- Schedule and conduct routine physical inspections for license commencement, annual inspections, and physical changes to a licensee's facility and their operations.
- Prepare, issue and follow-up with inspection reports and guidance.
- Recommend, issue and follow up with notices of violation and other regulatory compliance tools, including identifying necessary remediation steps that ensures future compliance.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Compliance:
- Communicate with regulatory compliance requirements, changes in regulatory requirements, and/or clarification and follow-up of submissions under review. Enforcement of SOPs for CCC Compliance.

- Develop, present and implement all onboarding and training materials for new employees.

- Assist CEO with all HR matters company-wide including biweekly payroll, respond to workers compensation and unemployment claims, employee benefits, and additional duties as assigned by management.
- Create and implement programs to help improve the employee experience.
- Administrative duties to include HRIS data entry, filing, and other day-to-day organizational tasks.
- Implementation of Human Resources SOPs and policies.
- Prepare and deliver all offers, severance and termination letters.

The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, compliance standards, and regulations in accordance Tribal laws. The standards and procedures will be no less strict than those adopted by the State of Nevada. Further, the Executive Director will ensure that all cannabis activities on RSIC lands (whether production, processing, or retail) are in compliance with applicable law.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, review, revise and maintain procedures in order to ensure cannabis companies, workforce and products are in compliance with rules, regulations and compliance standards.
2. Perform licensing and background checks on the employees of companies and issue appropriate licenses in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Conduct diligence and, if approved, license marijuana facilities and operations.4. Impose, collect, reconcile, maintain and report to the Board all taxes and licensing fees related to marijuana operations and transactions.5. Identify potential areas of compliance risk and implement corrective plans for resolution.6. Ensure all METRC tagging, transformation of inventory, and movement of inventory are compliant with the Tribal-State Cannabis Agreement, Ordinance and RSIC Regulations.7. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and approve legal items: Complete document reviews for power of attorney, trust agreements and guardianships for proper completion of the document, authorities and usage on depository accounts.
- Complete OFAC, KYC and Business Membership activities: Complete the clearing of OFAC and 314a reviews daily, conduct new business membership reviews and cannabis monitoring weekly.
- Complete Help Desk/Email Request: Monitor the help desk hourly to address branch questions and compliance items requiring research, review and approval.
- Manage Vendor Management Program: Maintain the vendor management data base for up to date information, completion of vendor reviews and provide support to the Vendor Management committee.
- Conduct Compliance Audits: Execute audits on high risk and regulatory areas of a financial institution including depository, lending, collections and call center functions. Work closely with the Vice President of Compliance on documentation of the oversight program, determine areas to be selected for audits and research, prepare and schedule audits accordingly. Analyze the results and document recommendations for correcting or enhancing compliance requirements. Communicate with department managers to ensure corrective actions have been completed and follow-up procedures have been implemented. Analyze and critique proposed regulations.
- Provide day-to-day compliance support: Answer compliance or policy questions from all areas of the credit union especially the branch network on depository related concerns, power of attorney questions, trust accounts and guardianship reviews, depository transaction questions, new account opening and business ownership, existing products and services, and new guidance. Including functions such as: Know your Customer (KYC), Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), Transaction Monitoring, 314a, OFAC, business ownership, Vendor Management, new business membership investigations, and cannabis monitoring. Contact various regulatory agencies and attorneys based on request from the Vice President of Compliance and business requirements. - Analyze information and make recommendations: Monitor current policy and procedures of Credit Union, recommending changes needed to comply with regulations or to implement compliance for new regulations. Maintain current compliance library and cross reference file for easy retrieval of information.
- Provide organizational support: Provide input and support for the development of new products and services by locating, researching and analyzing necessary information and data. Obtain necessary attorney opinion to validate recommendations. Prepare recommendations for actions to inaugurate new projects.
- Implement AML Compliance Management: Provide support to the BSA Specialist for AML compliance questions and transaction monitoring review support. Assist with the development of a BSA Business protocol and conduct Business Relationship AML reviews.

Qualifications:

We are hiring a Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance with all applicable state and local laws and regulations across manufacturing, distribution, and delivery operations. JOB SUMMARY
Redbud Roots, Inc is looking for an Assistant Compliance Officer to join their growing team. This position will be responsible for reviewing Redbud Roots, Inc. materials and ensuring all facilities and departments remain compliant under state law. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with reporting all cannabis activity in the METRC Track and Trace system that pertains to the intake, processing, packaging, labeling, harvesting, and waste of cannabis and cannabis products.
- Provide timely communications for any issues with METRC Track and Trace reporting.
- Help to develop, implement, and manage corporate-wide compliance program.
- Maintain physical documentation for commercial cannabis activity.
- Keep an inventory of tags, labels, and other supplies necessary for Track & Trace.
- Provide assistance with third party state required compliance testing of product in multiple facilities and other post testing duties.
- Assist with internal audits and reconciliation.
- Prepare, submit, and file internal and state required documentation and forms.
- Work with inventory and sales team to ensure seamless communication.
- Create manifests for all orders.
- Ensure that every order that leaves the building is 100% compliant from a track and trace standpoint.
- Label creation for finished products.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Summary:
The Production Compliance Officer will assist in implementing and auditing compliance programs and initiatives in Nature's Remedy's cultivation and product manufacture facility in Lakeville, MA. The Production Compliance Officer will conduct daily and periodic internal audits and inspections to ensure corporate initiatives and activities abide state and local cannabis and safe workplace regulations. The Production Compliance Officer will be responsible for drafting and filing internal audit and incident reports for delivery to the Director of Compliance. The Production Compliance Officer will report to the Director of Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily and periodic operational, inventory, security, sanitation, and safe workplace audits and spot checks in cannabis cultivation and product manufacture facility.
- Draft and file audit and incident reports for submission to the Director of Compliance.

