The Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Inventory Supervisor to manage the team and flow of the inventory department within dispensary at our Warwick, RI location. The Inventory Supervisor will report directly to the Dispensary Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily stock of product on sales floor
- Execute and follow up on operational standards, policies and procedures
- Implement inventory tracking systems designated by Management
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies within retail stores.
- Maintain and track levels of all supplies within the dispensary
- Research and correct any product variances within the inventory tracking system
- Inform Management of upcoming inventory needs
- Maintain compliant with all state-regulated inventory documentation
- Work closely with Dispensary Management team and Packaging Manager to coordinate product movement

Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Retail Manager and Sales, provide support in the general operation of the company through the organization and management of Dispensary inventory to maximize operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Support the operations of the Retail Department by accurate and efficient management of all merchandise and cannabis product inventories.
Fulfill daily obligations to the satisfaction of supervisory staff
Thorough communication of any obstacle which limits their capability to see individual duties through to completion
Relay to superiors any conditions observed that may affect the successful completion of that day’s work.
Complete or oversee everyday inventory control responsibilities including but not limited to;
Assignment, generation, and application of required packaging tags
Incoming internal and external product transfers (acceptance upon intake)
Transfer manifest acceptance (upon verification of physical inventory received)
Verification of the receipt of all required transfer specific supporting documentation for all products received including:
Independent Testing Laboratory Certificates of Analysis
Soil Amendments/Disclosures
Addition of saleable products to POS inventory
Performance of periodic, monthly, and quarterly inventory reconciliations
All matters related to compliance of State and Federal regulations.
Utilizes internal and Department of Taxation mandated databases to ensure accuracy of incoming shipments and corresponding manifests/invoices
Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training

Job Summary
The Dispensary Inventory Supervisor Reports to the Dispensary Inventory Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and oversight of the back of the house operation including the processing room. This role determines operational needs, maintains inventory control and menu accuracy, trains and leads dispensary inventory associates, and proactively solves processing and inventory-related problems.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Works with dispensary inventory associates while leading by example to increase efficiency, accuracy, and product knowledge
- Estimates daily inventory requirements and pre-packaged product to meet projected needs Prepares and packages orders for PharmaCann/Verilife customers and patients with a strong attention to detail Responsible for back of house organization, cleanliness and order
- Maintains inventory control - cycle counts, communicate needs, processing, markdowns, destruction and removal Helps maintains pricing and photos and ensures accuracy for inventory offerings on menus Ensures audit compliance
- Active participant in the recruitment, interview and hire process of filling open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume.
- Train employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP's, compliance audits, company and state policy and procedures.
- Set up a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training completion. Manage continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that provide consistency across all stores.
- Make recommendations and deliver team members' performance appraisals in partnership with management; collaborate on team member' performance management, succession planning, development of members strengths and improvement of weaknesses.
- Coach team members on performance, attendance, violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with management and HR.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the store.

Job Summary
The Dispensary Inventory Supervisor Reports to the Dispensary Inventory Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and oversight of the back of the house operation including the processing room. This role determines operational needs, maintains inventory control and menu accuracy, trains and leads dispensary inventory associates, and proactively solves processing and inventory-related problems.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Works with dispensary inventory associates while leading by example to increase efficiency, accuracy, and product knowledge
- Estimates daily inventory requirements and pre-packaged product to meet projected needs Prepares and packages orders for PharmaCann/Verilife customers and patients with a strong attention to detail Responsible for back of house organization, cleanliness and order
- Maintains inventory control - cycle counts, communicate needs, processing, markdowns, destruction and removal Helps maintains pricing and photos and ensures accuracy for inventory offerings on menus Ensures audit compliance
- Active participant in the recruitment, interview and hire process of filling open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume.
- Train employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP's, compliance audits, company and state policy and procedures.
- Set up a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training completion. Manage continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that provide consistency across all stores.
- Make recommendations and deliver team members' performance appraisals in partnership with management; collaborate on team member' performance management, succession planning, development of members strengths and improvement of weaknesses.
- Coach team members on performance, attendance, violation of company and compliance policies in partnership with management and HR.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the store.

Position Overview
The Inventory Supervisor lead the Inventory team and aids in the dispensary’s secure internal procedures for the receipt, transport, storage, and organization of product inventory. Duties include, filling in-store and online orders with the correct medical or recreational products, performing daily audits of all inventory in-store, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace and vault areas. This is a team-oriented position.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate with the Inventory Manager and General Manager to ensure the adequate stocking of product throughout the day
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits as instructed by the Inventory Manager
- Follow all hygiene and sanitation guidelines per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain the organization and overall cleanliness of the department and product storage areas
- Maintain appropriate levels of supplies, notify inventory manager of low stock
- Alert the General Manager or Inventory Manager of any product quality, packaging, or labelling concerns
- Organize all products by SKU, commodity group, and METRC tags in the vault and vault for sale
- Ensure there is always clear separation between Medical and Recreational products
- Ensure that the fulfillment of all POS or Online Express Orders are accurately packaged into bags with correct quantities, including all packaging and labelling that meets all local and state requirements
- Attentive to all tickets printed, fulfill orders in an orderly and timely process
- Organize and file all bags from incoming orders, communicate any issues or problems with orders to Inventory Manager
- Make sure all correct product is saleable or unsaleable through POS
- Add positive and constructive feedback on products that are slow moving or overstocked
- Consistently perform inventory and product handling processes and procedures to be 100% compliant
- Perform additional duties, as requested by management
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of cannabis strains
- Basic computer operating skills including intermediate MS Excel knowledge
- Intermediate math skills
- Strong desire to serve the cannabis community
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to follow complex instructions with precision
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., reach arms above head, and stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Must be able to pass any required CCC background checks
Preferred Skills/Abilities
- Prior experience working within the cannabis industry, in a lead position specifically inventory.
- One year or more experience in retail sales or inventory control
- Knowledge of a retail Point of Sale (POS) system

