Job Summary
This Job description defines the duties and responsibility for the position of Cultivation Associate and Lead cultivation associate. The Cultivation Associates are the primary persons in charge of performing cultivation operations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
The Cultivation Associate is accountable for performing inspections to monitor plant performance, nutrient additions, perform pest mitigation strategies and other cultivation related tasks. As the bulk of the Cultivation team, these individuals with the direction from the Cultivation Manager are responsible for ensuring proper lighting, watering, temperature and humidity controls for plants
Maintain supplies and materials such to conserve resources including but not limited to soil, water, nutrients, and consumables. Maintain clean and orderly working environment.
Miscellaneous tasks assigned by Cultivation Manager.
- Skills and Abilities:
Requires strong oral communication skills, experience working with a team towards a common goal, strong listening skills, effective problem solving skills, understanding of plant biology, medicinal plants, and crop production methods. Knowledge of organic production methods is a plus.
Ability to read and understand technical subjects such as technical specifications, technical procedures, process descriptions, etc….
Ability to read well-structured, technical reports, protocols and technical correspondences.
Has to be driven, self- motivating and well organized.
Successful previous experience as a cultivation technician, assistant.
Proven ability to work with a team to drive a goal or mission from plan to close
Lead Cultivation Associate will require proven team leadership, mentoring, and should demonstrate ability to maintain team performance given adversity.

The Fulfillment and Packaging Manager oversees all phases of packaging. Must be proficient with tracking and monitoring systems. Works closely with the Processing Manager for daily personnel needs and to meet quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Ensures the safe, accurate, and timely production of product packaging.
- Ensures cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the production area
- Maintains quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product.
- Ensures compliance with State regulations and testing requirements
- Understands the proper and safe handling of hazardous materials
- Develops SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and consistent processes
- Prepares inventory reports to ensure products are available, accurate and in demand
- Maintains packaging inventory and to ensure a seamless production schedule.
- Ensures accurate weighing and inventory; all products are packaged, counted, sorted, and labeled accurately
- Effectively leads and manages the daily activities of the packaging staff, assigning tasks, adjusting schedules and assigning breaks as needed to realize high quality product results, efficient work flows and motivated staff
Work Experience Required:
- * Minimum 2+ year of working in a commercial cannabis production environment
- Minimum 2+ year of management experience
- Experience training and mentoring a crew of 5+ staff members
- Knowledge of computer and office equipment and programs (Seed to sale, inventory systems; MS Office Suite programs or Google Sheets)
- Extensive math and analytical skills required for inventory, data analysis, projections, measurements, calculations
- Principles and practices related to the indoor packaging of cannabis including extensive knowledge of various cannabis product.

- Excellent time-management skills; ability to effectively plan and prioritize
- Skill in managing physical resources (budgeting, inventories, equipment, materials)

- Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and absolute reliability and honesty
Physical Requirements
- Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for a distance of 100 feet
- Close visual focus required
- This position occasionally requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects
- Must pass state mandated background check
- Must have MED Occupational Badge
