Zen Leaf Aurora is growing, and we are looking to add passionate, customer service focused talent to our store! The Cannabis Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management.
**This position requires full-time | night and weekend availability!**
Our ideal Cannabis Advisor has a positive upbeat attitude and a desire to help people find the best product for their needs. A background in retail and hospitality is highly preferred (1-2 years), but customer service experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Possess a positive attitude while greeting customers and patients
- Be an advocate of cannabis customer care
- Help customers and patients navigate through cannabis and educate them on how it can be used as a wellness product
- Build rapport with regular patients/customers to promote repeat business
- Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Provide patients and customers alike with information on types, methods and efficacy of various cannabis products (we do not provide medical advice)
- Be open to continued, on-going cannabis education and training
- Provide support to managers and other Cannabis Consultants as needed
- Maintain a clean, organize, and sanitize workstation/store front
- Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up
- Understand and apply detailed compliance regulations as required by local and state laws
- Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory
- Complete transactions at the POS and ensure the state monitored inventory system (METRC, BioTrack, etc.) accurately updates the amount of product available
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
- Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods

Job Summary
The Supervisor, Front of House is responsible for supervising a team that develops, implements and continuously improves all quality, training, customer experience programs, cash reconciliation and at times the check-in (camera) department to improve accuracy, and operational initiatives, ensure safety, security, and all State and Local regulatory standards are maintained. This position is accountable for executing initiatives that facilitate the achievement of all hospitality goals at PharmaCann.
The Supervisor, Front of House is an expert in their field for specific divisions of responsibilities of the business. The ideal candidate is a business process oriented professional with demonstrated success in leading continuous improvements that enhance efficiency and/or customer/patient experience. They will have the ability to develop and maintain effective teams, be committed to collaboration with a variety of team members, and have a reputation of superior leadership and interpersonal skills.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
- Drive high customer experience standards, to include a customer-oriented culture and industry leading customer engagement through sales training and product knowledge
- Lead a world-class customer service program to drive repeat business through strong local community networking, and customer data capture
- Work closely with Managers and Supervisors to exceed sales volume and KPI goals
- Partner with cross-divisional managers to ensure adequate staffing is scheduled and payroll goals are met
- Comply and audit cash procedures as it pertains to preparing deposits and daily cash reconciliation
- Directly supervise the check-in/camera assigned team to ensure acceptable standards are maintained for the overall safety and upkeep of the dispensary.
- Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation and ensure menu availability is current.
- Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly through the store team.
- Communicate, work closely, and successfully collaborate with Managers and Supervisors to achieve the organization's goals.
- Support the implementation of operational policies, standards, and procedures for retail staff.
- Ensure staff within all divisions of responsibility have a thorough understanding of our corporate processes, SOPs, and assist with providing education in areas that need to be addressed.
- Train employees in expected customer experience and hospitality standards using appropriate tools such as customer loyalty, customer satisfaction surveys and key KPI's
- Maintain a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training is complete
- Ensure continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that results in consistency across all stores

Job Description

Position Overview:
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages of life-cycle cannabis growth to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Clone, plant, fertilize, and water plants using proper hand tools
- Harvest plants, and transplant or pot and label them
- Record information about plants and plant growth
- Feel plants' leaves and note their coloring to detect the presence of insects or disease
- Fill growing tanks with water
- Inspect plants and bud ties to assess quality
- Clean work areas and maintain tools in accordance with sanitation standards
- Check and water all plants in cultivation facility as outlined in the Daily Room-Checklist
- Transplanting plants into larger containers as needed
- Trimming plants in the vegetative stage and creating clones from material
- Washing pots/trays/lights, etc. retuning them to the appropriate Clean Room
- Harvesting and Trimming flowering plants
- Staking weak plants
- Examining plants for signs of pests or disease
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- 1-3 years of experience in a related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment
- Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope production activities, both operations, and analysis
- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sell Alternatively, a background in horticulture and a willingness to learn
- Experience with inventory control methods
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict management
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships and experience working with senior level executives
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships in order to gain support and achieve results both internally and externally

