Responsibilities include:

- Stay up-to-date on products and services, being able to properly assist customers to find the product that suits their needs, and answer any questions they may have

-Manage, diffuse, and resolve customer disputes, complaints, and issues to the best of your ability

- Light cleaning duties

- Using the POS system to complete transactions

-Provide friendly, positive customer service

-Sticker/restock inventory as needed, as well as communicate inventory needs to the manager

Job Description:

Sales Associates at any of our locations are key in helping us continue to deliver a compassionate cannabis experience. We are looking for folks who are passionate about cannabis education and want to help us move the dial forward on building an inclusive, fun cannabis culture.

To be successful in this role, you'll want to bring a wealth of customer experience to the table and either a passion for, or genuine curiosity about cannabis. This is a particularly nuanced industry so we specifically look for Sales Associates that can navigate the in's and out's of partnering with our customers to support them in landing on the best products for their needs.

We want to make sure customers are getting exactly what they need. This means we expect Sales Associates to be punctual, reliable, and work to communicate effectively with their managers and colleagues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Educates customers on store offerings and new product
• Provides a friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service experience for our customers
• Ability to connect with a diverse spectrum of clients and customers
• Accurately processes Point of Sale transactions
• Always keeps store clean, organized, and customer ready
• Effectively communicates with team members and Store Manager to solve problems and improve service
• Supports a positive work environment
• Adheres to company protocols for cash control, inventory management, and procedures

• 2+ years' experience in retail, service, or hospitality
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to 'fill in' and work in various capacities based on business needs, e.g. on a sales floor

• Hold a valid Marijuana's Handlers Permit
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations required for working in the retail cannabis space
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit and kneel daily in retail and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors and, in some instances, staircases
• Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
• Ability to maintain focus and memory in environments with distractions such as heavy foot traffic, background noise due to public conversations and the gathering of people, etc.
• Absent conditions that would prevent the occasional use of PPE such as safety glasses, dust masks, etc.
• Ability to sit at a desk and work at a computer for several contiguous hours
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle for several hours contiguously
