Possibly The Coolest Part Time Retail Sales Job Ever (in Cannabis)
LCCL Group
How 'bout we skip right ahead to the center of the tootsie-pop? Our small business is in South Asheville, NC.
We are biased, but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for. And we believe that we are changing the world (you will see what we mean when you check our website!). Honestly, the job is not all roses and puppy dogs — there is some good news and some bad news.
Let's get the bad news out of the way first:
- The pay is not great. Meaning you won't get rich at this job. The pay is $14-16/hour plus sales commission. It can be some extra spending money, for sure. However, if you are seeking a job to support a household, this is no longer the" coolest" part-time job ever; it is now the "suckiest" part-time job ever.
- Review point 1.
Now let's talk about the good stuff:
1. Our retail store is conveniently located on Hendersonville Road on the first floor...no stairs! OK, so that part is maybe not the greatest, but there are some (truly) great things.
2. The work is fun, fresh, and dynamic. You will be working directly for our co-founder, Jason, and team member, Theresa, and helping with a mix of projects in our CBD Retail startup.
3. We aren't big on stress. So, while we expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right.
4. You will help people in a meaningful way with high-quality hemp/CBD products. We focus on educating the client. Whether they purchase from us or not, we want to help them understand how hempmay/may not be able to help them.
5. You will bring your unique set of skills, help shape the company's path, do things, and make decisions on things that no big stuffy company would ever allow you to do. You will be able to shape the work that you do.
6. After 30 days here, you get to start taking a commission. Hellz yeah, you read that right! Cha-ching-ga!
7. You can see hemp products formulated and crafted here in-house. Few retailers can say they know where the hemp comes from and how it's processed.
Now, let's talk about the job requirements:
1. You need to be the type of person who gets joy from getting things done. Yes, we expect you to educate clients and sell quality products. Every day, you will bang out a list of stuff. Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff.
2. You will need to be available during weekends.
3. You will be on the computer a lot. Understanding chat tools, social media, email, navigating the web, and other computer-based stuff will be necessary.
3. You will be on the phone a decent amount. So, you must enjoy talking with people and giving/getting direction.
5. You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people. You know, you need to be someone who feels good by making other people feel good.
6. You need to nail down the details. You don't need to race through work and get things done half-assed (we figured that out ourselves). We need you to slow things down and get them done right.
7. You need to have strong figure-it-itis chops. If you like to come to work expecting people to tell you what to do and how to figure it out, this will be a miserable job for you.
Job expectations
In short, your job is to help our clients and help Jason in any way you can. And to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn't fun?).
Our office is casual, but we do expect professionalism and punctuality.
But what we don't expect is perfection or existing skills for you to qualify for this job. We can teach you that.
We expect intelligence, resilience, energy, and a get-it-done attitude. When you have questions, you will find the answers with a quick yell in the office to Jason or anyone on our team.
To learn more about us, check out www.RemedyHW.com.
How to apply
If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you. But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it, we like getting paid as well), this is what we offer: This is a part-time retail sales associate job. The pay is $14-$16 an hour, and the hours will be 12-18 a week. The job is in-person at our South Asheville office (2690 Hendersonville Rd, Arden, NC). Sorry, but this is not a virtual job.
In addition to being a detailed person, you must follow systems and processes. To prove that you are detailed oriented and can follow procedures, in the application details or email subject line of the email, you must include "I have found my type of peeps." Yep, that's our little trick to sort out the people who blanket send their resume to anyone and everyone, from the folks (that's you) who are truly interested in this position.
We want to bring our new colleague on board as soon as possible. Still, we will spend the necessary time to find the best fit both in abilities and culture. One thing that will give you a BIG leg up (but is optional) is sending a quick video along with your resume. In your video, tell us why you think you're perfect for this job and why you will rock this position. The video is simply for us to get a sense of your personality. And if you decide not to send a video (that's OK), please tell us why you chose not to send a video.
We can't wait to meet you!

Company Overview
The Endless Group is a cannabis holding company headquartered in Asheville, NC. We founded Endless in late 2019 with no investment capital, and we already employ over 20 amazing people.
We create and distribute the most potent cannabis products legally allowable in the southern and midwestern United States. We are one of the fastest growing cannabis companies globally, and one of few cannabis companies that is consistently profitable.
This posting is for a job with Endless Brands, which holds and services all brands in the Endless Group brand portfolio. Endless Brands includes Legals Hemp Flower, which claims 15% of all consumer sales in the hemp flower segment, and four more brands launching by the end of 2020: Space Confections, Fitzgerald’s Fine Vapor, and Potent-C Tinctures.
Endless Manufacturing ships product on order for each Endless brand’s eCommerce business, as well as Endless Distribution, which partners with retail stores throughout the southern & midwestern United States.
Our Brands & Products
Legals Hemp Flower is the first brand of a planned portfolio of 10+ cannabis brands under Endless Brands.
Legals was the first hemp flower brand to see state-wide distribution in Missouri in late 2019. Now Legals claims 15% of United States consumer sales of hemp flower, and can be found in stores across 7 southern & midwestern states. Our customers rate it 4.8 stars out of 5, on average.
