Position Summary:
Crowe is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Life Sciences industry practice. This person will have a base understanding of risk and controls and be aligned to a relevant focus solution that will help them to further develop this deep specialization. Responsibilities include:

• Providing risk services focused within one of the following areas: Third Party, Data Privacy & Protection, Supply Chain Visibility, Gross to Net, Pharmacy Rebate/Billing procedures, or similar Life Sciences industry issue
• Assisting in planning and managing staff on engagements, including reviewing workpapers and providing feedback and guidance (for both internal audit and focused solution service)
• Conducting fieldwork, preparing workpapers to support conclusions, discussing findings and observations with management, and preparing written reports of various types and formats.
• Involved in providing clients with advice to improve and optimize internal controls, enhance and transform internal audit approach and methodologies, performing risk assessments, and delivery of focused solution.
• Providing other value-added recommendations both to our clients and to help improve the firm.

Qualifications:
Educational and Professional Credentials

• Bachelor’s Degree is required in one of these major areas: Information Technology, Supply Chain, Accountancy, Finance or a Business or Economics degree with an Accounting Minor or emphasis is preferred
• CIA, CPA, CMA, CTPRP, CIPP, PBMCT, Six Sigma or pursuing these certifications is a plus
• 4-6 years of experience in their focused solution (third party risk, privacy or internal audit) within the Life Sciences industry space

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Prior experience should include progressive responsibilities, including supervising and reviewing the work of others, and project management, including self-management of simultaneous work-streams and responsibilities
• Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension both formally and informally to our clients and our teams, in a variety of formats and settings, including in interviews, meetings, calls, e-mails, reports, process narratives, presentations, etc.
• Willingness to travel 60% or more annually
• Life Sciences experience (either BioPharma, medical device, Cannabis, Hemp, or similar)
• Program development, assessment, and operation of their defined focused solution
• Internal control design and effectiveness understanding
• Business process flow and flowcharting
• Base understanding or greater of Information Technology systems and relevant applications/systems (preferred experience in SAP or NetSuite)
• GAAP financial accounting and SEC Reporting
• Networking and relationship management
