Full Job Description

Brightfield Group is looking for an Insights Lead to join our team, either out of our Chicago office (when we return to an office setting) or remotely. The position would be responsible for analysis and content creation for Brightfield’s new wellness platform, Evergi, which combines consumer surveys with social listening to uncovering emerging products, trends, and consumer attitudes in the health and wellness space. This is a fast-paced environment, and the right candidate would welcome the challenge of working on many different types of projects at the same time.

The work would include collaborating with Marketing, Research, and Technology partners to create data-driven insights and content about wellness consumers and market trends based. The insights and content would be anchored in the data available in Brightfield’s wellness platform as well as additional qualitative research into the wellness industry.

• Writing written reports and client presentations analyzing industry trends
  
• Providing inspiration for and feedback on marketing and content plans for the wellness platform
• Writing blog posts and insights reports based on survey results and social listening trends
• Working with the marketing team to generate data points and analysis for infographics
• Collaborating with product owner to communicate data needs and uncover efficient ways to explore data and uncover insights

• Is detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
• Is a self-starter who welcomes a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Has a thirst for knowledge and genuinely enjoys learning
• Excels at distilling details into actionable insights and recommendations
• Is comfortable synthesizing many different data sources to derive insights (including social listening, survey, distribution data and more)
• Develops a point of view and makes a persuasive argument in support, drawing on data and qualitative insights for validation
• Is excited about health and wellness and understanding what drives consumers and what that means for product innovation and market growth
• Can think creatively on areas for improvement for the product UX and offering overall
• Is willing and able to collaborate with many different stakeholders cross functionally, including data engineers, product owners, sales & account managers and clients
  

Preferred Experience:

• 5-7 years’ experience in market research, insights, marketing, or other research or consumer insights related role, preferably in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods space
• Experience with both consumer research and market trend analysis
• Excellent quantitative skills and a high level of comfort with calculations and analysis of large data sets (survey data)
• Experience using data visualization tools (Power BI preferred) to generate insights; ability to manipulate dashboards to further explore data
• Excellent writing and PowerPoint skills to generate insightful and engaging content for both existing and prospective clients
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or related field
