About the Role:
Fine Fettle is seeking a Front Desk Associate to assist our Front Desk Lead in running our front-of-house store operations. The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for upholding the customer experience throughout the customer and patient check-in process. The Front Desk Associate is likely the first person the customer will encounter upon entering the dispensary, and therefore must exhibit great customer service when greeting incoming guests, assisting them with their inquiries or concerns, and directing them to either the sales floor or patient consultation area. In addition, the Front Desk Associate will be responsible for handling a number of administrative tasks, including answering phone calls at the front desk, managing emails, registering patients and checking in customers in compliance with the cannabis state compliance and tracking systems.
The ideal person for this role has experience in hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing positions. Success in this role will require both strong interpersonal communication abilities and organizational skills, presenting a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors to the dispensary while simultaneously handling administrative duties with diligence and accuracy.
The Work You’ll Do:
- Greet and check-in customers and patients
- Answer phone calls and reliably provide excellent customer service over the phone
- Facilitate customer flow efficiently in and out of the front of house
- Monitor patient and customer accounts in the point of sale and cannabis tracking systems
- Assist medical patients in the process of registration and completion of necessary documentation

Summary Position:
The Front Desk Receptionist ("Host") is the first point of contact at the dispensary and is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for each patient or customer. The Receptionist position has the primary responsibility of providing great customer service, secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner. The applicant must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective verbal and listening communications skills, and computer skills including Microsoft Office. The receptionist will have to manage a fast-paced environment and will need excellent organizational with time/stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
Budtenders ("Guides") are an essential part of our team at Unity Rd. Boulder. The focus of this position is providing an exceptional experience through top-notch customer service, inventory management, and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store. Budtenders must perform all duties compliantly and must have excellent customer service to all patients and guests by providing prompt service.
This position will require both Host & Guide shifts.
Host Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for greeting patients and customers immediately upon arrival in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean reception area by keeping the front desk and lobby tidy, clean, and always stocked.

Responsibilities:
- Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Check in existing and new customers
- Listen and respond to customers needs and questions
- Ensure that the common areas are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Ensuring each customer is eligible to make a purchase
- Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Provides administrative assistance as needed.
- Scanning IDs and documenting customer eligibility for purchasing products.
- Adheres to all State and local Marijuana and Cannabis Regulatory Agency guidelines/laws.
- Processing transactions on a Point of Sale system.
- Complete any necessary logs.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Receptionist
Summary of Job Duties:
As a receptionist you will greet all patients as they enter the building in a kind, interested, caring, and welcoming manner. You will check patients in. Making sure all credentials are valid and legal. You will then either take the patient to the Budroom or kindly advise them there is a wait and that they may have a seat in our lobby. We have lots of expertise and knowledge in-house, and we will help you learn whatever you don't already know about the wide variety of cannabis products.
Basic Functions of the Job:
- Welcome our customers into our store with a friendly face and information on our deals, loyalty programs, and the rules of dispensaries
- Verify IDs for customers - making sure they are valid and current
- Keep in-house menu boards current and up to date
- Answer incoming phone calls with great phone etiquette and a friendly tone, and answer customer questions
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- To begin working in any dispensary in Colorado, you must have a valid badge from the State of Colorado to work in the cannabis industry. This badge is obtained at the cost of the candidate/employee, and the company does not reimburse for this.
- Because this is a customer facing role, reliability is super important!
- Customer Service experience in another role, either paid or volunteer.
- Friendly, positive attitude and AMAZING communication skills.
- Passion for the cannabis industry/product - even if you do not partake, you should be excited about what it can do for folks!
- General knowledge about cannabis products is a big plus!
- Willingness to learn the rules of this industry and uphold them every single day.
- Basic computer skills - enough to operate ID software, use basic office programs, etc.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTION
The primary function of Reception is to aid in the customer experience by greeting guests in a timely and welcoming manner.
- **Responsible for greeting guests upon arrival and performing initial check-in
- **Answers incoming phone calls
- **Is knowledgeable about all products and specials and can answer questions involving all aspects of the store
- **Assists Manager, and Budtenders with various tasks upon request which may include product labeling, display upkeep, and projects in word or excel
- **Responsible for checking company email, and the Memo Board for new staff updates
- **Updates printouts which may include running specials
- **Responsible for the daily upkeep of the office, waiting room, bud room and bathroom
- **Must be proficient in xcel, word, and knowledge of Flowhub is a plus
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of health and safety protocol for oneself and others.
- Using security systems as instructed.
- Identifying potential risks within the GMC environment and undertaking to minimize such risks.
- Understanding and utilizing appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining hygiene in work areas and keeping the premises free from hazards.
- Immediate reporting of potential risks as identified.

- In the undertaking of the duties outlined above the Receptionist may have access to sensitive information relating to guests and staff. This must be kept strictly confidential at all times.
- Ensure policies and procedures relating the protection of personal and sensitive data must be adhered to at all times and only divulged to authorize persons.
