As Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing physical inventory and floor operations for our 10,000 sq ft warehouse. Responsibilities
- Own and improve our daily operations picking/packing and labeling orders
- Oversee operations to ensure OSHA safety and compliance standards are being upheld
- Manage and track all physical inventory, transfer preparation, and delivery schedules
- Maintain a stellar relationship with the management team, supervisors, team leads, and hourly employees
- Lead and manage direct reports, including hiring, training, and performance review
- Ensure that we comply with all company policies, procedures, ethical standards and all federal, state and local laws/regulations
Requirements:
- 5+ years warehouse experience
- 2+ years warehouse management
- 3+ years in cannabis experience

Summary
The Director of Retail Operations reporting directly to the CEO, is responsible for overseeing all operations of a team while providing clear direction to achieve company initiatives. Additionally, the Director of Retail Operations implements and maintains the policies and procedures of the company and ensures compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Observing and participating in patient services on sales floor, including staff productivity and patient engagement.
Performing random Audit of patient intake forms, for accuracy and completion.
Executing and maintaining compliance of all local and state regulations.
Maintaining accountability of all team members, in relation to specific job description.
Reviewing weekly schedules to ensure there is proper floor coverage, based on business needs.
Upholding all company policies and procedures.
Interfaces with department heads weekly to discuss inventory management, policy and security updates and other dispensary needs.
Performing random audits of cash balancing and product inventory, at each location.
Reviews bi-weekly payroll budget, at each location.
Providing Cultivation team with feedback on inventory levels and sales trends on a weekly basis.
Responsible for approving and processing all Dispensary Manager time-off requests.
Auditing and ensuring that all patient advisors and pharmacists maintain proper record keeping such as patient intake forms, cash handling

Ownership of P&L for retail operations.
Setting monthly sales goals, for each location.

Day to day retail operations management and oversight to achieve company goals across multiple retail dispensary locations in Portland, OR.
