Requirements

- Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
- Must be able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods
- Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
- Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations

Summary The Lead Dispensary Associate is responsible for assisting the Dispensary Management team in all operational aspects of running the dispensary and ensuring each patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. - Ensure Patients' concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate Patient requests and/or problems to the Manager when needed.

- Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to Patients clearly and effectively.
- Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash transactions.

Job Summary
Zen Leaf is opening a new location in Altoona, PA and we're looking for a passionate and patient focused Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist position offers exceptional customer service to all patients and provides consultations to better understand patients' medical cannabis needs. As a Pharmacist you will be the product expert on-site and must provide a positive and customer centric experience for all patients.
Core Job Duties
- Check patient certifications via the online portal
- Review patient's physician recommendations and dispense medical cannabis medication
- Provide individualized patient consultations to determine the best program alongside the physician's recommendation
- Maintain control of the inventory and rotates the medicine as needed.
- Review and submit the prescription state monitoring program
- Record the removal of damaged and outdated medicine (Greenwaste)
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Work closely with the Management staff to ensure accurate inventory logs
- Support leadership during any schedule or unscheduled audits when necessary
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD. (Licensed without restrictions)
- 2 -5 years' experience
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Eager to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general public
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail experience mandatory (Experience at a Walgreens, CVS, etc. is a plus)
- Satisfactory completion of any PA State required Medical Cannabis education programs

- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
- Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Frequently maintain dispensary's cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry desirable, but not required.

Role Overview
We are looking for a customer service-oriented and driven candidate to join one of our many Herbology dispensaries. The Assistant Manager will help plan and manage all aspects of day to day operations, including managing personnel, establish strong customer relations, inventory control and handle the daily ebb and flow of all store related matters while adhering to strict state guidelines and regulations. You will communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to implement and maintain deals, protocols, policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards
Role Responsibilities
Learn the ins and outs of the point of sale system
Review and assist in receiving all deliveries with diligence and accuracy and in accordance with company and state regulations
Create effective organization and information gathering for all inventory regarding special patient orders, employee patient samples, and weekly deals
Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Assist with training of staff according to company guidelines
Assist in conducting nightly and monthly inventory audits in accordance with company and state guidelines to ensure there is no diversion of inventory, and effectively respond to discrepancies
Prepare and effectively lead state inspectors through unannounced inspections
Maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee, and patient/customer information, log books, inventory adjustments, and destruction reports

What will you be doing?
Sampling and testing raw and in-process materials for conformance to specifications and releasing approved materials to production.
Perform testing related to process monitoring and quality control.

What does your background and experience look like?
You possess a bachelors degree in Chemistry, another STEM field, or you have 2+ years of experience performing analytical and physical testing.
You have worked with physical test instruments such as analytical balance, refractometer, densitometer, viscometer, sieves, etc., and performed sensory analysis of samples from various matrices.
You have experience operating, maintaining and troubleshooting HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc.

We prefer you have Quality Management System, Laboratory Information Management System, and SAP experience.
Excellent verbal, written, and digital literacy, including the ability to work effectively with Microsoft Excel and Word.
