JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR:
- Consults with different departments to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
- Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
- Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
- Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.

Job Summary
The Human Resource Coordinator will support our team in Eastern PA. administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator makes certain that plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Red Diamond Investors is looking for a Human Resources Administrative Coordinator to help open their first cultivation/production cannabis venue in Las Vegas!
We are looking for a candidate that can satisfy the below job duties plus more!
- Responsible for the processing of all new staff members (new staff member checklist). This includes the completion of required paperwork, setting up of personnel files, etc.
- Responsible for input of applicant information into Payroll system and enrolling in the clock.
- Maintains accurate staff member files and all records and Human Resource files ensuring confidentiality (including filing of HR documentation, offer letters, benefits correspondence, etc.).
- Respond to verification of employment requests.
- Maintains Employee Timesheets and assists management with time punch edits
- Handles Terminations for Staff Members in Payroll system
- Tracks I-9 verifications and follows up with employee
- Tracks unemployment claims
- Inputs and tracks all disciplinary forms and performance reviews
- Handles worker’s compensation claims and safety meetings
- Other tasks as assigned by Management
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Prior Human Resources Coordinator/Manager experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- Two years administrative experience, including: computer literacy, general office administration skills (i.e. telephone, typing, filing, scheduling, etc.).
- Excellent verbal, written communication, customer service skills, including strong writing and editing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, and proficiency or the ability to learn quickly with little assistance other software packages
- Good judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality is critical.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

We are hiring a part-time HR Coordinator to work 25 hours per week. This entry-level position will report to the Human Resources Manager and/or Director. This position carries out administrative responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, workers compensation, onboarding, HRIS, training, recruitment, safety, and other duties as needed. The primary worksite is in Salinas, CA, but this position will require occasional travel to other worksites.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all onboarding efforts to include offer letters, I-9 verification, employee ID badges, background check, and scheduling Live Scans.
- Responsible for maintaining and posting jobs using our ATS.
- Responsible for the coordination of final checks, Position Change letters, EIN transfers, and other administrative duties.
- Maintain human resource information system records Wurk HR/ Payroll database.
- Assist the HR team with the administration of leave of absence requests.
- Assist the HR team with the administration of workers' compensation claims.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements and Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- 1-2 years of HR Coordinator experience preferred.
- Must be bilingual in English/Spanish - written and verbal.
- Software Skills: Must be proficient in Google Suite and have outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office, prior HRIS systems (e.g. Wurk) experience is a plus.

Your Role
This position is responsible for interfacing & problem solving with a number of business partners. as well as providing HR administrative and transactional support. This position is based in Chicago and is expected to work between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday – Friday, with the opportunity for overtime. Currently expected to be in the office two days per week; however, this may turn to full-time presence in the office depending on business needs. Occasional late night and weekend work may be required.
Day to Day
- Provide day-to-day support to the Human Resources team with a proactive and customer service-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond in supporting the HR team.
- Process Rippling transactions for employee lifecycle data changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, leave of absences, and more.
- Serve as primary user for all HR systems and run reports, as assigned.
- First point of contact for HR questions including, but not limited to, benefits, payroll, vacation or policies. Follow through to ensure employees receive prompt answers to their questions. Demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Draft and prepare correspondence such as offer letters & termination packets, with direction from senior HR members.
- Complete I-9 verifications for all new employees and all administrative aspects of onboarding.
- Plan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, and roundtables.
- Assist in research, coordination and execution of Culture Council initiatives such as virtual team building events, care packages, and group fitness challenges
- Maintain and update all employee email distribution lists and org charts.
- Responsible for updating Lattice and LMS systems, as needed.
- Partner with Recruiting when needed to help coordinate talent brand awareness initiatives, such as:
- Identify and vet employer award/recognition opportunities and manage application processes
- Gather internal company "reviews" from engaged team members to highlight on relevant social media platforms
- Ad hoc projects, as assigned.
Preferred Experience
- Strong computer skills, including G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) with mid to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (ability to process data, create pivot tables, charts and formulas).
- Must have at least two years of experience in a HR Coordinator role.
- Demonstrated interest or degree in Human Resources.

Job Overview
The Human Resources Specialist reports to the President and receives additional direction and support from the HR Director. The Generalist is accountable for overseeing all HR-related responsibilities for Halo Collective and Budega Retail stores within the CA market. The HR Generalist works as an HR Business Partner to the Operations team and as a partner to the field operations team to align company goals and objectives with the day-to-day operations. The goal outside of operations partnership is to meet local, state, and federal compliance. This role must be filled by an individual with experience in leading the HR function with outstanding people skills and progressive knowledge of HR laws and regulations. The HR Generalist must be proactive in a way that ensures efficiency, risk management, engagement, continuous improvement, and talent development.
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing best in class full-cycle People Relations services, working across the business to improve upon ways of working, efficiencies, and proactive approaches to leading people and managing processes. The person in this role should bring best-in-class HR experience, be proactive, extremely organized, possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, full and complete knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices, strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Onboarding Experience: Facilitates the new employee experience tasks through our onboarding platform, sends new hire communications, initiates background checks, orders hardware/software equipment, coordinates equipment delivery with Operations, conducts check-ins with new hires, and ensures completion of new hire safety and training requirements.
- Offboarding Experience: Arranges exit interviews, processes exit paperwork and transactions for departing employees, coordinates return of assets with Operations team, works with payroll team to process final pay, and closes all appropriate exit items.
- Data Integrity: Responsible for collecting, entering, and auditing employee data in our people systems (HRIS, performance, learning and development, Internal Communication platform).