Job Description
The Cannabis Sales Consultant (CSC) is responsible for creating a world-class customer experience for all customers. Position Overview: The Delivery Transport Agent provides transportation and security support to our manufacturing operation. Position Overview:
The Extraction Technician is responsible for the facility’s overall extraction process and day-to-day production following established protocol and regulations. The Extraction Technician will lead the extraction lab team through the activities required to manufacture, store, maintain equipment and materials necessary to run a world-class extraction lab.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Follows Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations.
- Maintains testing and formulating operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
- Performs QA/QC through analytical testing for quality, consistency and efficacy.
- Works closely with production team on all elements of the testing and formulating process.
- Masters various techniques for marijuana extraction and infusion, including butane extraction.
- Develops expertise in testing and formulating methods as well as the purification, separation and isolation of various compounds of cannabis.
- Responsible for inventory, recordkeeping and quality of product at all times, maintaining inventory via seed to sale tracking.
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in chemistry or similar field.
- 1-4 years of experience in related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment.
- Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope production activities, both operations and analysis.
- Experience with analytical testing required and HPLC- specific experience preferred.
- Experience in various cannabis testing or formulation methods preferred.

Day-to-Day Role:
Maintenance Mechanic II & Maintenance Mechanic III
- Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
- Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards
- Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild a variety of plant and facility equipment
- Repair equipment during mechanical breakdowns or assist other staff in repairs
- Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts
May perform one or more of the following responsibilities within production or facilities maintenance:
- Communicate with operators to detect equipment problems and to ascertain whether mechanical or human error contributed to the problems.
- Layout, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
- Assist machinist / fabricators in fabricating parts
- Follow specification of basic blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings, install, maintain and repair equipment, machinery, physical structures and plumbing/electrical systems.
- Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments, and electrical and electronic devices.
- Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), hoist, crane, and aerial lift
- Inspect, operate, or test faulty machinery, equipment, programmable controllers, and motors to diagnose machine malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and apply knowledge of the functional operation of machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation for assignments, machine repairs, parts inventory, and maintenance logs
- Learn and use SAP Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Work Order Process, production schedules and reports, HMI control panels and machine controls and settings
- Prioritize work assignments to ensure efficiency and that production schedules can be met
- Train other Maintenance Mechanics as required
- May troubleshoot basic electrical equipment problems such as changing fuses, buttons, and switches
- Utilize specific knowledge for a variety of skilled trades, including but not limited to, production and facility machinery and equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pipefitting, carpentry, utilities, etc.

Position Overview:
The Facility Manager is responsible for the facility and managing the day-to-day operations in accordance with local and state laws, regulations, and standards set by the Company. The Facility Manager is responsible for People, Process, Product and Infrastructure which includes the management and accountability for compliance, P&L, budgets, cash flow and production targets, human resources, repairs and maintenance, health and safety and security. This includes leading all cultivation, manufacturing and production agents, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, industry news, and product information as well as lead procurement, waste disposal and inventory management activities. The position must maintain strong partnerships with corporate leaders of Infrastructure, Horticulture, Manufacturing and Compliance. The Cultivation and Manufacturing Facility is a busy operation and therefore the ability to organize, prioritize and delegate tasks is a key requirement. The Facility Manager will need to be able to lead teams, plan, organize and anticipate requirements well in advance to ensure smooth business operations.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
This position manages functional operating units such as Horticulture and Cultivation, Inventory Control and Manufacturing Production which may include Extraction, Pharmaceutical Production and Commercial Kitchen operations. The Facility Manager has responsibility for all staff in the facility and acts as a liaison externally between the Cultivation and Dispensing Facilities and the local community, including law enforcement.
Other responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a highly focused, diligent, lean operational culture dedicated to Columbia Care’s established mission objectives
- Ensuring compliance with all State and local laws, rules and regulations governing the local medical marijuana program, and other regulations such as OSHA, HIPAA, NFPA and others
- Overseeing staff training and education to ensure that SOPs, Health and Safety, and good agricultural and manufacturing practices are followed
- Managing security of the facility in partnership with corporate VP, Security. This includes implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of, storage, delivery, transporting, and distribution
- General facility repairs and maintenance and overseeing minor Capex projects.
- Working with Cultivation and Manufacturing teams to establish protocols to ensure the facility can maintain efficient production throughput and establish and implement procedures focused on increasing yields and finished goods production while reducing costs and increasing quality within the approved SOP framework.
- Establishing and meeting daily/weekly production requirements and KPI’s
- Working with department leads/supervisors in maintaining GMP audit-readiness
- Ensuring Just-In-Time inventory management is maintained as it pertains to the production of finished goods, raw materials and other inventory items as required
- Working with Quality Management to ensure vendor relationships are maintained and able to support cultivation, manufacturing and production needs
- Assisting state and local government officials and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits
- Overseeing and managing the tracking of all inventory in seed to sale software system and liaise with the accounting department to maintain, with the administrative, flower, and post-harvest staffs, control of all inventory (plants, in-process products, and final products) in the facility

