A shift leader is responsible for supporting the store leadership team in the absence of a manager on the sales floor. The person in this role is expected to be a constant presence on the sales floor, with their primary duties consisting of supervising store staff, ensuring the highest level of customer service/engagement and selling. They should be setting the pace and energy on the sales floor at all times. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist Management with generating sales potential by utilizing sale items (and encouraging staff to do the same), educating/informing patients about products (and encouraging staff to do the same), utilizing and encouraging upselling opportunities among themselves and other staff. Encouraging and increasing KPl's for themselves and other staff, and other methods (within scope of authorization)
- Demonstrate effective and timely written and verbal communication skills
- Ensure customer service is the #1 priority
- Effectively supervise the sales floor to ensure patient/staff awareness at all times
- Provide relevant and timely feedback, coaching, and redirection in the core areas of customer engagement, selling, and sales floor etiquette
- Escalate performance concerns to upper management immediately
- Maintain dispensary appearance to reflect company standards
- Treat staff professionally, courteously and respectfully
- Participate in the training and developing staff while on the sales floor
- Partner with staff in order to achieve sales goals with tools provided by management
- Offer outstanding customer service
- Assist in keeping the dispensary clean and organized
- Perform all point of sale tasks, including counting cash and patient purchases.

The Assistant Manager works in conjunction with the General Manager to accomplish the daily operations of the business. The primary focus of the Assistant Manager is to ensure that all patients are provided exemplary customer service. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in the supervision of all on-site staff, ensuring operations are compliant and oversight of inventory and cash. In the absence of the General Manager, the Assistant Manager steps in to oversee the daily operations of the business. The Assistant Manager reports directly to the General Manager (and/or the Director of Operations in their absence).
The Assistant Manager is responsible for their staff’s, and their own, strict adherence to legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the General Manager to manage scheduling and shift times for optimal operations
- Works closely with Senior Management and the retail team to ensure successful implementation and adherence of SOP’s regarding incoming product and organization
- Organizes and leads regular staff meetings with personnel to communicate changes and ensure successful operations and compliance
- Sets meetings to check-in with personnel, receive feedback and communicate directives
- Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates responsibilities to the personnel to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the store
- Monitors staffing levels and communicates to the General Manager and the HR Department when hiring is needed and for what position(s)
- Reports daily sales in the POS system
- Works closely with the General Manger to ensure successful implementation and follow through of compliant procedures regarding inventory
- Oversees check-in of products in the POS system and physical inventory
- Manages product display and tags as needed to most accurately portray product availability to consumers
- Manages in-house inventory as needed, updates all menus online and in store and communicates to staff all changes
- Oversees cash handling, provides change to drawers when needed and reconciles the cash drawers at close each night both physically and in the POS
- Communicates directives from the General Manager to the entire personnel when appropriate
- Communicates product knowledge, changes, pricing and promotional sales to personnel at every shift meeting to ensure successful implementation and operations
- Interfaces with potential vendors and collaborators representing the brand in an honest, respectful and appropriate fashion
- Works with the education team to communicate product knowledge in a timely and effective manner to personnel and to train personnel on high level customer service
- Monitors personnel’s patient interactions to make sure high-level customer service and accurate product information is communicated
- Monitors personnel’s inventory processes and communicates any feedback if need be
- Provides consistent constructive feedback to personnel to ensure highest level of operations
- Communicates to General Manager if editing of SOP’s is needed
- Remains available for and receptive to feedback from staff, management and ownership teams
- Communicates appropriately, effectively, and timely in both in person and email communication

We're looking for a Lab Technician to join our Green Thumb team! This position is responsible for assisting with lab production, which includes but is not limited to distillation, extraction, winterization and production of cannabis infused products. Our ideal candidate for this role is familiar with standard laboratory practices and has previously worked in production laboratory environments. Cannabis is a highly regulated industry, so prior experience working with regulatory requirements and compliance, as well as workplace safety, is highly desirable. If you've previously worked in cannabis extraction and processing – even better!
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment and cannabis plant materials for extraction
- Operate intricate extraction equipment in accordance with Green Thumb SOPs
- Process cannabis concentrates and extracts
- Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
- Produce product per recipes and SOP's, maintaining high quality standards
- Clean and maintain extraction equipment and laboratory facility
- Store supplies and equipment, dispose of waste according to guidelines, and keep laboratory working areas sanitary and safe
- Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware
- Employee may also be responsible for monitoring production line and collecting samples for analysis.
- Follow SOP and standard analytical procedures to meet Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices compliance