- Experience in pharmaceuticals and traditional GMP compliance for pharmaceutical production and regulated agriculture, preferably in controlled agricultural environments.

The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of Curaleaf's compliance program. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of Curaleaf's "central compliance" function that coordinates with compliance functions of multiple subsidiaries in various states with focus on regulatory compliance with the State laws and regulations governing the emerging cannabis industry

El puesto de Compliance Officer se refiere al personal dedicado a fscalizar y velar por el cumplimiento con los procesos y requerimientos reglamentarios a través de las auditorías internas del Departamento de Cumplimiento. Este puesto fiscaliza directamente todas las unidades del negocio, inclyuendo permisos, operaciones, requerimientos administrativos y corporativos.
Deberes y responsabilidades esenciales
- Realizar análysis e investigaciones legales y/o reglamentarias, brindar asesoría sobre diferentes temas reglamentarios, inclyuendo redacción de memorandos y otros documentos informativos.
- Ayudar a revisar todo documento relevante traído a la atención del Departamento de Cumplimiento y a identificar los problemas más importantes que deben resolverse de manera prioritaria.
- Asumir las responsabilidades de fiscalización del día a día y brindar asesoría en todos los aspectos de los procesos operacionales de la compañía.
- Brindar apoyo en revisar, redactar y negociar contratos, NDA y otros acuerdos relacionados entre la empresa, los clientes, los contratistas y los proveedores; si aplica.
- Identificar y recomendar los cambios necesarios en los procedimientos de la unidad de negocios para abordar las brechas de cumplimiento o mejorar el cumplimiento de los requisitos reglamen tarios.
- Colaborar con otros departamentos para dirigir los problemas de cumplimiento a los canales existentes apropiados para la investigación y resolución.
- Identifica áreas de vulnerabilidad y riesgo de cumplimiento; desarrollar/; implementar planes de acción correctiva para la resolución de problemas y proporcionar orientación general sobre cómo evitar o tratar situaciones similares.
- Procesar y perpara todos los trámites necesarios y ausntos especializados para las licencias y certificaciones de la empresa.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de las leyes y reglamentos de Puerto Rico que rigen los aspecctos relacionados con el Cannabis Medicinal.
- Supervisar la investigación, implementación y puesta en funcionamiento de las actualizaciónes normativas neesarias en ls departamentos operativos.
- Atender de manera efectiva los problemas dentro de la organziación para garantizar el conocimiento y la resolución oportuna de los problemas de as actualizaciones de requisitos reglamentarios.

Cualificaciones

Educación y/o Experiencia
- Bachillerato en ciencia o administración, preferible.
- Licenciado en Derecho, o Maestria, preferible.
- Tres (3) avos de experiencia en una industria farmaceéutica o de Cannabis Medicinal con al menos dos (2) años en procesos regulados y/o combinación de educación y experiencia.
- Conocimientos técnicos especializados en industria de Cannabis Medicinal y equipos de procesamiento.
- Conocimientos sobre análisis reglamentario y/o legal, manejo de inventario y validación de data.
- Competente en los reglamentos de GMP, OSHA y FDA, preferible.
Destrezas de Comunicación
Bilingüe (Inglés preferible y Español – escrito y oral)
Capacidad para leer, analizar e interpretar publicaciones periódicas generales de negocios, revistas profesionales, procedimientos técnicos o regulaciones gubernamentales. Capacidad para escribir
informes, correspondencia comercial y manuales de procedimientos. Capacidad para presentar información de manera efectiva y responder a preguntas de grupos de gerentes, clientes y el público en general.
Horas de Trabajo
Disponibilidad para trabajar un mínimo de 40 horas a la semana con disponibilidad para trabajar sábados, domingos y días feriados.
Destrezas matemáticas
Matemática requerida para inventarios, proyecciones y medidas.
Razonamiento
Capacidad para resolver problemas prácticos y tratar una variedad de variables concretas en situaciones donde sólo existe una estandarización limitada. Capacidad para interpretar una variedad de instrucciones proporcionadas en forma escrita u oral.
Destrezas de computadora
Conocimiento sólido y habilidades informáticas que incluya Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive entre otros. Conocimiento y/o experiencia en MJ Freeway Business Solutions o Biotrack. preferiblemente.
Certificados y licencias
- Licencia Ocupacional Gerencial
- Certificaciones de Buenas Prácticas de Cultivo, Manufactura o Laboratorio, preferible.
- Aprobar revisión detallada de antecedentes federal, proveer certificado de salud y buena conducta.
Otras destrezas y habilidades
Microsoft Office, redacción de reportes. Disponibilidad de horarios extendidos, feriados y fines de semana. Habilidades de escritura y procesamiento de textos por encima de la media. Buen conocimiento de trabajo del software de procesamiento de documentos. Fuertes habilidades de resolución de problemas y servicio al cliente y el instinto y la iniciativa para usarlos en el mejor momento.