Position Overview:
The Facility Manager is responsible for the facility and managing the day-to-day operations in accordance with local and state laws, regulations, and standards set by the Company. The Facility Manager is responsible for People, Process, Product and Infrastructure which includes the management and accountability for compliance, P&L, budgets, cash flow and production targets, human resources, repairs and maintenance, health and safety and security. Major Areas of Responsibility:
This position manages functional operating units such as Horticulture and Cultivation, Inventory Control and Manufacturing Production which may include Extraction, Pharmaceutical Production and Commercial Kitchen operations. The Facility Manager has responsibility for all staff in the facility and acts as a liaison externally between the Cultivation and Dispensing Facilities and the local community, including law enforcement.

- General facility repairs and maintenance and overseeing minor Capex projects.
- Working with Cultivation and Manufacturing teams to establish protocols to ensure the facility can maintain efficient production throughput and establish and implement procedures focused on increasing yields and finished goods production while reducing costs and increasing quality within the approved SOP framework.
- Establishing and meeting daily/weekly production requirements and KPI’s
- Working with department leads/supervisors in maintaining GMP audit-readiness
- Ensuring Just-In-Time inventory management is maintained as it pertains to the production of finished goods, raw materials and other inventory items as required
- Working with Quality Management to ensure vendor relationships are maintained and able to support cultivation, manufacturing and production needs
- Assisting state and local government officials and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits
- Overseeing and managing the tracking of all inventory in seed to sale software system and liaise with the accounting department to maintain, with the administrative, flower, and post-harvest staffs, control of all inventory (plants, in-process products, and final products) in the facility

The IPM Manager is responsible for all pest and disease management, ensuring overall plant health for indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse production. Position Overview:
The Production Technician is responsible for all aspects of plant processing from post-crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team and SOPs. These responsibilities include trimming, assembling completed product materials into various containers and packages as well as ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged. Position Overview: The Delivery Transport Agent provides transportation and security support to our manufacturing operation. Ensure that Columbia Care products make it from each site in a timely and safe manner. Position Overview:
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages of life-cycle cannabis growth to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

- 1-3 years of experience in a related position with an emphasis in an operations production/manufacturing environment
- Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope production activities, both operations, and analysis
- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sell Alternatively, a background in horticulture and a willingness to learn
- Experience with inventory control methods

The Cannabis Sales Consultant (CSC) is responsible for creating a world-class customer experience for all customers. The CSC will promote a positive, customer service-oriented, and compliant work environment This position is accountable for executing initiatives that achieve all hospitality goals at the retail PharmaCann location.
The CSC is responsible for compliance with all policy and procedures and all other operational objectives of the business., as well as executing visual standards and presentation needs to customer requirements, product performance, along with sales and marketing objectives. The CSC must be passionate about their role and have a strong willingness to help people become educated about cannabis.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Meet & exceed personal sales volume and KPI goals.
- Assist in building a great company and business that disrupts the traditional retail model and embrace change.
- Add value to the team by being an authentic and confident self-leader who strives to execute our world-class hospitality program.
- Drive repeat business through strong local networking and customer data capture, patient confidence inspiration, and building of patient loyalty.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on products and industry knowledge, including cannabis laws and regulation.
- Proactively answer customer questions and ensure knowledge of products and usage.
- Execute high customer experience standards, to include a world-class culture and industry-leading customer engagement through strong sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Accountable for accurately utilizing PharmaCann's Point of Sale system.
- Execute customer transactions with high attention to detail and ensure accuracy in register transactions.
- Execute PharmaCann's dispensary protocols including safety protocols.
- Complies with all security, safety, and legal requirements.
- Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized point of sale area.
- This role is required to assist and/or perform other duties as assigned, as well as in other functions of the operation, including but not limited to: call center, inventory, outreach, security, delivery acceptance, delivery, and visual merchandising.
- Dependent upon the state and/or location, this position may be required to hold a current driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Job Description
On-site Security personnel are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of PharmaCann customers, employees and facilities in our dispensaries. On-site Security personnel will ensure strict adherence to all security protocols, procedures and controls.
- Perform entry/exit control protocols
- Monitor electronic surveillance and security alarm systems
- Perform security risk management tasks and manage access control systems
- Carry out inspections to verify the integrity of security after hours
- Patrol internal and external areas
- Appropriately greets and registers patients and/or employees
- Conduct staff protective security awareness campaigns and promotions
- Provide assistance as directed during an emergency
- Perform lockup and unlock duties of designated areas as required
- Report security, fire, and safety risks and keep a record of daily activities
- Monitor traffic and parking on facility property
- Other duties as assigned by the Site Manager
Qualifications
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to greet and manage patient or employee interactions
- Current driver's license
- Steady employment history
- Pass a comprehensive background check that includes a criminal history, and obtain and maintain state agent requirements
- Communicates well with employees and patients
- Strong attention to detail, and able to record information accurately
- A positive attitude
- Can lift at least 50 pounds

