Post-Harvest Processing Curing Specialist

This position is responsible for the pre-processing and curing of cannabis material within the Post-Harvest Processing department primarily at the Rolling Farms facility.
RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
- Responsible for dry room takedown, deboning plants, and curing procedures of post-harvest cannabis material. * Operate equipment to sort, debone, trim, or otherwise process cannabis material. * Organize and transfer material between processing stages. * Coordinate with PHP leadership for curing and processing timelines. * Sanitize all curing and pre-processing equipment. * Communicate with PHP leadership regarding quality, inventory, and general concerns. * Assist in stocking, organizing, and maintaining proper level of supplies used. * Accurate reporting of daily production. * Participate in deep cleaning of the PHP room and equipment. * Operate software utilized by SPP to print labels and maintain a compliant work station. * Follow all safety protocols to ensure a healthy work environment. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace. * Assist other PHP teams with miscellaneous tasks as needed. * Additional duties as described by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Post Harvest Specialist is responsible for manicuring the product to meet standards set by Noa Botanicals, while in accordance with Hawai’i state laws. ROLE SUMMARY
The Harvest Specialist reports to the Harvest Leads and will be responsible for the harvest of the product. This individual will work with growers, inspecting the product during harvest for quality defects and ensuring the procedures are being followed to ensure specified requirements set forth by the Master Grower are set forth.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cutting down product, separating the plant from the root ball
Defoliation and trimming of the plants
Properly preparing product for transportation to the dry rooms
Initially cleaning and removing all plant material post-harvest
Weighing and disposing of all plant material not being sent for the drying process
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once the harvest process is completed
Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment upon use
All other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong understanding of harvest techniques
Strong understanding of cannabis pests and diseases
Experience harvesting cannabis in different environment and with various techniques highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills

As a Harvest Specialist you will report directly to a Lead Grower and shall have the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Supporting the harvesting process including but not limited to; deleafing, cutting, trimming, curing and drying cannabis plants especially helping with defoliating, trimming and packaging.
- Being part of the entire harvesting process from cutting down plants, trimming, pruning, running machinery, packaging, etc.
- Data collection via our Seed to Sale (METRCS) system along with our proprietary data collection process as may be needed from time to time.
- Moving plants, maintaining the plant environment, spotting pests or other potential hazards and performing other plant operations.
- Managing plant waste in an efficient and compliant manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness in your area and sanitizing all equipment in relation to cultivation.
- Following directions from the Head Grower and Lead Grower and always working as a team with other team members.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Post Harvest Specialist is responsible for manicuring the product to meet standards set by Noa Botanicals, while in accordance with Hawai’i state laws. Role Summary:
The Harvest Specialist reports to the Harvest Leads and will be responsible for the harvest of the product. This individual will work with growers, inspecting product during harvest for quality defects and insuring the procedures are being followed to ensure specified requirements set forth by the Master Grower are set forth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cutting down product, separating the plant from the root ball
- Defoliation and trimming of the plants
- Properly preparing product for transportation to the dry rooms
- Initially cleaning and removing all plant material post-harvest
- Weighing and disposing of all plant material not being sent for the drying process
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once the harvest process is completed
- Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment upon use

Requirements

- Strong understanding of harvest techniques

As a Harvest Specialist you will report directly to a Lead Grower and shall have the following responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Daily care and maintenance of cannabis plants including but not limited to watering, trimming, pruning, nutrient application, inspection and data collection.
- Supporting the harvesting process including but not limited to; deleafing, cutting, trimming, curing and drying cannabis plants especially helping with defoliating, trimming and packaging.
- Being part of the entire harvesting process from cutting down plants, trimming, pruning, running machinery, packaging, etc.
- Data collection via our Seed to Sale (METRCS) system along with our proprietary data collection process as may be needed from time to time.
- Moving plants, maintaining the plant environment, spotting pests or other potential hazards and performing other plant operations.
- Managing plant waste in an efficient and compliant manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness in your area and sanitizing all equipment in relation to cultivation.
- Following directions from the Head Grower and Lead Grower and always working as a team with other team members.
- Willing to provide feedback and ideas for system and process improvements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A positive attitude, a great work ethic, honest, trustworthy, willingness to learn, take direction and be a self-starter.
- Experience in a cannabis harvest is a huge plus especially as it relates to deleafing, defoliating, packaging, trimming and running any type of bucking and/or trimming machinery.
- Must be able to clearly follow directions from a written document.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment but also able to work individually and accomplish individual tasks and goals.
- Must have good hygiene and understand the importance of proper hygiene and overall cleanliness and sanitation as it relates to cannabis cultivation.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be 21+ and willing and able to pass background screening.
- Ability to work weekends, early mornings and long hours when needed on an occasional basis.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and confidential information.
- Ability to work in a physically active role where most of your time shall be spent on your feet walking, standing, bending over, kneeling, reaching up, performing repetitive motions, lifting, etc.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Computer/technological literacy at least to a basic level to be able to use METRC and our data collection system is preferred but not required.
- A degree in horticulture is a huge plus but a simple passion and interest in horticulture especially as it relates to cannabis is perfect.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Post Harvest Specialist is responsible for manicuring the product to meet standards set by Noa Botanicals, while in accordance with Hawai’i state laws. This role is responsible for maintaining and following cultivation procedures and will also properly record documents as required. This individual must be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to changing priorities and tasks as needed. - Breakdown flowers from stem and stalk of plant to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track and record amounts of useable vs unusable products

