Job Summary:

SUMMARY
The Cultivation Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cultivation and packaging activities. This hands-on position will be responsible for daily operations in cultivation including processes and procedures within the propagation, vegetation, flowering, and post-harvest phases. Job Summary:
The Inventory & Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for all aspects of in-bound raw materials and on-site raw materials inventory management. This position is responsible for collaborating with site management to determine raw material demand and creating and managing PO’s (ERP) to satisfy demand while minimizing inventory overage. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records (ERP) and organized storage of all raw materials from delivery through consumption.
The position also creates and manages shipping and receiving SOP’s to ensure practices are in place for all staff to support accurate inventory management. This role will support the Director of Operations and work collaboratively with other departments.

Major duties/responsibilities
Receiving
- Oversee incoming orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Ensure all incoming materials have been properly recorded in the ERP.
- Inspects material handling equipment for defects and informs maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair.
Inventory
- Organize, and oversee the proper storage of product and raw material inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and prepare purchase orders for replenishment
- Coordinate with the accounting team to perform standard physical inventories
- Work with the Operations Director to coordinate production scheduled based on sales numbers and inventory levels
- Maintain that all production areas and equipment are clean and sanitized at all times according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that all sections of processing are in complete accordance with all Michigan regulations.
- Understand and apply the use of METRC, our seed to sale tracking program.
- Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conduct visual inspections to ensure the product meets or exceeds set quality standards.
- Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained.

Skills and Qualifications
- High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in warehousing and inventory preferred

SUMMARY
The Post-Harvest Manager is responsible for maintaining product quality through the drying, trimming, and testing processes. This position will oversee a team of Post-Harvest Agents in properly handling and trimming product as it becomes available. The Post-Harvest Manager will also serve as the primary interface between the facility and external testing labs to ensure all product is tested and upholds the company’s high standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume responsibility for plants immediately following a harvest
- Accurately and consistently maintain the tracking and movement of each harvest batch via the statewide monitoring system (METRC)
- Oversee drying process, monitor environmental variables and moisture content of product
- Ensure the dry rooms are properly sanitized following transfer to trimming
- Record all cleaning activities in the sanitation log
- Lead the product trimming process to ensure that a high level of quality is maintained while focusing on the efficiency and productivity of the trimming team.
- Make sure that all trimming equipment, including tables, handheld trimmers, and other small items, are properly sterilized before and after trimming activity
- Accurately record the weights of all product as it moves through the process in the statewide monitoring system (METRC)
- Coordinate with Compliance to ensure product is properly batched, sampled and tested

JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in implementing the preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and assists with the upkeep of the facility. JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance for the assigned facility which includes repairing and maintaining heating and cooling equipment. This role requires a balance of technical and mechanical skills and knowledge about HVAC systems, components, and generators. The MaintenanceManager is the coordinator and supervisor of the maintenance program and project maintenance personnel. Major duties/responsibilities:

The Assistant Cultivation Manager for our Au Gres, Michigan site will be responsible for helping with oversight of the cultivation facility. Job Summary:
The Processing Manager is responsible for all activities in the processing center including pre-roll production, maintenance of processing equipment, etc. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a consistently compliant, safe, actively productive, and developmental environment for the Processing department to function at the highest efficiency. The Processing Manager will lead a team, schedule activities and processing to meet customer demand. This role will support the Director of Operations to direct and manage the Processing department while working collaboratively with other departments.
Major duties/responsibilities
- Responsible for scheduling and overseeing all oil extraction processes, cartridge fill functions and processing in preparation for packaging.
- Ensuring all documentation records are recorded accurately and timely for all functions within the department
- Responsible for the development of and adherence to standard operating procedures and policies along with all state and city regulations.
- Optimizing the processing equipment to ensure all product is produced and all deadlines are achieved
- Managing and scheduling staff and allocating manpower within processing department

SUMMARY
An Operations Director (OD) plays a vital role in the Glorious Cannabis supply chain, driving results and managing change related to all operations functions at a Distribution Center site. Specifically, an OD at Glorious Cannabis has three overarching responsibilities: people and team development, site management, and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
People and Team Development:
- Interview, hire and coordinate training for all team members. Team members are responsible for a number of functions within the facility: cloning, planting and caring for plants; harvesting, drying and curing bio mass; packaging and labeling final product for sale; preparing customer orders for delivery
- Help create efficiencies by working with employees to identify new processes. Document finalized processes and enforce SOPs across all jobs and responsibilities.
- Develop a cohesive and empowered team of employees with the technical and problem-solving skills to execute daily tasks as efficiently as possible.
- Manage all day-to-day people issues such as scheduling, safety, specific employee issues, etc. Provide coaching and administer corrective action as needed
- Collaboration with the Sales Team is a daily expectation to ensure customer service needs are being met
Site Management:
- Meet cost parameters; execute service targets and objectives through daily management of direct and indirect expenses
- Ensure site regulatory compliance with MRA, OSHA, and FDA

