Chrysalis is a client-centered, humanistic treatment program based on the belief that all people can develop a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. We provide innovative outpatient services for adults over 18 who need alcohol and/or drug treatment as well as mental health services.
Job Description: Our ideal candidate has experience with diverse populations as this position will be serving individuals from many backgrounds including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, housed and unhoused. You will combine skills of self-direction, motivation, the ability to work independently as well as with a team, have healthy boundaries, good communication skills and excellent work ethic. This position will support a significant new multi-million-dollar project funded by Oregon's Measure 110. You will be on the ground floor of an innovative and critically needed initiative. Measure 110 decriminalized the possession of small amounts of illicit drugs such as heroin and methamphetamine and directed cannabis tax dollars to a statewide grant program to fund treatment and recovery services.
White Bird’s planned Harm Reduction Hub is a key element of Lane County’s new framework for substance abuse treatment and will locate offices for all SUD-related services under one roof to provide timely and low-barrier access to care. Providing comprehensive, whole person care in a holistic ‘one stop’ facility will significantly reduce barriers for individuals seeking harm reduction and/or substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.
Requirements:
· Have completed AMH approved training for Peer Support and be a Certified Recovery Mentor or Traditional Health Worker, approved by the State of Oregon
· Individual must be a person who has progressed in their own recovery from substance use or mental health issues and is willing to self-identify as a peer and work to assist individuals with chemical dependency and/or mental health issues.
· Possess a valid Oregon driver’s license
Preferred:
· Experience working with clients who are homeless, have substance use disorders and/or mental health concerns, who have diverse backgrounds
· Dedicated to promoting inclusivity and safety amongst people on the margins of society
· Have a passion for social justice and diversity
· Have experience serving LGBTQI+ populations
· Be able to use a computer and keyboard and learn how to use an electronic health system
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Peer Support Specialists aid in others recovery by providing valuable information about:
o The recovery process
o Symptom management
o Resources for assistance, which includes providing foul weather gear, tents, clothing etc
o Harm Reduction
· In addition, the Peer Support Specialist will assist in
o Advocating for the individual
o Aiding in self determination
o Rehabilitation
o Seeking support services
o When appropriate, provide harm reduction supplies related to Measure 110 which might include fentanyl strips, Narcan, and other supplies as needed
· The Peer Support Specialist performs a wide range of tasks to assist clients in regaining independence and mastery over chemical dependence and offers empathy, support and advice as challenges present themselves. Services will be provided in a wide variety of settings in the community such as:
o Professional and private facilities
o Clients’ homes
o Offices and clinics
o Self-help groups
o White Bird’s Measure 110 Hub
· This position reports to both the Measure 110 Project Manager and Chrysalis Program Coordinator
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to work start date
Must be fully vaccinated 2 weeks prior to start date.

General Position Description
The Measure 110 Project Manager is responsible for providing a proactive and client centered interface between multiple White Bird programs that will carry out activities funded by Oregon Measure 110. Manage the newly established White Bird Harm Reduction Hub. Responsible for the successful integration of the WB programs working together to provide unified harm reduction and overdose prevention services. Ensures that community members have easy access to a diverse range of harm reduction and clinical services.
Responsibilities
1. Manage assigned projects according to life cycle (define, plan, implement, report and grants team)
2. Develop and manage schedule; timelines, activities, milestones
3. Assess/analyze resource constraints/capacity and plan accordingly
4. Ensure/oversee/track documentation gathering
5. Conduct weekly team meetings
6. Ensure that clear and comprehensive system documentation, user guides, and training materials are created in order to support project implementation.
7. Identify project priorities and effectively communicate them to team members.
8. Monitor project status and track key performance indicators
9. Provide progress reports to team members, executive leadership, and program coordinators.
10. Track project expenditures and all project supplies including harm reduction and camping/health supplies.
11. Manage project budget in collaboration with fiscal staff.
12. Follow White Bird’s privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in non-profit administration, human services, or related field or:
· A minimum of 4 years of experience in administrative program/project management
· Documented expertise in management of grant-funded projects
· Proficient in standard project management tools such as word processing, Microsoft Office Suite, pdf editing and database management.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent team management skills: creativity, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, along with a high level of emotional intelligence.
· Flexible and adaptable approach to collaboration and problem-solving.
· Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.

· Experience working with clients who are homeless, have substance use disorders and/or mental health concerns, who have diverse backgrounds.
