This position is responsible for providing excellent customer care and maintaining strong professional customer relationships via the phone and other media methods.
Set up meetings with retailer purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach
Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what products will best fit their needs
Follow-up with prospective accounts via phone, email and SMS to stay top of mind and close new bu siness
Collaborate with our support team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new retailers
Facilitate on-site patient appreciation days, budtender education events and other events on a regular basis
Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry
Provide seamless customer service throughout the order to delivery process to all customers
- Courteously and promptly resolve all customer questions and issues and properly advise the appropriate personnel
- Utilize Customer Care Relationship Manager Software (CRM), provides support with other data tracking tools and other tasks as need be
Essential Functions & Duties
- Nurture relationships remotely with customers
- Assume the responsibility for the accurate entry of customer orders received by phone, fax, email, and electronically
- Communicate all order details to customer
- Maintain customer account information on CRM
- Field inbound calls from existing customers and new customer leads
- Coordinate with transportation, warehouse, and accounting as issues arise
- Safeguard confidential information and only use it or disclose it as expressly authorized or specifically required in the course of performing job duties
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- High School Education, GED, or equivalent
Experience
- 1-2 years customer service experience or other related business experience
Work Environment
- Generally works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.
- Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