Legals is a high-end brand with the look & feel of vintage liquor, inspired by the end of prohibition. The packaging consists of a borosilicate jar, a rubber-sealing bamboo top, and thick, textured labels.
The flower looks like, smells like, and smokes like great marijuana. It is cannabis, legally classified as ‘hemp flower’ for its compliant levels of THC. Legals flower has high concentrations of CBD (16% to 21%), whereas marijuana typically has less than 1%. Total active THC concentrations in Legals Hemp Flower are currently around .5% to .7%, but delta-9 THC concentrations are well below the legal limit of .3%.
Consumers choose to buy Legals Hemp Flower for three primary reasons: (1) they want to enjoy cannabis with a buzz instead of a high, (2) marijuana is too intense for them, or (3) they mix Legals with the other cannabis to balance out the THC with CBD, and to maximize the amount of THC that penetrates their blood-brain barrier.
By the end of 2020, we will introduce Space Confections, Fitzgerald’s Fine Vapor, and Potent-C Tinctures. Products under these brands will all be totally legal and hemp-derived, but potency matching the products you would find in a real dispensary.
Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced designer to help us build & promote our portfolio of cannabis brands.
The Endless Group is a joint venture between two marketing firms. Our partners are experienced, successful marketing practitioners. But we’re not designers. That’s where you come in.
To-date, we’ve always worked with freelance designers. Now we want to bring design in-house. Freelancers want to be told exactly what to make. We need more autonomy from our team.
We want a designer working beside us who knows & loves our cannabis products as much as we do, and who is eager to contribute killer design ideas of their own. Together, we will make amazing things.
Our brands & products are distributed through two key channels: (1) Direct-to-Consumer / E-Commerce, and (2) Retail: Convenience Stores & Liquor Stores. You will contribute to our success in each.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conceptualizing new brands with us from scratch
- Developing identity for new brands (logos, colors, fonts, imagery, voice)
- Designing product packaging
- Creating & updating in-store print marketing for retail
- Contributing graphics for our social media, email, and ambassador efforts
- Produce display advertising for our online promotional efforts
- Collaborating with our web designers
- Procuring stock photography & video
- Managing & collaborating with photographers & videographers
At Endless, every team member is responsible for one or more Key Performance Indicators. KPI’s are the statistics that drive our business forward.
As a Graphic Designer at Endless, you will own the following KPI’s: (1) Creative Performance (CTR’s, Conversion Rates, View Times, etc), and (2) Creative Production Speed.
Position Support & Management
You will work directly with and report to our Chief Product Officer and VP of Sales, both of which are owners of Endless. Our CPO works mostly on-site, and our VP of Sales travels full-time.
Our training aligns more with what you will find at other start-ups than with large corporations. We want people who prefer to learn on-the-job. There will be a lot of collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits
This role pays a base salary of $47,500, plus substantial performance bonuses for meeting & exceeding KPI goals.
In addition to high cash compensation, employees enjoy (1) a flexible schedule with unlimited vacation & holidays, (2) a retirement plan, and (3) 75% of healthcare premium coverage.
Work Schedule & Location
This is a full-time role, but it is flexible. Core hours are weekdays from 9AM to 3PM. You choose whether to start at 9AM and finish later, or start earlier and finish at 3PM.
While COVID-19 remains a threat, you will work remotely half of the time, and spend the other half at our headquarters in Asheville.
Travel & time-off are considered unlimited. We trust our team to be wise, reasonable, and considerate when planning vacations, holidays, and time-off.
What we are Looking for in Candidates
Specifically for this role, we're looking for people with a demonstrable track record of success in brand & product design, with specific focus on the 9 responsibilities outlined in the Position Overview Section.
You should have substantial experience with & working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Canva is a plus, as that is how our social media, ambassador, and email teams often produce their designs.
Experience managing social media, designing / building web pages in Wordpress / Webflow / Elementor, running ads in via DSP, and ordering prints from a printing company are all big pluses.
Company-wide, here's what we think about...
- We look for people who are exceptionally kind and polite-- you should be good at initiating uncomfortable conversations as necessary, and remaining kind, considerate, and polite throughout.
- We look for strong communicators. We want people who listen first. People who listen well-- not just to what people say, but what they communicate in body language and tonality. People who know can communicate clearly & concisely when it is time for them to speak, whether written or verbal.
- We look for people who are efficient with time & resources. You should be able to analyze data, to grasp the big picture, and to identify what action items are high impact and / or high urgency, and what action items are not.
- We look for people who are results-oriented. More specifically, we want people who know intimately what drives their KPI’s. We want people who make decisions based on data.
- We look for people who are autonomous. We do not babysit. We want you to be organized with your time & resources. We want you to be able to make good decisions with little direction, and let your results reflect your competency in these regards.
- We look for attention-to-detail. Great brands sweat the small stuff.
Background Checks & Drug Testing
We background check all candidates prior to hire. Candidates will also be drug tested prior to hire, but testing positive for cannabis use will not disqualify you.

This posting is for a job with Endless Manufacturing, which assembles, finishes, and stores products for all brands in the Endless Group portfolio.
