Community Access Services is a nonprofit organization that provides residential and employment services to adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), who live and work in local communities.
As a Job Coach at CAS, you will work one-on-one with a small caseload of adults who experience varying degrees of disability, supporting them in their jobs in multiple work/employment settings. You will be connected to a team of Employment Specialists, so you will be supported too. We also believe deeply in continuing education and professional development, and will connect you with trainings and opportunities to grow in this field.
Responsibilities for this position include providing on-site job training and support to individuals in their workplace regarding job duties, policies and procedures in collaboration with the employer, communicating with the worker's employers, supervisors, and co-workers, documentation of job coaching service provided, generation of monthly status reports, and working as part of a team to develop and update each worker's individual support plan. The goal of the Job Coach is to provide as much support as indicated, including fading techniques, so that the worker may become independent in their workplace.
This position is full-time and requires flexibility in work schedule. Work schedules will vary based on anticipated caseload changes. In addition to CAS' minimum requirements, this position requires two years of previous experience working with people who experience disability, proficiency using Microsoft Office, and experience in teaching or training.

- Must have reliable transportation and qualify as a company driver
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen (excludes cannabis)

Community Access Services is a nonprofit organization that provides residential and employment services to individuals who experience Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities who live and work in our community.
We are currently seeking to hire Roving Direct Support Professionals to work in the homes of individuals living in Columbia County. Many of the individuals we serve are medically involved and require a significant level of supportive care in order to pursue the things in life that are important to them. Roving DSPs provide personal care involving all activities of daily living, accompany individuals in their community activities, and provide other cares necessary to promote the well being of the supported person.
Applicants must have flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including swing shifts, overnights, and weekends. Applicants must also have a reliable means of transportation. The Roving DSP position start at $16.75 per hour and requires experience in caregiving and/or experience in supporting people who experience developmental disability.
Minimum requirements for employment with CAS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a minimum of one year of experience
- Must be able to qualify as a company driver (Licensed at least 2 years with no more then 3 driving infractions in a 3 year period)
- Must be comfortable working in a home where a pet resides
- Must pass criminal background check and pass pre-employment drug screen, excludes cannabis
