In this role will directly impact the growth of WholesomeCo and provides the ability to put an impreint to support our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the balance between delivering e-commerce sales and a passion for marketing products through digital merchandising strategies to build the ultimate shopping experience online.
- Execution of online merchandising strategies, with the goal of optimizing the customer experience to increase sales, improves conversion rates, and decrease bounce rates.
- Ensuring that site content is correctly prioritized, optimized, and refreshed to create clear, accurate, and effective customer shopping experiences.
- Work with central and localized inventory teams to ensure accurate inventory is available for purchase and/or viewable on all platforms and reduce frequency of mis-orders.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure product descriptions, photos, and overall product presentation is on-brand for both WholesomeCo and our third-party retailed products.
- Audit all channels regularly to ensure optimization, ranking, and content.

Qualifications

We have a distribution warehouse in Oakland, CA, where all of the product testing, design and distribution takes place. We have been around for 5 years now, creating different products in the cannabis industry.
Our flagship product is Trim-Daddy power scissors, a device specifically used to trim flowers and herbs.
We are looking for a marketing and ecommerce professional who is passionate about taking a product to the next level. This is ideal for someone who has a background in marketing that is interested in working in a start-up environment to test the effectiveness of their initiatives and develop the tenacity of a learn-grow-repeat approach.
This is a hybrid customer-facing role and requires daily communication with customers, site visitors and internal team members about product information and order inquiries. You should have effective, engaging and positive communication skills with experience in problem-solving and customer service.
