Essential Responsibilities and Duties: - Provide patients with an outstanding experience during their visit- Act as the gate keeper for the front door only allowing in patients who present with a medical marijuana card or caregiver card along with government issued photo identification- Review patient’s government issued identification and medical marijuana card to validate patient’s identity.- Check in patients into the seed to sale tracking system- Create patient charts and facilitate paperwork completion- Enter patient information into an electronic health record- Answer phones and provide basic information to patients- Schedule patient appointments and maintain daily/ weekly consult schedule- Take patient orders via the phone, reduce to writing and supply to sales team- Walk patients back to waiting room and deliver patient chart to pharmacist- Assist with basic cleaning and housekeeping duties- Assist with end of day inventory counts and reconciliation- Assist with end of day cash balancing and financial reporting- Follow all DHSS Medical Marijuana regulations- Other duties / responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Qualification Requirements: - To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential responsibility and duty satisfactorily.- Minimum age of 18 years old- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a state and federal criminal background check
Education/ Experience: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus one-year experience in retail or healthcare or hospitality/ service industry.
Language Skills: - Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, employee handbook and other company documents.- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently- Ability to alphabetize documents
Math Skills: - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

We are a fast growing cannabis company and hiring General Manager's for new dispensaries opening in Missouri! A dispensary GM is the captain of the ship! They can confidently manage staff, offering leadership skills to help them thrive and succeed in a busy fast-paced retail environment. The General Manager is passionate about cannabis, knowledgeable about company policy and procedures with respect to the overall retail operations department. Responsible to drive store sales to meet/exceed budget and profitability goals by managing the day to day operation of the store. Responsible with developing top talent that is in line with our culture and brand, communicating company vision, voice and strategy, and drive unique patient customer service. The General Manager thrives on creating a team environment by providing knowledgeable information to staff and patients at all times. The GM is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations in accordance with the State of Missouri and standards set by Company. The GM provides support to all Cashiers, Dispensary Agents and Patient Coordinators which includes: scheduling, training, providing policy and procedure updates, keeping updated with industry news and product information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for managing dispensary staff, schedules, inventory and patient relations;
· Serves as a role model and resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations;
· Responds to all agent questions, concerns or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts
· Responsible for delegating tasks to Cashiers, Dispensary Agents and Patient Coordinators in order to maintain a compliant and clean facility; and
· Coordinates with the upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff.
· Thoroughly understand your job duties and responsibilities with opening and closing procedures and cash handling
· Represent Company policies and procedures with the highest dignity, integrity and professionalism
· Check with Inventory Team for new product received and any conversion needs.
· Minimize loss by ensuring all loss prevention procedures are adhered too, immediately report all theft
· Ensure menus match with real-time inventory
· Assist Inventory Control Manager for stockroom processing and replenishment procedures, ensures that all inventory management processes are performed in a timely manner
· Maintaining awareness of market trends in the accessory industry
· Strong ability to communicate and demonstrate the proper ways in which our team members should sell to our patients. This includes but is not limited to:
- Greetings
- Ability to create rapport with patients
- Menu Knowledge
- Strain Knowledge
· Ability to survey your team and give constructive criticism on ways to better engage
· Perform other duties as assigned

The Herbalist medical cannabis dispensaries are located in Kennett, MO and Jackson, MO. We are looking to hire a Manager, Assistant Manager, and Bud Tenders for our Kennett location and an Assistant Manager and Bud Tenders at our Jackson location. This is a great opportunity to break into the rapidly growing cannabis industry with a growth-oriented start-up.
Ideal candidates will be self-motivators with strong computer skills, retail experience, POS system experience, inventory management skills, basic understanding of accounting, and be felony free (per State regulations). Candidates applying must be comfortable in managing a team of up to six, performing opening and closing duties, conducting inventory audits. Basic understanding of medical cannabis is preferred but not required. The Herbalist will provide online Healer Certification to all employees. Pay is commensurate with experience.