We are currently seeking full-time and part-time Budtenders to join our upcoming Aurora, IL dispensary. Budtenders are responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and patient record management. This job pairs unparalleled attention to a customer's needs with ongoing inventory maintenance.
This is a fast-paced retail job. Each budtender focuses on one patient at a time in a boutique setting. A successful budtender will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective verbal and listening communications skills, and computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Accountability, dependability, and adaptability are all necessary skills in a growing industry that strictly complies with the regulations of the Illinois Department of Health.
Responsibilities
· Welcomes all visitors to the dispensary
· Possesses a thorough knowledge of cannabis products and pricing to provide exceptional customer service to dispensary customers;
· Advises customers on products in compliance with all dispensing rules, regulations, and limitations in a friendly and professional manner
· Provides customers with information on types, methods and effectiveness of different cannabis products (does not provide medical advice)
· Dispenses regulated products in compliance with state dispensing limitations, including limits on the quantity dispensed, limits on the form or dosage of cannabis, limits on the types of products dispensed, and/or the frequency of purchases
· Stocks, merchandises, and replenishes displays of regulated and unregulated inventory
· Completes all sales by entering accurate data for each transaction in the business management software platforms in compliance with company policies and state dispensing limitations

Position Overview:
Processing Technicians are responsible for all aspects of plant processing from crop harvest through packaging and labeling of the final product ready for customer sale as outlined by the management team. These responsibilities include trimming, assembling completed product materials into various containers and packages as well as ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged. This position works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity and acts with professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and processing equipment. All qualified applicants will be trained in the use of equipment for processing.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Assisting in the harvest and post-harvest plant processing of medical cannabis
- Fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, recording, inspection of product in addition to cleaning and sanitation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Hand trim fan leaves from medical marijuana plants before harvest using shears, scissors
- Transport harvested plants to drying and hang to be dried
- Operate a trimming machine (if needed) to remove guard and/ or sugar leaves from medical marijuana

Position Overview: The Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages of cannabis growth life-cycle to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Cultivation Technician is responsible for performing all tasks in accordance with local and District laws, regulations, and standards set by the Company. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system in compliance with our client's processes and state regulations.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Performing all the tasks in the grow including: tissue culture, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays.
- Propagating, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, and training plants using hand tools and gardening tools
- Executing plant scheduling to ensure a steady-state production can be maintained by the facility and project all milestones of the production environment
- Conducting diagnostic reviews of all cultivation facilitiies to identify and eliminate issues with contaminants including, but not limited to, mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids and fungus gnats
- Maintaining detailed records of plant growth and conditions
- Using various techniques to detect and monitor the presence of pests or disease and manage any outbreaks
- Maintaining irrigation systems
- Keeping work areas clean and maintaining tools in accordance with sanitation standards
- Checking and water all plants in cultivation facility as outlined in the daily duties
- Pruning, de-leafing, and training plants to maintain a healthy canopy
- Washing pots/trays/lights, etc. following all cleaning protocols
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sale. Alternatively, a background in horticulture and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
· Responsible for managing dispensary cashflow, staff, schedules, inventory and customer relations
· Serves as a role model and resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations;

