sheets
- Assisting in inventory count
- Assisting in inventory receiving on occasion
- Monitoring regular slack communications
- Light lifting: receiving of Amazon or Costco purchases and distributing purchases to necessary departments
- Assist in monitoring of foot traffic in and out of the building
- Maintaining quality work and effectively and efficiently utilizing your time on the job
- Following all the protocol, procedures, and guidelines in place
- Assisting in maintaining updated, current, driver paperwork
- Attending all necessary Depot and All Hands meetings

RECEPTIONIST

Summary
Accounts Receivable Specialist executes daily processing and posting of customer payments, ensuring payment processing is accurate and tracked. Executes filing, scanning, and providing invoice copies to customers and sales team. The Lead Guide provides exceptional service and a high-quality experience for the Surterra Wellness customer. Duties and Responsibilities:
Service
- Prioritize time and energies in store to join the staff on the selling floor; coaching and developing the team; and leading by example.
- Positive representative of the Surterra Wellness brand delivering the full Surterra Wellness customer service experience, catering to the customers' needs.
- Work in collaboration with Manager to enhance company culture by celebrating training successes and encouraging continued education through positive reinforcement and team building.
- Develops knowledge of trends in industry to provide the best service possible and share with the team.
- Responds to all customer concerns and acts when necessary to resolve conflicts.
- Serves as a role-model and resource for store staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
Operations
- Fulfill Manager on Duty responsibilities, including all opening and closing responsibilities, banking responsibilities, managing down time to be productive, maintaining cleanliness standards
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Immediately report any variances to a Manager or the HR team.
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable state and local laws, as well as documentation processes in accordance with the State of Florida Office of Compassionate Use.
- Maintain caregiver paperwork in accordance with the State of Florida, maintain tracking in system and communicating changes to physicians.
- Completes opening and closing responsibilities accurately and efficiently and ensures cash handling standards are met and company funds are secured.
- Assists in execution of visual displays, merchandising and marketing standards ensuring the store is consistently replenished.
- Assists in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as assigned.
- Assists with non-sell tasks as assigned by Management and as part of the daily responsibilities.
- Use the POS accurately and train all Guides on POS in addition to other operational tasks.
- Arrives to work on time and consistently follows the Surterra Wellness personal appearance guidelines.
- Follows all safety and emergency procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Leadership
- Contributes to a productive and dynamic environment by connecting with employees, customers, and the community.
- Acts with professionalism and respect in all interactions with customers, co-workers, Manager and team, and always ensuring customer service standards are met and prioritized and the sales floor is a welcoming environment.
Education
- Closely monitor, educate, and coach all new team members during their first two weeks.
- Provide coaching and education to all team members on product and cannabis knowledge.
- Provide training to ensure all store processes align with SOP's and safe practices.
- Collaborate with Managers to evaluate and review strengths and opportunities for new and existing team members. Assist Managers in developing a plan to improve performance.
- Provide information to Manager regarding team completion of assigned GZ courses.
- Provide feedback to Training Team and make recommendations for future development and/or current program improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Age 21 or over (Required)

- 2 years retail experience, previous sales experience (Required)

Role: Packaging Technician
This candidate will be trained on all machinery and processes associated with the packaging of all flower products including bulk flower and pre-rolls. Responsibilities:
*Package plant material into proper containers/packaging with proper labeling to ensure compliance with customer requirements and state regulations *Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product *Meet and exceed productivity goals set by supervisor *Work well independently and alongside others *Intake of packaging components *Weighing, sorting and inputting data for bulk flower preparation *Filling, labeling, sealing, capping, and case packing *Conduct quality assurance audits and control procedures *Execute daily equipment maintenance *Execute daily/weekly sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas *Perform weekly site maintenance *Contribute to a positive environment by being respectful, inclusive, open-minded, and self-motivated *Additional duties as assigned

We currently have an immediate opening for an Inventory Analyst who supports the mission-critical role of entering and maintaining inventory records. The position ensures all production is properly and accurately tracked in Company & State inventory management systems. Conducts daily weighs of processor output and consolidates batches in METRC. Supports and ensures inventory goals are achieved and accurately tracked and supports other operations as needed.
The position requires a proactive, hands-on approach, strong arithmetic and mathematical skills and accuracy with the willingness to be flexible and do what it takes to keep the business operating in compliance. Has exceptional attention to detail and ensures fidelity of all data entered.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Accurately weighs processed cannabis flowers and inputs weight into corresponding Google Sheets daily.
- Visually inspect all processed products each day to ensure appropriate quality, size, and grades meet Henry’s Original Standards. Returns any product that doesn’t meet Henry’s Original Standards to the appropriate processor to be redone.
- Perform daily consolidation of all grades of processed Cannabis Flower by Harvest, Farm, and Strain.
- Ensure all processed product is accurately represented in electronic inventory and METRC.
- Place all processed Grade A product into vault and ensure vault is locked at the end of each workday.
- Works with Production and Inventory Manager to research and verify/fix any duplicate and mislabeled totes.
- Perform monthly audits and reconciliation of all processed products.
- Performs other duties as needed. This position will also work all cultivation job tasks and post-harvest jobs as needed.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong data input skills (speed and accuracy)
- Strong computer skills including; METRC, Excel and GSuite are strongly preferred
- Thorough understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the operation.

