The Pharmacist at Curaleaf is responsible for providing an outstanding patient experience while maximizing revenue goals, leading the management & development of the dispensary staff and ensuring compliance with all inventory, security, and system protocols in the absence of the Dispensary Manager.
The Pharmacist is also responsible for forecasting inventory levels, ordering & receiving the product, and maintaining accurate systems for regulatory reporting and sales analysis. This sales-oriented individual should be passionate about the benefits of medical cannabis and making a difference in our patients' lives.
The Pharmacist will fill in on an as-needed basis to develop, document and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support performance and results-driven culture.
Essential functions:
- Drive retail sales and patient retention
- Maintain all store operational standards
- Oversee inventory standards are maintained on site.
- Ensure cash receipts are reconciled
- Operate POS and corresponding systems
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state laws
- Maintains a safe, clean environment for patients and employees
- Maintain patient confidentiality

- Directly supervise all activity within the facility
Patient Care:
- Assist patients with their questions, problems, and complaints
- Handle all patient related issues in accordance with company policy
- Promote a positive experience for all patients
- Direct and oversee all patient interactions and provide clinical counseling
- Coordinate with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes
Manage dispensary employees:
- Lead the team and work effectively with dispensary employees
- Schedule, supervise, assign and direct activities of employees
- Communicate information to employees in an open and timely manner
- Coach and execute counseling discussions with store employees
- Conduct performance appraisals for all directly assigned personnel and monitor and manage to expectations
- Ensure on-the-job safety of all employees and treatment for employee injuries sustained on the job
Patient and Physician Outreach:
- Organize and lead guest tours, and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, politicians and professionals in the community that we serve
- Provide ongoing education and outreach programs relating to medical cannabis for the benefit of member patients
- Coordinate on the success of promotions, coupon and recommend future promotions and sales
- Measure customer satisfaction through surveys and interviews
- Responsible for the preparation of content for all educational materials and presentations
Cannabis knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, and side effects
- Understand the efficacy of variance strains, potencies, and methods of delivery
Qualifications:
- Certified Registered Connecticut State Pharmacist
- Pharmacy experience a plus
- Experience working in a heavily regulated industry necessary
- Strong leadership skills, ability to build and manage teams
- Subject to background check, per state cannabis regulations
Hiring range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

The Security Officer works within Curaleaf's Security Team and is responsible for ensuring company facilities, employees, patients and products are well secured in accordance with established procedures and policies. The Security Officer is responsible for conducting security checks, viewing security monitors, and reporting significant problems to authorities, state regulators and Company leaders assigned as first point of contact. The Security Officer will also complete scheduled security reports and assist company personnel with special needs as needed. The Security Officer reports to the Director of Security.
Responsibilities
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment
- Inspecting building, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
- Responsible for managing employee access cards by activating new key cards and deactivating key cards when employees terminate from the company; setting proper access controls based on employee's role
- Participates in routine safety equipment checks to ensure security equipment is functioning properly and is regularly maintained, following manufacturer's instructions
- Inspects and adjusts security systems, equipment and machinery as needed to ensure operational use and detect evidence of tampering; troubleshoots malfunctions, calling for repairs as needed; evaluates new equipment and techniques
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, vendors and other persons, asking for appropriate documentation and/or authorization in order to stop suspicious people and guard against theft and maintaining security of premises
- Investigates and reports disturbances, hazards, and suspicious activities to local police for correction actions
- Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as security / surveillance equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences in a timely and accurate manner and within established protocols and guidelines
- Ensures reports, records and other documentation is accurate, complete, timely and in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Maintains company's stability and reputation by complying with local, state and federal laws and regulations
- Receives necessary information from onsite dispensary security guard pertaining to events that transpired during the shift
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years prior experience as a safety or security professional, law enforcement or military experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible FT/PT work schedule
- Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively
- Formal training in non-violent communication, conflict de-escalation and/or assertiveness
- Proven surveillance skills, attentive to detail
- Proactive in auditing security issues on a daily basis
- Knowledge of security equipment and devices and the operation thereof
- Demonstrated ability to implement security and safety procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff, patients and the public
- Assist in bank drops
- Training and certification in First Aid, and CPR preferred

I am ONLY hiring serious sales reps with significant work experience in merchant services/payment processing. Everyone will have a 3 month window to show what they can produce. If you do produce, you will be hitting 6 figures in under 100 days. Our best rep makes 600K a quarter!

Job purpose
This position works in a cannabis growing and processing business. The Garden Technician performs all daily tasks set forth by the Production Management to maintain plant health and rotations throughout plant life cycles. The Production department is responsible for all major labor movements such as transplanting, harvesting, tagging, trellising, lowers, spray application, spray equipment maintenance, cloning, and cleaning in addition to non-technical general plant maintenance. The department also is responsible for all watering, nutrient mixes, integrated pest management applications, identifying signs of poor plant health, and maintaining sterilization protocols.
General Duties and Responsibilities

- Performs daily tasks as directed by the Production Management
- Understands basic plant anatomy to perform plant maintenance techniques appropriate for each plant stage to maintain optimal growing conditions
- Has basic knowledge of plant health signs/symptoms
- Can maintain a fast work pace while performing strenuous activities
- Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment and properly following all sterilization protocols
- Safely operate all associated equipment such as pressure washer, push carts, pruners, etc.
- Identify and report to management any grow-house equipment or machinery that is not working properly
- Cut clones and propagate plants, as assigned
- Performs all transplants, plant spacing, and plant movements throughout the facility
- Washes nursery containers for reuse
- Inspect crops for any signs that might affect plant health including pest identification, nutrient imbalances, under/overwatering, and notify management or supervisors of any issues.
- Understand and implement daily watering techniques appropriate for each plant stage, maintaining optimal moisture levels and target nutrient concentrations in the growing media for each plant individually
- Prunes lower branches off plants without compromising plant health or yield
- Accurately measure and mix appropriate formulas for all plant stages and formula rotations as directed by Production management
- Operate multiple plumbing configurations and accessory equipment used in daily operations.
- Execute all spray applications, including using appropriate formula mixes and timing, as assigned
- Maintain spray equipment, as assigned
- Responsible for harvesting plants in preparation for drying and processing
- Familiarity and compliance with sections of WAC Chapter 314-55 applicable to job role
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Education, Experience, and Legal Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of first interview
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required to effectively perform the job
- Proven ability to delegate tasks; including training employees as needed
- Ability to pick up new concepts easily. Strong attention to detail, which includes the ability to accurately keep records
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility in changing roles and requirements during the day
- Understands the metric system of measurements
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with respect at all times (written and verbal)
- Ability to organize work within company parameters
- Work efficiently and effectively in a prioritized fashion

- Able and willing to work with plants – potting, harvesting, trellising, trimming, cleaning, etc.
Working Conditions
- Zen Asset Management facilities are open from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM Monday through Sunday, depending on the facility
- The normal work week is 40 hours, your supervisor will explain your positional schedule and what schedule variances might happen in the course of business
- Most work is conducted in a warehouse-type environment in which warmer or cooler than normal temperatures may exist, with sometimes humid conditions, depending on the department
- Cannabis odor present in varying degrees
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand in one place for long periods of time
- Must be able to periodically work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to concentrate on a detailed task for long periods of time
- The ability to periodically lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
