- Zips Weed Co. is looking for a Sales Representative to help expand our brand's retail presence. Our sales representatives will spend the majority of their time on the road; setting meetings, making initial contact, signing new accounts, building and maintaining relationships, placing orders, conducting staff trainings, etc. The sales representative will be responsible for meeting revenue and market penetration goals. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated & organized and wants to be a part of growing our brand and make a significant impact with our company. The job will include Stipend + Bonus/Commission.*

*Key tasks include:
- Opening New Accounts
- Generate qualified leads by means of web research, networking, phone, and email.
- Travel to retail stores to present our products and introduce yourself to the company to managers and buyers.
- Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with the ordering process.
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
- Maintain current accounts in your territory

*Customer Service:
- Develop relationships with retail store owners, managers, and staff.
- Communicate a deep understanding of the many advantages of our products.
- Support stores post-sale

*Accountability:
- Reports directly to the CEO
- Log sales activities in sales CRM daily.
- Work closely with the Sales team to communicate all sales related activities including travel schedule, prospect lists etc.
- Develop reports pertaining to sales activities for management and update them weekly.

Experience Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation in order to visit clients.
- 1+ years of outside sales in the cannabis industry is required.
- 2+ years of outside sales in any sales capacity is required.
- Prepare weekly routes in advance to efficiently manage your territory and time.
- Existing book of clients/buyers required
- Engaging, persuasive, upbeat, and approachable personality.
- A passion for meeting new people and promoting products in a competitive environment.
- Knowledge and passion for cannabis products preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- A strategic thinker who is efficient with great follow-up skills.
- Able to keep track of Sales process across many accounts (Google Sheets, Excel, Leaflink, and other software platforms.)
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Strong external customer orientation and client relationship building
- Customer service background is a plus
- Willing to do whatever it takes to be successful in a highly competitive market.
