- 4+ years of paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house at a technology company
- Corporate and contracts experience, including digital advertising insertion orders, entity formation and maintenance, contracts review, drafting, and negotiation, and corporate governance practices
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
- Comfortable making judgment calls, spotting issues, and escalating to the team when necessary
- Outstanding writing, research, negotiating, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must.
- Adept at technical tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Carta, and document sharing and e-signing tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where decisions you make will have a large impact

Corporate Cannabis Paralegal
Job Description
We are looking for energetic, results-driven individual to join our rapidly growing team and industry. This role supports the Breedsville team in assisting with regulatory and legislative coordination within the states where we operate or plan to operate in addition to other compliance related duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Breedsville team with all legal and compliance matters to ensure compliance with all applicable state, county and municipal laws, ordinances, and regulations, including the specific cannabis regulations for that state (Michigan).
- Work independently to assist lawyers and provide support to the lawyers with transactional matters.
- Assist with creation of corporations and limited liability companies, including preparation of formation documents, ordering searches and overseeing all filing requirements and maintenance obligations.
- Assist in the application process for entering new markets and drafting and editing license applications.
- Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy.
- Prepare for and closes various corporate transactions.
- Gather litigation and billing information to prepare responses.
- Provide legal and non-legal administrative support to attorneys and business owners.
- Manages attorney contacts and calendar.
- Invoice and bill reconciliation, interface with accounting department.
- Assist with the drafting, reviewing, and filing of legal and regulatory documents
- Electronically organize and maintains all legal and corporate documents

Job Overview:
The Corporate and Transactional Paralegal provides support to the General Counsel and Executive team members. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