The Facility Administrator is responsible for planning, organizing, administering a compliance plan and timeline for plant production from seed to harvest. This position is responsible for initiating a continuous compliance tracking and management system to include data integrity and reporting. This role is designated to have control and management over the day-to-day procurement operations functions of the facility to include the management of facility cash management. The Facility Administrator works closely and collaboratively with cultivation leadership and reports to the Facility Manager.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- The Facility Administrator works collaboratively with all areas of facility to track products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives to meet qualified patient needs.
- Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor delution and minimize harvest loss
- Directs and monitors department managers to accomplish goals of the plan, consistent with established and safety procedures
- Establishes methods to follow the operating plan in compliance with the Compassionate Care Act, maintaining records required by public health law and ensures qualitiy assurance plans, including but not limited to plans to detect, identify and prevent dispensing errors related to product packaging and labeling
- Manages and implements policies and procedures for any retesting of returned approved medical marijuana products, storage and disposal and meeting reporting requirements for adverse events and product recall
- The Facility Administrator acts as a liaison internally between all production staff and management, and externally between the Cultivation, Dispensing Facilities and the local community, including law enforcement. This position ensures compliance with all State law, rules and regulations governing the Compassionate Care Act and oversees all production staff training and education to ensure that good agricultural practices (GAPs) are employed
- The Facility Administrator tracks the maintenance and storage of all inventory (plants, in-process products, and final products) in the facility and oversees any changes to the product line to reflect patient demand
- This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of, storage, delivery, transporting, and distribution.

Position Overview
The Extraction Technician is responsible for following established protocols, regulations and procedures during the extraction process while operating equipment and conducting activities required to manufacture and store product, as well as properly maintain production equipment and materials necessary to run a world-class extration lab.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Operating extraction and distillation equipment and handling extraction gases winterizing, refining, distilling, and/or formulating final product

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in extracting and processing finished medicine
- Keeps accurate records on each plant using Company system and protocols
- Records and tracks accurate weights and measurements of medicine throughout the processing procedures using company systems and protocols

- Inspects medicine for defects using a variety of magnification tools

The Laboratory Technician is responsible and accountable for the testing and production of concentrates and formulated products and all aspects of the tracking and quality control management. Job Description
This position is responsible for executing initiatives that facilitate the achievement of outreach goals, the increase of new medical patients and driving awareness of our brand and dispensaries in the community. Daily tasks will include canvassing, new patient acquisition and the execution of approved events.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Achieves maximum growth in new medical patients through promotion and education of Verilife to potential patients, providers, in the community and other approved partnership outlets.
- Facilitates 2 or more approved events per week and 10 or more in person visits daily with community contacts.
- Meets or exceeds growth targets within the assigned territory.
- Executes pre event activities and post event follow up.
- Assists in the execution of social equity activities.
- Assists patients with application assistance,as needed.
- Performs application assistance at offsite events and by appointment.
- Follows up on leads generated by our call center and marketing department.
- Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships within the community to provide information, educate, and sell products.
- Establishes and builds credibility and rapport with the community and reaches out to key contacts regularly.
- Participates in scheduled company meetings, conference calls, and other required business meetings.
- Provides product & dispensary information to patients, providers and the community.

Position Overview: The Cultivation Technician is responsible for plant care in all stages of cannabis growth life-cycle to include germination, vegetative, flowering and harvest. The Cultivation Technician is responsible for performing all tasks in accordance with local and District laws, regulations, and standards set by the Company. The Technician journals, monitors and tracks all observations in the company’s software tracking system in compliance with our client's processes and state regulations.
Major Areas of Responsibility include:
- Performing all the tasks in the grow including: tissue culture, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays.
- Propagating, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, and training plants using hand tools and gardening tools
- Executing plant scheduling to ensure a steady-state production can be maintained by the facility and project all milestones of the production environment
- Conducting diagnostic reviews of all cultivation facilitiies to identify and eliminate issues with contaminants including, but not limited to, mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids and fungus gnats
- Maintaining detailed records of plant growth and conditions
- Using various techniques to detect and monitor the presence of pests or disease and manage any outbreaks
- Maintaining irrigation systems
- Keeping work areas clean and maintaining tools in accordance with sanitation standards
- Checking and water all plants in cultivation facility as outlined in the daily duties
- Pruning, de-leafing, and training plants to maintain a healthy canopy
- Washing pots/trays/lights, etc. following all cleaning protocols
Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):
- Working knowledge of medical cannabis and cannabis-infused product production from seed to sale. Alternatively, a background in horticulture and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledgeable of State and Local regulations governing cannabis cultivation and work environments
- Experience with inventory control methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict management.
