Job Summary:
The Extraction Specialist provides on-site support to the extraction operations within a cannabis cultivation facility. As an Extraction Specialist, you are responsible for the cannabis extraction process and the manufacturing of cannabis concentrates. Extraction Specialists may be cross-trained and asked to support other departments occasionally to meet business needs, including but not limited to the processing of dry cannabis flower.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment, biomass, and raw materials for extraction.
- Execute extractions and post-extraction
- Operate extraction equipment, such as rotary evaporators, reactors, filtration equipment, etc.
- Ensure the consistency and efficiency of products through quality control testing and procedures.
- Collect samples as needed for quality testing.
- Regularly clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
- Maintain strict inventory record of raw materials, chemicals, waste, and equipment.
- Manage, document, and dispose lab waste.
- Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals and products.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
- Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
- Immediately inform Extraction Manager of any system or equipment
- Ensure all products are of high quality and visually aesthetic, reporting concerns to management for remediation.

Job Summary:
The Production Specialist, Edibles provides on-site support to the production areas within a cannabis cultivation facility. As a Production Specialist, Edibles, you are responsible for supporting the manufacturing of cannabis infused edibles and assembling and packaging products for distribution. - Precisely and efficiently measure and weigh ingredients using recipe specifications.
- Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment to mix, melt, pour, and bake raw ingredients.
- Receive food items and ensure appropriate storage.
- Make sure that all food items are stored and rotated properly using first in first out (FIFO) methods.
- Collect samples as needed to quality testing.
- Weigh, assemble, package, seal, and label products.
- Regularly clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, organizing, developing, and executing the overall maintenance requirements and maintaining proper environments of the cultivation and processing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP), as well as delegating responsibilities and training personnel in the execution of assigned work in accordance with established SOP.
- Ensure proper performance and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems within the building.
- Ensure proper performance, maintenance, and operation of all cultivation and processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair/replacement.
- Be a hands-on leader while assisting in the completion of the PM program as well as the troubleshooting, repair and general maintenance work on the facilities, equipment and grounds.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis—including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, etc.
- Provide coverage for the boiler, HVAC, and facility mechanical systems.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance.
- Maintain record of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of CMMS for the maintenance department and act as point of contact for CMMS administration for assigned location.
- Ensure all custodial functions associated with cleaning and maintaining the building both inside and outside.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, safety and security and ensure all required documentation is maintained accordingly.
- Manage outside contractors for determined outside facilities and equipment.
- Assist in the periodic review and negotiation of service agreements with outside contractors.
- Coordinate operations and schedules of personnel.
- Interview, hire, and train personnel.

This role is responsible for ensuring cannabis cultivation/manufacturing facility operations remain compliant under state law. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize BioTrack to audit records and assist staff with product creation, movement, and waste for cultivation and manufactured products.
- Oversee harvest, manufacturing, testing, packaging, shipment, and waste destruction activities to ensure compliance throughout the facility.
- Collect, audit, and maintain required records from all departments (cultivation, lab, kitchen, etc.) to ensure compliance with state laws and company policies.
- Monitor and audit inventory of cultivation and manufacturing products and waste on a routine, ongoing basis, and investigate any discrepancies identified.
- Monitor inventory losses and assist in developing standard operating procedures to reduce loss in all departments.
- Confirm that all new packaging and labeling is compliant prior to distribution.

Job Summary:
The Cannabis Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring the sales performance of our flagship brands and activities, including cultivating new and existing relationships, completing sales, tracking sales performance over time, gathering feedback, and providing budtender training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee entire sales process.
- Exceed assigned revenue quota on a weekly basis.

This role is responsible for ensuring cannabis cultivation/manufacturing facility operations remain compliant under state law. Qualified individuals will demonstrate several years' experience as a compliance leader in a highly-regulated industry, such as cannabis production, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, alcohol beverage, etc.
A demonstrated track record implementing and maintaining robust operational compliance—including developing standard operating procedures and leading internal audits—is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize BioTrack to audit records and assist staff with product creation, movement, and waste for cultivation and manufactured products.
- Oversee harvest, manufacturing, testing, packaging, shipment, and waste destruction activities to ensure compliance throughout the facility.
- Collect, audit, and maintain required records from all departments (cultivation, lab, kitchen, etc.) to ensure compliance with state laws and company policies.
- Monitor and audit inventory of cultivation and manufacturing products and waste on a routine, ongoing basis, and investigate any discrepancies identified.
- Monitor inventory losses and assist in developing standard operating procedures to reduce loss in all departments.

Requirements:
If you are selected for the role, you will need to sign a Business Protection Agreement and complete Agent Registration with DOH. Agent Registration will require a successful FBI fingerprint background check and may take an average of 2-3 weeks to complete. All new hires will be required to pay for their fingerprints. We will reimburse the new hire for the cost on their first paycheck.
Please keep in mind that our facility is under constant monitor and surveillance by Verano NJ and the State of New Jersey. If you are hired by the company, your actions as a Verano NJ employee will be monitored and scrutinized by the company, the State of New Jersey, and other authorities.

Verano NJ is a cannabis cultivation and processing facility in Branchburg, New Jersey, and we are looking for qualified Grow Specialists to join our team! Under the direction of the Grow Manager and Grow Supervisor, the Grow Specialist is responsible for supporting daily cannabis cultivation operations during the life stages of the plant, from vegetation to flower to harvest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes accurately.
- Complete all forms and logs associated with cultivation responsibilities.
- Monitor management, fertilization, insect and disease monitoring, sanitation, and overall plant growth, health, and appearance in the grow rooms.
- Follow plant scheduling and organization to help Grow Manager accurately project all plant needs.
- Catalog and maintain organization of plants from clone-to-harvest using our logging system.
- Work within company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Manage their workload efficiently to meet goals and consistently produce quality product.
- Maintain up-to-date work shift responsibilities on logs and inform Grow Manager of any changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a regulated field that adheres to health and safety policies and procedures required.
- Must be able to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
- Must be comfortable with heights, soil and water, and tight spaces.
- Must be able to climb, squat, bend, twist, stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to successfully register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
- Must be able to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

- Must be able to attend two-week training at Albion, Illinois. (Company will pay for travel and accommodations.)