Job Description
The Dispensary Inventory Supervisor Reports to the Dispensary Inventory Manager and is responsible for the day to day operation and oversight of the back of the house operation including the processing room. This role determines operational needs, maintains inventory control and menu accuracy, trains and leads dispensary inventory associates, and proactively solves processing and inventory related problems.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
- Works with dispensary inventory associates while leading by example to increase efficiency, accuracy, and product knowledge
- Estimates daily inventory requirements and pre-packaged product to meet projected needs
- Prepares and packages orders for PharmaCann/Verilife customers and patients with a strong attention to detail
- Responsible for back of house organization, cleanliness and order
- Maintains inventory control - cycle counts, communicate needs, processing, markdowns, destruction and removal
- Helps maintains pricing and photos and ensures accuracy for inventory offerings on menus
- Ensures audit compliance
- Active participant in the recruitment, interview and hire process of filling open positions in a timely manner based on store performance and volume
- Train employees in expected operational standards using appropriate tools such as SOP’s, compliance audits, company and state policy and procedures.
- Set up a training calendar and ensure associate onboarding and new hire training completion
- Manage continuous training and development with team members through training curriculums that provide consistency across all stores
- Oversee direct reports performance and deliver team members’ performance appraisals in partnership with management; collaborate on team member’ performance management, succession planning, development of members strengths and improvement of weaknesses
- Manage direct reports schedules, time and attendance, leave requests
- Conduct investigations as necessary, coach team members on performance, attendance, violation of company and compliance policies, and carry through disciplinary actions, up to and including terminations, in partnership with management and HR
- Provide leadership, training, guidance and support to team members that fosters continuous learning and improvement in performance of the store
- This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to: call center, sales consulting, outreach, security and visual merchandising
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
- Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum 2 years retail experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Back of house inventory experience preferred
- Must possess strong analytical skills to assess data, facts and figures
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Intermediate-level math skills
- Strong Computer based skills
- Sense of urgency
- Detail-oriented
- Communication proficiency

Working conditions
This job operates in a professional store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. This position requires weekends, nights, overtime as needed, holidays and open work availability. May require minimal travel. May be required to work outdoors and/or during inclement weather.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to sit and stand for long periods of time, walk constantly, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Retail Manager and Sales, provide support in the general operation of the company through the organization and management of Dispensary inventory to maximize operational efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Support the operations of the Retail Department by accurate and efficient management of all merchandise and cannabis product inventories.
Fulfill daily obligations to the satisfaction of supervisory staff
Thorough communication of any obstacle which limits their capability to see individual duties through to completion
Relay to superiors any conditions observed that may affect the successful completion of that day’s work.
Complete or oversee everyday inventory control responsibilities including but not limited to;
Assignment, generation, and application of required packaging tags
Incoming internal and external product transfers (acceptance upon intake)
Transfer manifest acceptance (upon verification of physical inventory received)
Verification of the receipt of all required transfer specific supporting documentation for all products received including:
Independent Testing Laboratory Certificates of Analysis
Soil Amendments/Disclosures
Addition of saleable products to POS inventory
Performance of periodic, monthly, and quarterly inventory reconciliations
All matters related to compliance of State and Federal regulations.
Utilizes internal and Department of Taxation mandated databases to ensure accuracy of incoming shipments and corresponding manifests/invoices
Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience:
Previous retail experience preferred
Previous inventory experience preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, and repetitive motions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.

Dispensary Inventory Supervisor
Position: The Dispensary Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the daily oversight of dispensary inventory specialists, coordinators, labeling/packaging specialists, inventory tracking, and coordination. Works directly with the Inventory Director on new processes and implementation. Follows up and presents projects and new initiatives.
Authority and Supervision:
- Reports directly to the Inventory Manager & Director
- Supervises the RMD’s Inventory Teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
- Oversees POS, and Backend operations of our Private and State mandated Seed to Sale Software
- Responsible for elements of inventory tracking, policy implementation, process review, and compliance.
- Oversees product receipt/check in, product returns, and expiration date management.
- Oversees, uses, and maintains all inventory tracking and communication systems
- Manages quality control recording and follow ups from the retail stores
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories for their respective location, while addressing and correcting discrepancies, while collaborating with the Inventory Coordinators about how to prevent repeat occurrences
- Assist Inventory and Systems Directors in testing and confirming new Seed to Sale and Production developments
- Record and communicate on systems issues and support tickets
- Maintains shift coverage. Covers PTO and Sick days.
- Maintains Inventory Payroll and Schedules
- Assists in the updating of Inventory Controls for New Product Releases
- Manages and creates development opportunities and coaching to Inventory Staff
- Works with other Supervisors on supply chain needs and daily menu management
- Creates inventory practices that provide positive patient flow experience by ensuring up to date information and consistent flow of inventory.
- Follows Long Term plans set from the Directors
- Audits and oversees dispensary menus, postings and providing trending information to strategically implement promotions, discounts and strain promotions.
- Provides training regarding inventory and processes.
- Manages the daily priorities of the team
Qualifications and Skills :
- Age 21 or older (Required)
- 2+ years' of Retail Management experience (Required)
- Previous experience in Retail, Food Services or Distribution Centers (Required)
- Positive, collaborative and strong work ethic
- Strong leadership/communication skills with the ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner.
- Extensive knowledge of computers, Point of Sale software and technology resources.
- Excellent organizational, statistical analysis, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
- Ability to travel
Physical capability: Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and perform computer processing operations. Must be able to accommodate a varying schedule based on operational needs. Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