The Production Supervisor is a mission-critical role that requires a proactive, hands-on approach to manage all daily processing and product creation workflow for harvest and post-harvest processing and inventory control management. The position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of a very large legalized cannabis processing facility and maintaining a smooth workflow.
Assists in overseeing and supervising of people perform all the tasks necessary to process wet harvested cannabis into post-harvest products. Ensures oversees and maintains quality control measures to ensure high-quality standards are met. Ensures employees are trained to perform the role and then follows up to ensure work is completed to company standards.Responsibilities
- Supervises all processing employees to perform the tasks necessary to process products for market and ensure that products meet company quality standards.
- Ensures strict inventory records of all plant material and dry goods are documented and reported accurately in METRC and Company Inventory Management System.
- Data entry and record-keeping
- Creates daily, weekly and monthly production schedules and calculates processing requirements.
- Ensures Company policies and procedures are followed and performed.
- Ensures that the production schedules and manpower requirements are properly met, monitored and that work is being performed efficiently.
- Ensures processing operation is fully compliant with state regulations.
- Ensures that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements.
- Orders supplies and assists in managing inventory.
- Performs daily housekeeping & walkthroughs to ensure work environment is maintained orderly, clean and safe.
- Follows company Standard Operating Procedures and assist with developing SOPs as needed
- Perform administrative duties to meet operational needs to include, but not limited to approving payroll hours, new hire paperwork, time off requests, and creating identification badges.
- Provides new hire SOP training to new employees.
- Fields employee questions and concerns and provides information or directs to appropriate channels.
- Ensures operation is secure, open and closing duties.
- Develops effective relationships with department managers and staff
- Responsible for ensuring equitable treatment of all employees within a business context
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supervising a manufacturing process, cannabis experience is preferred.
- Capabilities with computer systems, METRC, Excel and GSuite strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate in a respectful manner
- Strong mathematical and arithmetic skills and attention to detail required
- Effective time-management and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is a plus.
- Ability to understand and comply with applicable quality and safety regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate results
- Ability to be organized and efficient & maintain a clean workspace
- Ability to follow directions and company procedures
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly

We currently have an immediate opening for a Production and Inventory Control Manager who leads a mission-critical role that requires a proactive, hands-on approach to manage all daily processing and product creation workflow for harvest and post-harvest processing and inventory control management.
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for managing and coordinating all post-harvest production and product creation operations for Henry’s Original. This position will be located at our Cotati office, with weekly visits to our Laytonville facilities and co-packers throughout the Bay Area.
The Director of Supply Chain works closely with the Director of Sales, Purchasing Manager and Cultivation Processing leadership to develop supply chain planning for current and future needs of the company to enable growth, and ensuring that the supplier and logistics networks are robust and flexible enough to meet those needs of the company. Develops inventory demand projections based on sales goals and ensures inventory, the coordination of shipping and receiving of all shipping, logistics and delivery of cannabis and non-cannabis products are completed with speed, quality and cost effectiveness.
Essential Duties
- Develops effective KPIs for supply chain processes and communicates performance to plan with staff and senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Manages all supply chain activities, from post-harvest processing to product delivery, with an eye for speed, cost effectiveness, intelligent processes, and flexibility.
- Continuously predict demand and automatically adjust product allocations and service deliveries to support company and customer needs.
- Coordinates and schedules pickups and deliveries of bulk finished or work-in-progress cannabis goods from Henry’s processing facilities or co-packers.
- Ensures monthly cycle counts are completed timely and accurately. Proactively notifies Purchasing Manager before inventory levels fall below PAR and anticipates shortages.
- Manages and monitors real time inventory levels and initiatives work order process to production team and co-packers in a timely manner.
- Manages the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring alignment of demand plan.
- Builds efficiency into the procurement and warehouse functions as the company scales, to identify solutions to deliver cost savings in the operations
- Collaborates with Sales and Operations to ensure that multi-functional plans and goals are achieved. Coordinates and updates inventory demand planning system with Director of Sales updating, reviewing and assuring accuracy of Inventory and Production tracking system.
- Completes monthly reports detailing inventory and work order transitions, successes and issues with recommendations on how to improve workflow and effectiveness.
- Communicates proactively regarding progress and daily issues to ensure that the desired results are achieved.
- Proactively manages relationships and schedules with 3rd party co packers and other logistics solutions providers to drive warehousing and shipping process efficiency and cost savings.
- Develops work orders for product creation and coordinates production schedule with co-packers and Henry’s production team.
- Schedules, controls and deploys vehicles, drivers and deliveries to designated locations.
- Schedules shipping and receiving of non-cannabis products. Initiates orders based on inventory levels and demand planning.
- Hires, trains, develops, motivates, disciplines, and rewards staff members, aligning them to the overall company goals.
- Performs other duties as needed to drive business success.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Economics, or a field relevant to Supply Chain Management
- At least seven years of experience in some or all aspects of supply chain management (i.e., sourcing, procurement, logistics, distribution, warehousing, contracting, e-commerce, transportation, returns and customer satisfaction)
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including creating a vision that motivates teammates
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
- Ability to solve problems creatively and meet timelines
- Ability to foster creativity in a fast moving, dynamic environment and open to change
- Integrity to prioritize developing and maintaining fair and honest relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
- Ability to prioritize effectively to spend time on issues and projects that will create the most impact for the business
