Purpose
This position is responsible for leading the Packaging department’s team members with effective communication and direction to achieve the weekly objective at a highly productive and efficient pace. This role is responsible for supervising, guiding, and training the Packaging department team members to maintain an inventory backstock of SKUs to be available promptly to fulfill the exporting order schedule, utilizing automated machinery. Essential Duties
Leadership Procedures & Tasks
- The Supervisor of Packaging is responsible for supervising and leading a team to achieve the packaging of dried flower product into a variety of SKUs and packaging methods to complete the weekly objectives. The Supervisor will also lead and supervise staff to utilize automated machinery, and organize and inventory packages according to the standard operating procedures. Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure daily work, productivity, and quality goals are met. Conduct employee evaluations, coachings, and other documentation as necessary to maintain consistent and successful results.
- Assist with providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to PharmaCann’s vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale. Ensure effective and appropriate communication with team members to increase team unity and operative flow.
- Bring any and all safety, security, and dried flower product and equipment concerns forward through the proper channels including and not limited to the Senior Manager of Post Harvest, Safety leadership, Compliance leadership, Security leadership, and/or General Manager of Operations.
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Cure dept tasks, Packaging dept tasks, Farm dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Training Requirements
- This position will follow the direction and training by the Manager of Packaging assigned to the Warren, MI cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to clearly lead to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.
- Training towards PharmaCann’s mission statement and leadership development.
- Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
- Guide and train staff to maintain proper organization of the areas where Technicians operate in.
- Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the machinery through participation, practice, training, guiding, and disciplining accordingly to achieve.
- Direct the communication and reporting of dried flower product concerns with the Manager of Packaging for proper awareness of organization and analysis.

Compliance and Reporting

Job Summary

Job Description
Responsibilities of the Greenhouse Supervisor Flower (GHF) includes approving standard methods and procedures related to cultivation of cannabis, specifically relating to the deployment of personnel. GHF Supervisor is also responsible for the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) enforcement and training. Work together with the Director of Cultivation, Director of Greenhouse and the Greenhouse Manager in planning, forecasting, budgeting, greenhouse improvements and maintenance, plant maintenance, and other greenhouse related issues.
Greenhouse Supervisor -Flower (GHF) RESPONSIBLITIES:
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee the operation of Flower Rooms in accordance with the SOPs.
- Responsible for appropriately staffing the greenhouse with the allocation Team Leaders, and general technicians to complete the company quotas.
- Understanding of all company SOPs prior to their implementation;
- Compile, approve and implement greenhouse labor strategies
- Ensure the necessary equipment and materials are on hand to support the function of the greenhouse operations.

Job Summary:
The Grow Supervisor is responsible for overseeing their team in daily cannabis cultivation operations during the life stages of the plant, from vegetation to flower to harvest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage all forms and logs associated with cultivation responsibilities.
- Oversee and monitor management, fertilization, insect and disease monitoring, sanitation, and overall plant growth, health, and appearance in the grow rooms.

- Catalogue and maintain organization of plants from clone-to-harvest using company logging system.

We are looking for a Greenhouse grower and someone to train to be the floor supervisor. With possible room for advancement in the future. This person is to help build the team up and direct a team of employees efficiently to keep the plants healthy and customers happy throughout the season. Previous greenhouse/growing experience preferred.
Plant care:
Proper watering of plants, cleanup of dead plant material, scouting and identifying pest/disease problems and spraying to control. Seeding plug trays and providing proper environment for germination, transplanting, and growing on. Mixing fertilizers and controlling environment (heating, cooling, airflow, etc.) for best plant growth. Setting up spring/seasonal displays and moving plant material for best environment and retail visibility.
Planning:
Keeping detailed records of planting schedules and numbers for reference in future seasons, making orders for plant material, containers, pesticides, etc. Organizing the stockroom of containers and keeping inventory of what is on hand, etc.
Other:
Being able to stay on task yourself and best manage your time to get everything done, help train and guide new employees, communicating with the grader, front end of store, and our Coldwater store so you know what’s going on with tasks. Taking customer orders in person and over the phone. Customer service and answering questions is essential part of this job.

Summary:
The Growing Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow of the growing staff which includes greenhouse technicians. The successful candidate will be a key member of a fast-paced and collaborative start-up agricultural sciences company.
