Supervisory Responsibility: none
Position Summary:
Provides manual labor to support the activities and operations of the Harvest Department, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to be all inclusive)
- Maintain and follow the harvest department policies and procedures.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner to meet production standards. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the facility while performing job duties.
- Uphold quality of finished product through employing attention to detail while manicuring flower.
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Works in a timely manner to efficiently meet goals while consistently producing quality product
- Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
- Employee must follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the State
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to be flexible and work in various capacities within the department as needed and/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working at other locations as needed.
- Must work well with others and ability to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and technique. Frequent contact with supervisor via face-to-face discussions
- Help create a proactive and positive environment; a positive attitude and self-motivation to help produce high quality manicured products, while meeting and/or exceeding personal and/or company goals.

- The ability to be taught and guided in areas related to cultivation with other areas being taught as the employee shows interest while still maintaining their capabilities as a cultivation technician.
- Skill in analyzing potential problems with the product being processed.
- Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor.
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with the direct supervisors and other co-workers.

- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 60 lbs. and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed inside greenhouse facilities and headhouses exposed to temperatures ranging from 60-85°F.
- Work is performed regardless of weather conditions, including rain and extreme hot or cold temperatures.
- May require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Ability to travel between two locations in Ordway is necessary
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Current MED Badge
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Previous agricultural/warehouse/manufacturing construction experiences a plus.
- Must be 21 years old per state regulations and pass a criminal background check
- 1-2 years of experience processing cannabis or other botanicals preferred.
