Retail Supervisor
At Misty Mountain Shop we rely heavily on the customer experience. Our goal is to make every customer, beginner to expert, feel comfortable shopping in our store and to have a great experience with the products they purchase. Our Retail Supervisor position will assist in this process by maintaining a close working relationship with the General Manager, management team members, and the sales floor. The Retail Supervisor will support the company’s goals by utilizing professional sales techniques and unmatched customer service while following Massachusetts CCC guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Functioning as the retail supervisor, you will help manage team members and support all areas of the dispensary.
- Open and or Close the dispensary, including daily cash and inventory reconciliations, inventory, and financial reporting.
- Responsible for holding all team members accountable to the standards set by Misty Mountain Shop.
- Deliver unmatched customer service to our valued guests.
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge to promote the culture, values, and vision of Misty Mountain Shop.
- Maintains a calm demeanor and leadership presence to keep the store's operations to our standards and to continuously set a positive example for the team.
- Anticipates guest and store needs by consistently evaluating the environment and needs of the guests.
- Proactively communicates information to the Manager to ensure the team can respond as necessary to deliver our Misty Mountain Shop experience.
- Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing problems or changes in associate morale and performance and then communicating these changes to the store manager.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Acts as a liaison internally between all staff, dispensary management team, and the Manager.

Education & Experience:

- Managing all shift activity on the sales floor for a team of 10-30
- Promptly and professionally handling customer service requests
- Counting cash drawers for accuracy
- Performing opening and closing checklists and reports
- Keeping store shelves properly stocked and merchandised
- Assisting with in-store promotions
- Monitoring the store for loss prevention and cannabis compliance requirements (training provided)