Established marijuana grow in Denver is seeking a Curing and Harvesting Specialist. The incoming employee will work closely with company managers to meet all grow and organizational needs. 35 - 40 hours a week. Weekends can be requested. Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent and be dependable, take direction, and work independently. Marijuana Enforcement Division Employee badge and No Felonies are mandatory.
Main duties include harvesting 90-120 plants per week into curing room. Then managing the plants post-harvest process thru bucking/trimming and slow cure to maintain maximum terpene profile. Additional duties are not limited to: topping, watering, warehouse upkeep and cleaning, and all other day to day tasks required at the cultivation facility. Candidate must be independent worker, highly organized, flexible and deadline oriented. Hours vary 8am-4pm. Must have reliable transportation and be punctual. Incoming employee must be able to take direction and work well with staff. MUST HAVE A MED BADGE.
Include all warehouse labor experience in cover letter or resume. Experience and knowledge of the curing and trimming process is preferred but not required.

The Post Harvest Specialist is responsible for manicuring the product to meet standards set by Noa Botanicals, while in accordance with Hawai’i state laws. This role is responsible for maintaining and following cultivation procedures and will also properly record documents as required. This individual must be able to multitask, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to changing priorities and tasks as needed. We have a very fast-paced environment as we continue to grow and expand. This candidate must be motivated, trustworthy, and able to operate both independently and within a team environment.

CORE JOB DUTIES (includes but not limited to)
- Breakdown flowers from stem and stalk of plant to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track and record amounts of useable vs unusable products
- Visually inspect plants for any diseases, insects, mold reporting concerns to management
- Provide support to additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed to achieve facility production goals
- Regularly maintain safe sanitation practices for all processes, equipment, and facilities
- Ensure all compliance and regulations are met and exceeded as per Noa Botanicals standards

Role Summary:
The Harvest Specialist reports to the Harvest Leads and will be responsible for the harvest of the product. This individual will work with growers, inspecting product during harvest for quality defects and insuring the procedures are being followed to ensure specified requirements set forth by the Master Grower are set forth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cutting down product, separating the plant from the root ball
- Defoliation and trimming of the plants
- Properly preparing product for transportation to the dry rooms
- Initially cleaning and removing all plant material post-harvest
- Weighing and disposing of all plant material not being sent for the drying process
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once the harvest process is completed
- Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment upon use
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of harvest techniques
- Strong understanding of cannabis pests and diseases
- Experience harvesting cannabis in different environment and with various techniques highly preferred

As a Harvest Specialist, you are responsible for supporting harvest and post-harvest plant processing. Harvest Specialists may be cross-trained and asked to support other departments from time to time to meet business needs.
- This position runs Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, with mandatory OT and weekends as needed. Rate is $14/hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offload, harvest, clean, and reload flower rooms.
- Weigh, record, and label post-harvest materials.
- Ensure plants are hung in specific dry rooms.
- Manage, document, and destroy cultivation waste.
- Transfer properly dried plant material to trim and production teams.
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
- Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
- Immediately inform Harvest Manager of any system or process discrepancies.
- Visually inspect plants for any diseases, insects, and mold, reporting concerns to management for remediation.
- Document all activity using company's track and trace system.
- Work within company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Regularly clean and sanitize harvest equipment, tools, and work areas, including applicable machines, containers, and dry rooms.
- Provide support to additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed to achieve facility production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to follow detailed instruction and capable of performing repetitive tasks.
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
- Willing to learn about, operate, and maintain facility equipment in a safe manner.