- Performance Management: Support disciplinary process, using creative problem solving and actionable steps in recommending corrective action. Tae appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations. Draft performance improvement plans. - Compensation Management. Tie performance appraisals to compensation structure and conduct compensation analysis to ensure pay sales match industry and location standards.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Project Coordinator will support the Chief People Officer with projects and day-to-day Human Resources department operations. The Project Coordinator will provide high-level support on a variety of projects and tasks including recruitment and employee onboarding, preparing for large scale meetings, assisting with presentation development, analysis of data and report preparation for the Commission. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented and exercises good judgment in a variety of situations with the ability to handle a range of tasks under pressure in a dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other staff to support the planning and logistics of large events such as public meetings with internal and external stakeholders;
- Develop or assist with developing fact sheets, posters, brochures, PowerPoint presentations and other materials for Commission presentations;
- Write and produce material for the Commissions website regarding department activities;
- Assist staff at meetings, networking events and workforce forums as requested;
- Assist in the collection and management of information for the purpose of analyzing data and trends; and
- Administrative support work as needed, and all other duties as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct and support the Commission’s goals for a diverse and culturally aware workforce;

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Human Resources Coordinator will manage and administer all HR-related duties professionally in support of the manufacturing facility, including reporting, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, full cycle-recruitment, and employment law compliance. This role will also support local operations leaders with administrative tasks as assigned.
- Provide full life-cycle support, including offer letter creation, onboarding activity, requisition creation and management, candidates management, etc
- Own onboarding tasks such as conducting reference checks, scheduling interviews, sending out assessments, processing new-hire paperwork, and maintaining employee files
- Provide administrative assistance, including but not limited to, issuing communications, managing calendars, record keeping, ordering supplies, etc.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Be the first point of contact for internal employees and external contacts to answer or direct inquiries as needed
- Maintains Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with current employee data and run reports as needed

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/related field or equivalent experience

Job Functions
As Human Resources Coordinator - I, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. No direct supervisory function. You will report directly to the Director of Operations to re-align efforts on a regular basis.
Duties And Responsibilities
Administration
· Assists in the implementation, and administration of Human Resource policies and procedures to ensure compliance, also ensures policies and procedures are consistently and fairly applied to all employees.
· Maintains personnel files in compliance with company standards and applicable state and federal guidelines.
· Advises managers, supervisors and employees on human resource, bookkeeping, compliance and other policies.
· Provides information and consultation regarding employment issues (i.e. transfers, promotion/demotion, etc.)
· Maintains accurate employment records and files.
· Enters all new hire I-9s into E-Verify federal database and maintains Center’s I-9 binder.
· Manages the Worker’s Compensation and Safety Program at the facility level.
· Responds to unemployment claims & filing appeals.
Employee Relations
· Assists departments with personnel/payroll related inquiries; advises and assists on current departmental HR procedures related to employee records; coordinate employee engagement activities and act as liaison between departments and staff.
· Responsible for the timely entry of new hires, pay rates, pay status changes and termination information of all employees into the Center’s payroll and timekeeping systems.
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to employees and managers; creates performance management documentation of such.
· Assists with the effective and thorough investigations of employee complaints and employee relations issues.
· Assists in the development of employee reward and recognition efforts.
· Oversees the employee on-boarding process to include New Hire Orientation, assimilation into the Company’s culture, mission and core values.
· Assists in the preparation and review of all employees corrective counseling documentation.
· Manages unemployment compensation (UC) program at the facility level, representing the Company at UC hearings.
· Manages and tracks WLB, VHS, PTO/EIB and FMLA requests and paperwork received.
Payroll Processing
· Reviews and imports employee time card information into the payroll system.
· Checks figures for accuracy and necessary approvals.
· Reviews payroll documentation for accuracy and makes any necessary adjustments.
· Researches and resolves questions from managers and employees as they relate to the processing of payroll information such as WLB, VHS, EIB, banking, garnishments, employment verifications, workers compensation, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other changes.
· Communicates with Corporate Payroll to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes.
· Processes special payrolls including the annual bonus and year-end adjustment payrolls.
Labor Management
· Maintains the facility’s Daily Staffing Report to ensure facility is adhering to state specific guidelines.
· Reconciles attendance daily with employee timesheets against schedule and time in/time out reporting.
· Maintains running report of attendance incidents.
· Ensures hours are accurately accumulated and categorized in a format compatible with company and department payroll procedures.
· Monitors attendance and schedule adherence.
· Assists with the coordination of programs designed to improve the productivity of employees, including training, talent acquisition and performance evaluation.
Recruitment and Retention
· Assists department heads with staffing needs to include hosting/attending job fairs.
· Partners with Creative Services in developing/placing employment advertisements and networking within local employment resources and the local employment community.
· Assists in implementing Center-sponsored recruitment and retention programs; assisting department heads in the development and implementation of programs designed to improve staff recruitment and retention.
· Reviews applications/resumes; evaluating applicant skills and making recommendations regarding applicant qualifications.
· Initiates and conducts employee background checks, OIG verifications, license/certification verifications, reference checks and completing employment verifications.
· Assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating HR functions and activities of the facility.
Education And Experience
· Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma. College Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administrator, or a related field is preferred.
· 2+ years of experiences as HR/Payroll Administration

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

POSITION SUMMARY
The HR/Office Administrator will be responsible for assisting in managing the Companies growth. There will be a wide range of tasks involved from keeping the office organized to assisting with onboarding employees, payroll and managing aspects of the employee portal. This individual must be a people person, patient, kind and able to work well with others.
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