Qualifications
- Associate or 4-year degree with relevant college courses in biology, chemistry, or physics required

The Cultivation Manager provides leadership for cultivation staff by maintaining the highest level of Temescal Wellness standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct a team of production associates, technical leads, and supervisors in a state-of-the-art medical cannabis cultivation and processing facility.
- Manage team on various production related tasks including but not limited to, media preparation, cloning, transplanting, feeding, irrigation, pruning, trimming, and packaging.
- Delegate tasks provided by senior managers appropriately and effectively
- On-going training/mentoring of cultivation team
- Assist in development and enforcement of approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Comply with program regulations as it relates to cultivation operations, including use of seed to sale software
- Uphold all standards and procedures pertaining to cultivation facility cleanliness
- Collaborate with senior managers to develop necessary long-range planning and scheduling and adhere to all Cultivation related schedules

Requirements
- A Degree in Horticulture, Greenhouse Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience actively managing commercial-scale Greenhouse, Floral, or Vegetable Crop Production experience required.
- Proven track record of successful Integrated Pest Management, Propagation, Fertigation/Irrigation, Force-Flowering, and Nutrition Management techniques.
- Skilled in general computer operating systems and applications, including greenhouse controls systems like ARGUS or DAMATEX

Human Resources:
· Collaborate with Senior Management regarding staffing requirements, recruitment and hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and shift times to build a team to deliver legendary customer service and patient care
· Approve/Deny and manage employees’ leave of absence and document leave of absence in the HRIS
· Responsible for continued employee professional development and appreciation.
· Works with Human Resources communicate product knowledge and high-level customer service training in a timely and effective manner to personnel
· Identify and address staff training and needs and do semi-annual evaluations to help them achieve their full potential and meet monthly targets
· Work with Human Resources to address problems related to staff’s performance, and address staff misconduct effectively at the lowest level

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Warmly greet and welcome each patient/guest/customer
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere for everyone in the store
- Assist customers by educating them about different products and uses
- Ensure every customer is aware of our promotions so they can get the best deal for their purchase
- Listening attentively to customers and recommending appropriate products that fit their needs
- Educating customers and guests on facility use, store policies, and regulations (depending on industry of client to which Patient Care Specialist is assigned)
- Ensure that storefront is sufficiently stocked and that products are correctly displayed, priced, and listed on menus
- Efficiently operate POS system, ATM terminals, and cash drawer in order to complete transactions and maintain accurate records
- Execute proper opening and closing procedures so that the store is well maintained for optimal operation
- Comply with Herbiculture’s policies, standards, and governing legislations
- Additional responsibilities specific to the patients/guests/customers to whom the Patient Care Specialist is assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 21 years of age as required by law
- High school diploma, or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in sales and/or customer service
- Ability to pass background check and drug test as required by law (positive marijuana test is acceptable if applicant is a Maryland certified medical cannabis patient)
- Comfortable with computers and other forms of technology

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Kitchen Technician is responsible for assisting in the cleaning and sanitation of equipment in the Production Kitchen workspace. Under the direction of the Kitchen Lead, the Production Kitchen Assistant may also assist with the production/packaging of infused edibles. Depending on Production needs, the Production Kitchen Technician may assist in other areas of the Lab, including Packaging and Fulfillment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning and sanitation of Kitchen Equipment including, trays, utensils, molds.
- Check and maintain temperature and concentration of sanitizer in 3-Compartment Sink, and Dishwasher
- Maintain Cleaning Logs associated with Kitchen Equipment
- Assist the Kitchen Lead with production of infused edible products
- Ensure clean and sanitized equipment is available for daily production

Follow company, state, and local regulations for Food Safety compliance
- Assist in Packaging and Fulfillment as needed.
- Be able to follow specific lab cleaning guidelines, including the handling of reagents, safe disposal of reagents, spent cannabis material and general lab trash.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in several locations that include a cannabis cultivation and production facility. The working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures. Involves frequent contact with staff. Work may include dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors.
