Job Description
A Budtender is the first line of contact with customers, as such they need to be extremely friendly and personable with customers. Each Budtender will interact one-on-one with individual customers or customer groups to discuss products and answer a variety of questions. Everyone working within one of our retail stores must have extensive product knowledge and ability to continually learn about new products. You will also help to maintain the sales floor, display cases, waiting room, and storage areas, which includes basic cleaning.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Bring product from safe room to set up sales floor, restock items, break down and move product to safe room at the end of the day.
- Sticker and label new inventory
- Use software and tablets for COVA point-of-sale/inventory system, process payments, make change, assure labeling compliance on sold products before customer leaves.
- Use Dutchie software and ticket system for online orders, prepare orders for pick-up.
- Administer rewards programs and associated software applications, enroll customers, process points for redemption.
- Verifying age and review IDs to assurance validity and compliance with marijuana laws
- Help ensure a safe and positive working environment.

Compensation:
The current wage range for this opening is $14.00 - $18.00. Benefits for full-time employees include eligibility to enroll in the company health, dental, and vision group insurance plans, paid sick leave, and PTO.

Essential Duties
Customer and Patient Satisfaction
- Responsible for achieving sales goals by providing best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customer鈥檚 and patent鈥檚 expectations.

Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- One or more years of work experience in a related industry or work environment preferred.
- Six months to one year of experience in retail required.
- Oral and written communication capabilities.
- Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management.
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic.

General description:
A budtender is responsible for understanding and implementing the retail marijuana program that the State of Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) has created. In doing so, the budtender will follow all laws and maintain compliance within the state guidelines. For this level of budtending, basic understanding of products should exist and furthermore the budtender is open to gain information during training.
Additionally, a budtender is also the first face many people see when they are introduced to our company. It is important to interface with the customers and understand how to give world class customer service by actively listening and adjusting for customers who may need a little extra time.
Qualifications:
路 Must hold an employee badge from Colorado Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED).
路 Must be 21+ years old
路 Must be able to lift 10 lbs.
路 Must be able to stand for long periods of time
路 Basic computer skills
路 Introductory level knowledge of cannabis
路 Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with admin staff, vendors, fellow budtenders, management, delivery drivers and possible authority figures. (Local PD, MED agents, etc.)
Responsibilities:
路 Verifying proper identification from customers
路 Weighing and packaging and labeling cannabis products per the MED guidelines
路 Verify that there is a blue tag with products
路 Processing customer payments using the dispensary鈥檚 Point of Sale system. (Flowhub)
路 Accurately ringing in retail products on Flowhub to maintain correct inventory tracking
路 Utilizing the software that the dispensary uses for timeclock, product information, etc.
路 Assisting customers with any inquiries
路 Keep up to date with new products and regulations
路 Store sanitation
路 Assisting with restocking when necessary
路 Communicate with the team (e.g., returning emails and texts, asking for help, giving input)
路 Any other tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor or management team
Commitment Expectations:
路 Full-time (36+ hours/week)
路 Overtime (only when required or authorized)
路 Weekends and holidays (Open 365 days/year)