Cultivation Technicians are responsible for the care of medical marijuana plants during the immature, vegetative, and flowering stages. Cultivation Technicians execute operations pertaining to plant care such as pruning, transplanting and up-potting, watering, feeding, ensuring environmental control, and inspecting plants for signs of deficiency or infestation, as well as labeling and tracking plants using METRC tags. They implement cultivation practices as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and often operate in specific areas, as separated by plant production areas, in order to focus their role and responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the health of immature, vegetative and flowering plants through observation and adherence to established SOPs
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with regard to plant health and traceability, in order to uphold the company’s standard for quality
- Perform plant maintenance, feedings and irrigation events, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) according to a set schedule and SOP, as determined by the Head of Cultivation
- Apply pesticides in a safe and effective manner, wearing appropriate PPE, and after ample training and instruction from the Head of Cultivation
- Ensure the grow facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within
- Implement a mother plant maintenance program with oversight from the Head of Cultivation
- Observe and immediately address issues with plants, equipment, or environments
- Ensure accuracy of plant inventory, including strain names, plant tag numbers, and counts of plants
- Check and record accurate data daily, including but not limited to: pesticide applications, issues found when scouting plants, and any other items required by management
- Break down and set up plant production areas after harvest, including: sweep all work areas, sanitize crop benches and prepare to transplant new crops
- Assist with post-harvest duties as needed
- Assist in inspections, whether initiated internally or through a governing entity, using inventory and compliance audits
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems
- Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the grow facility
- Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure sanitary practices
- Abide by high personal hygiene standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of experience in agriculture, landscaping, horticulture or marijuana cultivation preferred
- Knowledge of uses and benefits of cannabinoids preferred
- Basic strain and plant structure knowledge preferred
- Ability to pass a background check required
- Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
- Willingness to comply with state regulations and guidelines

Job Description and Duties
Per CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies.
This is a 24-month limited term position with the potential to become permanent.
Under the direction of the Supervising Special Investigator I, the Special Investigator is designated to support the mission of Cannabis Enforcement Program (CEP). The incumbent’s primary responsibility will be to perform comprehensive investigations of persons or business entities using state, local, and private database systems which are confined within a controlled office setting. The Special Investigator conducts inspections, investigations, administrative enforcement actions, and other duties related to compliance and enforcement of California laws and regulations governing the cultivation of cannabis. The incumbent applies State laws and regulations relating to the cultivation of cannabis; determines compliance with track-and-trace requirements for the movement and transfer of cannabis and cannabis products; analyzes situations accurately; and takes an effective course of action. Additionally, the incumbent prepares and issues Notices of Violation (NOV) and prepares clear and concise investigative reports and administrative enforcement documentation and testifies at administrative hearings, civil proceedings and/or criminal proceedings.

Working Conditions
The duties of this position are conducted 80% indoors and 20% outdoors (percentages are an estimate) and require use of private database systems which are confined within a controlled CalCannabis office setting. The incumbent may be assigned a state vehicle (equipped with GPS technology), laptop computer, printer, cellular phone, and other tools, supplies and equipment necessary to perform the required job functions. At times the shift start and finish time may vary based on operational need of work (i.e., travel, search warrants, surveillance, etc.) Overtime may be required.
During activities while in the field, the incumbent may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, dirt, odors, noise, fumes, uneven surfaces, extreme weather conditions, and fast-moving equipment. Should be able to perform strenuous hikes on foot over rough and rural terrain where unlicensed cannabis cultivation activities occurs, carry 25lbs, wear a tactical vest weighing 20lbs for long periods of time (8-10 hrs), and operate a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Travel by state vehicle throughout the State is required. Travel by state vehicle or other public transportation systems to various locations throughout the state will be required and may be on short notice to assist other CalCannabis Investigators on enforcement actions. Incumbent should expect travel outside of normal work assignment 20% of the time; participate in regular early hour operational briefings; and work extended hours when on various operations. Investigations may require extended periods of surveillance and sitting.
Title 11, Section 703(d) California Code of Regulations requires that all personnel who have access to Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) be fingerprinted and subject to a background investigation through the Department of Justice. Applicants for this position/examination must comply with this requirement and be cleared before hiring. Employees/candidates who do not pass DOJs background check will not be authorized for hire to this position.

Department Information
CDFA is statutorily mandated to establish a Cannabis Cultivation Licensing Program (CalCannabis). As required by the Medicinal and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act (MAUCRSA), CalCannabis will license the cultivation of indoor and outdoor cannabis, with consideration given to size and location of the operation; establish a track-and-trace program that uniquely identifies cannabis plants and enables licensing authorities to track cannabis through the distribution chain; work in consultation with other state agencies to adopt environmental remediation regulations; and consider and implement best practices. Current law also includes the authority to conduct compliance verification inspections, enforcement language, and provisions to promulgate regulations and report program activities to the Legislature.
