Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Manager. The Production Supervisor works to ensure that production schedules are met and packaging flow is streamlined.
The Production Supervisor determines the work schedule based on production and purchase orders and the availability of raw materials and production capacity as directed. The Production Supervisor oversees the quality of all outbound and inbound goods to and from manufacturing partners. Coordinators work with purchasing to ensure that production materials are available and adjust the schedule when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor product quality and ensure activities meet the requirements
- Provide input and assistance to Operations Business Manager
- Complete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports
- Assist, plan and execute the production schedules
- Conduct safety and orientation training with new employees
- Recommend and implement measures to improve productivity, performance, product quality, methods, working conditions, and efficiencies
- Communicate shift activity to personal and keep them informed of the changes to the equipment, processes and material supplies
- Work with other leaders to coordinate workflow and coordinate the allocation of resources between shifts and departments
- Meet supply chain objectives and packaging requirements
- Assists destruction of substandard batches, as authorized by supervisor.
- Perform complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies monthly.
- Work in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted information
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Provide general support to visitors
- Prepare product shipments, including the review of internal material travelers and related documents to authorization of shipments
- Support the Shipping and Delivery Department as needed with product movement
- Support the Marketing department as needed with event coordination
- Support the Marketing department as needed with marketing materials
- Provide outstanding service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.
- Support the Business Operations Manager for all on-site compliance and regulatory needs
Skills:
- Willing and able to work in a variety of areas (plant, warehouse, co-packer facility)
- Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting for extended periods
- Willing and able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions
- Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
- Willing and able to work shift work including weekends and nights and overtime to meet production demands as needed
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work

Qualifications and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED and two years or more of related work experience
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Work related travel -10 – 25 %
- Fluent bilingual (Spanish + English) a plus
Physical Requirements / Work Conditions:
- Able to work independently with little to no supervision
- Normal exposure to an office environment with occasional exposure to warehouse and manufacturing environments. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Periodic physical activity requires walking, climbing, bending, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and stooping
- Travel as needed

JOB TITLE: Lab Sampler/ Driver
Encore Labs is seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time employee based out of Northern California area who enjoys being on the road and networking.
The hired individual will need to be available for a two week paid training in the Los Angeles area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Drive to client's distribution and cultivation locations to collect cannabis samples for lab testing
- Follow laboratory's standard operating procedures

- Collect payments from clients
- Organize and record inventory of supplies needed to complete pick ups
