Position Title: Sales Associate/Delivery Driver
Reports To: Retail General Manager
Position Summary: This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills to support the daily operations of company’s Retail Dispensary, including, sales, cash handling processes, inventory, customer service, regulatory compliance, communication, customer education and information management, and all other necessary requirements to remain in compliance with state laws. As a delivery driver you will need a valid CA Driver's License and a clean driving record. You do not need a car as we have a company car to use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acting as the face of the dispensary, warmly greet every customer entering the show room
- Actively engage customers in a warm and welcoming manner, offer personalized recommendations and solutions, and drive product sale
- Handle customer issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner with customer retention always in mind, escalating to the appropriate parties when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer experience with every guest, every time
- Promote current sales promotions, marketing initiatives and new product launches to customers
- Complete sales transactions courteously and maintain proper accountability at registers
- Maintain store selling floor cleanliness, back-room organization, visual presentation and safety standards at all times
- Uphold inventory control to minimize loss by complying with all BCC and company inventory control procedures, product waste procedures and vendor delivery procedures.
- Through the point-of-sale system ensure each customer has a complete profile inclusive of email address, phone number, and how they heard of us
- Assist with dispensary operations and opening and closing procedures during hours of operation
- Adhere to all company-wide policies, process, procedures, and requirements
- Maintain a culture of high-quality customer service and communication
- Daily compliance with dispensary policies, including but not limited to the following: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, and work schedules.
- Comply with all HR policies, including code of conduct, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Contribute to team environment and company advancement in alignment with the strategic direction set by management
Required Qualifications:
- Regular attendance
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- A minimum of 2 years’ in a customer-centric sales environment
- Experience in Retail or Customer Service required
- Must be able to obtain State approved credentials and pass criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Medical and/or Retail Cannabis
- Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal Laws and Regulations pertaining to Medical and/or Retail Cannabis
- Reporting and information management, process management, team problem solving, and inventory control skills, knowledge of medical and/or retail marijuana policy and law, and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills; anticipatory thinking and ability to forecast; calculating, multitasking, attention to details, conflict resolution, teamwork, and professionalism, accountability, and proactive active behavior.
- Other duties as assigned

Job Purpose
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for driving the retail store business and customer experience to achieve established goals through hands-on leadership and contributions.
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing various operational aspects of the business, including processes that enhance the customer experience, inventory control procedures, supply procurement, back and front of house organization, and product placement.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Create, implement, and manage restock processes that include both sales floor and backstock organization, stock level maintenance, and FIFO best practices
- Manage processes for product placement according to visual standards
- Oversee all retail cash management processes including reconciliation, deposits, audits, and point of sale training
- Identify and manage facilities/maintenance issues and follow up with the appropriate contacts and departments
- Manage the supply ordering process and work with appropriate departments on purchase requisitions
- Operate as an effective leader at all times and demonstrate strong sales floor presence
- Inspire and influence: lead by example and drive positive results by building an excellent customer and team experience
- Oversee the daily sales ledger, shift logs, and KPI tracking and reporting
- Proactively meet established sales goals and other KPIs and hold the team accountable to drive positive results
- Collaborate with the other store leaders to drive strategy and achieve goals
- Participate in leadership meetings by presenting department updates, identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and offering feedback

- Entry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is strongly preferred
Working Environment
- This position will work in an indoor facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and working in close proximity with customers and staff.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- Schedule is 40+ hours per week
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or San Jose Police Department.

Job Purpose