- Ability to safely climb, squat, bend, twist, kneel and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Role Summary:
The Harvest Specialist reports to the Harvest Leads and will be responsible for the harvest of the product. This individual will work with growers, inspecting product during harvest for quality defects and insuring the procedures are being followed to ensure specified requirements set forth by the Master Grower are set forth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cutting down product, separating the plant from the root ball
- Defoliation and trimming of the plants
- Properly preparing product for transportation to the dry rooms
- Initially cleaning and removing all plant material post-harvest
- Weighing and disposing of all plant material not being sent for the drying process
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once the harvest process is completed
- Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment upon use
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of harvest techniques
- Strong understanding of cannabis pests and diseases
- Experience harvesting cannabis in different environment and with various techniques highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong understanding of common grow room equipment including electrical systems, lights and light bulbs, timers, irrigation systems, air conditioners, dehumidifies, and plumbing highly preferred

Under the supervision of the Crew Chief assigned to our clients, this team member will be responsible for following ALL Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as they relate to various aspects of our client's cultivation and to maintain compliance within their facility at all times. Training is provided. Support Specialists will be responsible for many of key day-to-day tasks that keep our client(s) facilities operating smoothly and on-time for production cycles, so it is critical that they possess a positive mindset, a capacity to focus output/results, as well as a “team-first” mentality.
We are looking for team members with cultivation experience, a manufacturing inclination, and a “professional” mentality. Our client has excellent relationships with our clients, and we take seriously the quality of professionals that comprise of our service teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support Specialist perform many activities as requested by our clients across the lifecycle of a cannabis plant and continuing into post-harvest production. These include, but are not limited to, the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Transferring plants from one stage to the next; de-fanning plants, removing waste, weighing & tracking plant waste
- General maintenance duties, e.g., scrubbing and sanitizing trays in propagation room, veg room and various flowering rooms; cleaning miscellaneous growing equipment to maintain protocols
- Completes regularly scheduled quality assessment of plants for signs of pests/disease under the training of the Cultivation Manager.
- Support harvesting of plants, preparing for drying and curing
- Support trimming and packaging of product
- Support light manufacturing of products, such as pre-rolls
- Support cultivation room sanitization and reset for next crops
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at appropriate times as this position may be exposed to splash hazards, high temperatures, and chemicals. Complete training will be provided upon hiring.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area, and assist with processing plant waste to regulation
- Complies with safety requirements at all times.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Harvest Specialist reports to the Harvest Leads and will be responsible for the harvest of the product. This individual will work with growers, inspecting product during harvest for quality defects and insuring the procedures are being followed to ensure specified requirements set forth by the Master Grower are set forth.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cutting down product, separating the plant from the root ball
- Defoliation and trimming of the plants
- Properly preparing product for transportation to the dry rooms
- Initially cleaning and removing all plant material post-harvest
- Weighing and disposing of all plant material not being sent for the drying process
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once the harvest process is completed
- Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment upon use
- All other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of harvest techniques
- Strong understanding of cannabis pests and diseases
- Experience harvesting cannabis in different environment and with various techniques highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong understanding of common grow room equipment including electrical systems, lights and light bulbs, timers, irrigation systems, air conditioners, dehumidifies, and plumbing highly preferred
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather for up to 8 hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Post-Harvest Assistant must wear a valid, visible and current Dispensary Agent card at all times.
- Ensure product quality standards are maintained and consistently improved.
- Ensure post-harvest department has all necessary equipment and supplies.
- Maintain high standards for audits and enforce a clean and safe work environment
- Do not allow anyone without a valid and current Dispensary Agent card into the cultivation center. And non-Dispensary Agents must be accompanied by the owner or Cultivation Manager and must sign in with security.

Job Title: Harvest Specialist
Department: Cultivation
Reports to: Harvest Team Lead
FLSA Status: Regular- Non-Exempt
Salary: 11.000/Hour
Location: Quincy, FL
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Harvest Specialist reports to the Harvest Leads and will be responsible for the harvest of the product. This individual will work with growers, inspecting product during harvest for quality defects and insuring the procedures are being followed to ensure specified requirements set forth by the Master Grower are set forth.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cutting down product, separating the plant from the root ball
- Defoliation and trimming of the plants
- Properly preparing product for transportation to the dry rooms
- Initially cleaning and removing all plant material post-harvest
- Weighing and disposing of all plant material not being sent for the drying process
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag any excess plant material leaving the grow room clean once the harvest process is completed
- Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room trays, irrigation equipment, and harvest equipment upon use
- All other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of harvest techniques
- Strong understanding of cannabis pests and diseases
- Experience harvesting cannabis in different environment and with various techniques highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong understanding of common grow room equipment including electrical systems, lights and light bulbs, timers, irrigation systems, air conditioners, dehumidifies, and plumbing highly preferred
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather for up to 8 hours
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Bilingual highly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 50+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
